033.056. Inna Allaha wamala-ikatahu yusalloona AAala alnnabiyyi ya
ayyuha allatheena amanoo salloo AAalayhi wasallimoo tasleeman -- Lo! Allah
and His angels shower blessings on the Prophet. O ye who believe! Ask
blessings on him and salute him with a worthy salutation.

hadith: allahumma salli `ala muhammadin wa `ala ali muhammadin wa
sallim. o allah, send blessings upon muhammad and upon the family of
muhammad, and grant them peace!

reciters of salawat will inherit the paradise -- alfirdaws
023.009. waallatheena hum aaala salawatihim yuhafithoona 023.010.
ola-ika humu alwarithoona 023.011. allatheena yarithoona alfirdawsa hum
feeha khalidoona 023.009 and who pay heed to their salawat. 023.010 these
are the heirs 023.011 who will inherit paradise. there they will abide.
THE HOLY AHL AL-BAIT--THE HOLY PROPHET'S HOUSEHOLD,
THE HOLY IMAMS [PBUTH] AND THE HOLY IMAMAT
sanctity of the holy imams--priests [pbuth] during the biblical era
leviticus 21:8 thou shalt sanctify him therefore; for he offereth
the bread of thy god: he shall be holy unto thee: for i the lord, which
sanctify you, am holy.
exodus 40:13 and thou shalt put upon aaron the holy garments, and
anoint him, and sanctify him; that he may minister unto me - [the lord
god] - in the priest's -- imam - office. exodus 28:41 and thou shalt put
them upon aaron thy brother, and his sons with him; and shalt anoint them,
and consecrate them, and sanctify them, that they may minister unto me -
[the lord god] - in the priest's -- imam - office.
exodus 29:44 and i will sanctify the tabernacle of the
congregation, and the altar: i will sanctify also both aaron and his sons,
to minister to me in the priest's -- imam - office.
leviticus 10:3 then moses said unto aaron, this is it that the lord
spake, saying, i will be sanctified in them that come nigh me, and before
all the people i will be glorified. and aaron held his peace.
ETERNAL, HOLY & DIVINE PREISTHOOD--IMAMAT
Hebrews 7:1 For this Melchisedec, KING of Salem, priest-IMAM of the
most high God - EL ELYON--AL ALIYYUN, who met Abraham returning from the
slaughter of the kings, and blessed him; Hebrews 7:2 To whom also Abraham
gave a tenth part [zakat--dasond] of all; first being by interpretation KING
of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of
peace-ISLAM MEANS PEACE;
Hebrews 7:3 Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither
beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God;
abideth a priest--IMAM continually. Hebrews 7:25 Wherefore he is able also
to SAVE them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever
liveth to make intercession for them. Hebrews 7:26 For such an high
priest--HIGH IMAM became us, who is HOLY, harmless, undefiled, separate from
sinners, and made higher than the heavens;

during the islamic dispensation
and the holy qur'an corroborates the above like so:
62: 1. all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth
glorifieth allah, the sovereign lord, the holy one, the mighty, the wise.
59:23. allah is he, than whom there is no other god;- the sovereign, the
holy one,
25:35. (before this,) we sent moses the book, and appointed his brother
aaron with him as minister;
002.060 and when moses asked for water for his people, we said: smite
with thy staff the rock. and there gushed out therefrom twelve springs (so
that) each tribe knew their drinking-place. eat and drink of that which
allah hath provided,
33:33. be regular in prayer, and pay the poor-due, and obey allah and his
messenger. allah's wish is but to remove uncleanness far from you, o folk of
the household--ahl al bait, and cleanse you with a thorough cleansing.
33:34. and bear in mind that which is recited in your houses of the
revelations of allah and wisdom. lo! allah is subtile, aware.

these scriptures show very clearly that the holy prophets' [moses and
muhammad] [pbuth] -- ahl al-baits--households - [the rightful holy imams] -
were/are pure and divinely purified by allah himself. and that by his
infinite grace and mercy, this purity and purification will continue as long
as he will [hq 11:73 & 37:113]. this seems to be their - [the rightful holy
imams] - sole prerogative in islam on the one hand.
on the other, in islam per se, the concept of purity is also very important
and fundamental. in other words, the true islam resonates and revolves
around it from times immemorial. please allow me to explain this in the
words of the holy scripture.
first of, there is ample evidence in the holy qur'an which shows clearly
that hzt. nabi and imam abraham [as] had pre-existed before his physical
advent. and second, he prayed for the purification of his descendants and
that allah in turn, answered his prayer like so:
ALLAH'S REVELATIONS, PURIFICATION & WISDOM
2:128. our lord! and make us - [abraham and ishmael] - submissive
unto thee and of our seed a nation submissive unto thee, and show us our
ways of worship, and relent toward us. lo! thou, only thou, art the
relenting, the merciful. 2:129. "our lord! send amongst them a messenger of
their own, who shall rehearse thy revelations to them and instruct them in
scripture and wisdom, and sanctify them: for thou art the exalted in might,
the wise."
62: 1. whatever is in the heavens and on earth, doth declare the praises
and glory of allah,- the sovereign, the holy one, the exalted in might, the
wise. 62: 2. it is he who has sent amongst the unlettered a messenger from
among themselves, to rehearse to them his revelations and to sanctify them -
ayatihi wayuzakkeehim -- and to instruct them in scripture and wisdom,
although they had been, before, in manifest--mubiin error;-

2:151. a similar (favour have ye already received) in that we have sent
among you a messenger of your own, rehearsing to you our revelations, and
sanctifying you, and instructing you in scripture and wisdom, and that which
they know not. see also 3:164; etc.

1. please note that in most of the verses cited thus far, allah had
combined the concept of 'allah's revelations and/or purity with
_w_i_s_d_o_m'_ and vice versa. in other words, one is directly linked to the
other. they can not be divorced from each other.
2. we may also conclude that hzt. imam abraham [as] knew about allah's
revelations as well, the primary purpose thereof. says the old testament:
samuel i 2:35 and i - [the lord god] - will raise me up a faithful
priest-- imam, that shall do according to that which is in mine heart and in
my mind: and i will build him a sure house; and he shall walk before mine
anointed for ever.

and it is for this reason that allah had equated the straight path--siraatim
mustaqiim and the right religion or the 'religion of qaim' to the *millati
ibrahiima--religion of abraham [imam].* ref: 2:124-125,129,136; 3:95-97;
4:125; 16:120-123, etc.
006.161 say: lo! as for me [muhammad], my lord hath guided me unto a
straight path, a right religion, the religion of abraham [imam], the
upright, who was no idolater.

it would be fair then to conclude that the holy prophet's [sas] 23 year-old
mission also revolved around the said 'principle of purity.'
i. and because of its divine purpose and explicit recognition in
islam -- the holy prophet [sas] took great pains to not only point out 'his
holy ahl al-bait--household [pbuth] --
ii. but also that 'pure and purified' ahl al-bait [pbuth] was the 'means
of purity and purification' in islam. please review verses 2:129,150; 3:164;
33:33,34 & 62:1-4 in this new light, if you will.
and now this:
9:108. never stand (to pray) there. a place of worship--lamasjidun
which was found upon duty (to allah) from the first day is more worthy that
thou shouldst stand (to pray) therein, wherein are men who love to purify
themselves. allah loveth the purifiers--feehi rijalun yuhibboona an
yatatahharoo waallahu yuhibbu almuttahhireena.

please review the above very carefully, because within every masjid there
are men who love to purify themselves. and allah loves the
purifiers--muttahhariin -- in other words, the holy imams [pbuth].

the identity of ahlul-bayt: umm salama, the wife of our beloved
prophet says, "ayah 33 of surah 33 (al-ahzaab) was revealed to the prophet
(p.b.u.h.) when he was at my house. after this revelation, the messenger of
allah called upon ali, fatima, al-hasan and al-husain to come to him and be
under the mantle with him; then he proclaimed "o' lord, these are my
ahlul-bayt, i implore thee to cleanse them of all stigmas, and to purify
them."
