I am interested in learning more about Hinduism. What are the main beliefs?
What is the underlying philosophy of this religion? Is there a structured
doctrine? Forgive me if my questions seem ignorant, but I am hoping to
learn more about Hinduism by asking such questions. I would greatly
appreciate any responses. Thanks in advance. :-D

Basically we understand, that we are not these bodies but eternal
sparks of pure bliss.Thru the influence of illusion and our own
useless material desires we have left the spiritual atmosphere which
is our home where we were in direct contact with the supreme being.

Now that we have obtained these human forms we should all endeavor to
find the truth not merely pursue material ambitions which are stripped
from everyone at death.Like fish out of water we try to find happiness
with this material nature but due to its fickle nature we are subject
to birth death old age and disease. We can never truly be without fear
without taking shelter of Bhagavan or GOD and we Hindus understand
that are many millions of names for god because of the many wonderful
attributes god posesses. Real religion means to love god and all
religions that teach this are bonified and have merit.
The true process of reuniting with the supreme is called Sanatana
Dharma and it is only thru sincerity and humility that will attract
the eyes of the lord.
