With all due respect to the families of the fallen astronauts,
with great pride in our space program as an American,
and with all Love and Faith in the God of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam

I say to you all that this is a sign from God.

The War on Terror and the Invasion of Iraq must be halted by all people all
over the world.

Well theres a difference between the space shuttle and god, the space
shuttle exists. Or at least it used to exist, which is far more than I can
say for god.

Then the terrorists win.

Hmmm, so god kills more innocents to convince us to stop killing. Wow,
thats a great sign.

If god wanted us to stop the fighting dont u think he could have done it
with out more bloodshed?

To add...

And maybe in a way that was actually realted to the war. Like turn our
weapons to dust, or stop all our machines from working.

No, I guess your god needs to kill innocent astronauts doing something
completely unrelated to war, so that people like u can make these
outrageous connections.

And stoping the war on terror would be an invitation for more attacks. To
muslim extremists it will look like we are giving up and that will only
encourage more killing.

The human propensity for superstition never ceases to amaze me.

Yes; it's a sign from the God of economics that our stingy, short-
sighted Congress has been too busy buying bombers that won't fly
(and guns that won't shoot and any other fancy gadgetry that they
hope allow us to murder foreigners at great distances while dropping
the rate of body-bag return to our own shores to comparatively nothing)
to fund NASA sufficiently to provide up-to-date and appropriate
technical support for these dedicated, highly-trained, intelligent
explorers, some of our best and our boldest. But then Congress is
clearly made up of our worst, dumbest, and most cowardly, so why am
I surprised?

JP George's original post may well be evidence of god then!

You haven't seen anything, yet. After Islam is destroyed and the
Kaba'a glows radioactive for the next 125,000 years - THAT'S your sign
from God that Islam's hate and prejudice were not acceptable.
