Israel is like a "canary in a coal mine" for the West -- a indicator of
whether the toxic gas of Islam is spewing over the border and threatening
the peace loving civilized world. You see, early coal miners carried a
canary into their coal mines since canaries are sensitive to toxic fumes --
as long as the canary was singing, the air supply was safe. If the canary
died it signified that toxic fumes were an imminent mortal threat and direct
action was required to save lives.
Israel is like that canary. As long as Israel survives, it means the the
toxic fumes of Islam are held back and are not imminently threatening
wholesale death and destruction to the West. If Israel dies, it would be an
alarm and direct action would be needed to prevent what killed Israel from
killing the rest of the world.

More about Israel ...
Israel is a parliamentary democracy with legislative, executive and judicial
branches. The head of the state is the president, whose duties are mostly
ceremonial and formal; the office symbolizes the unity and sovereignty of
the state. The Knesset, Israel's legislative authority, is a 120-member
unicameral parliament which operates in plenary session and through 15
standing committees. Its members are elected every four years in universal
nationwide elections. The government (cabinet of ministers) is charged with
administering internal and foreign affairs. It is headed by a prime minister
and is collectively responsible to the Knesset.
