The great goddess Kali was dancing so furiously that she threatened to
control the whole universe. The gods begged Shiva for help to
overcome the goddess's power. Shiva challenged Kali, to a dance
competition and demanded that they meet in a palace made of gold where
all the gods could see the competition. At first the dance competition
is an even match, with perhaps Kali showing the most versatility.
Shiva, then, drops his earring to the dance floor, reaches down with
his hand and places it on the floor and standing on one hand jumps
around the earring on one hand and each time he jumps off the floor he
claps his hands together. Then he does a head stand with the earring
in the center of his head and spins around. He whirls around so fast
that his robe opens like a flower completely exposing his private
parts. Kali is dazzled by Shiva's performance and realizes that she
cannot or will not expose herself in a similar fashion. She then does
obeisance to Shiva and admits defeat. Shiva then pushes himself off
the floor puts on the earring and springs to his feet.

Then he gives Kali a look and says, "You got served bitch."

WRONG, Anglican Lies.
Shiva and Kali are not Enemies.
Different Versions of the Same thing.
Lotus is the Wadjet of Horous, the "All Seeing Eye" of Kali.

Absolutely wrong do you know that Shiva himself worshiped and ask blessing from maa adi Kali before he could teach maa parvati .simirlary bhagwan Vishnu also worshiped her and ask her blessings. ( reference - yogani tantra) and Brahma worshiped maa adi Kali ( ref - durga shapshati chapter 4 section 1 ).

I read that Kali dances upon Shiva in the cremation ground to
bring forth new fire, and that fire is equated with creativity.
I postulate that Kali’s feet are like the waning and waxing
crescent moons, and the cremation ground ashes are the
low of the 11 year sunspot cycle. I discuss this some on
http://www.nfld.com/~dalton/hindu.html .

But yes, I agree that the avatar type may need the blessing
of the devi type before he can reach his full potential.
