"This alert involves a particular form of fraud known as affinity fraud that has
been perpetrated upon multiple congregations of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Northern
California..."
"Having observed this firsthand as a participant in the RBC engagement and as an
officer for the congregation’s non-profit religious corporation, I am shedding
light on this situation since the wrongdoers, including overseers within the
English - Menlo Park Congregation, Regional Building Committee and Circuit 13,
continue to cover up their misconduct."
"Understandably, the following information may be difficult for some to believe.
As a lifelong servant of Jehovah, I find this situation hard to believe myself.
Nevertheless, it has occurred."
"It appears that participants in this scam occupy strategic positions of
responsibility at varying levels of the organization, which may explain why all
requests to the Service Department for a special committee to be formed to
investigate and resolve this situation have gone unanswered."

This is funny. Yeah, I can see this happening. The circuit oversears and
elders get fed up at how well off the governing body is, so they want a piece of
the pie also. It doesn't surprise me at all that high ranking JWs are thieves.
After all, they're just emulating the GB.

In article <le5d7...@drn.newsguy.com>, Annointed Remnant says...
More on this:

http://jwleaks.org/scandals/menlo-park-congregation/

"'In 2010 the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of New York seized control of
millions of dollars of prime real estate assets belonging to the Menlo Park
Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, California, by forcefully removing the body
of elders and dispersing the congregation. Money invested by the congregation
was also removed from their bank accounts by Watchtower representatives. Those
within the congregation that objected to this were threatened with
disfellowshipping. Those congregation members who actually spoke up against the
scandal were later disfellowshipped.

Allegations of corruption, collusion, banking fraud, and a 'money laundering
scheme' have since been leveled against the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society
of New York, their lawyers, and their bankers, JPMorgan Chase Bank.'"

So, the elders who tried to warn the WTBTS about fraud being committed by other
elders and COs got disfellowshipped. Same thing that happened to the JWs who
tried to tell the truth about the GBs handling of the pedophile problem. They
were disfellowshipped to discredit them, but later it was found that the
whistleblowers were exactly correct.

There was something in the past similar to this going on with the KHs. I
wish I could find it in my old backups but could not. It wasn't just in
Calif' either. BTW, there was a group of JW women in TN who were DFed about
8 yrs ago for insisting something be done about the pedophile problems they
were having in the KHs. They refused to be silenced and were DFed and
shunned. Disgusting!
