VOA - are you people worthy of making Anurodh?
VOA (Voice of America) has recently made some changes in
their programmes. After the change in their programme,
VOA are saying, "Ek anurodh hume suniye VOA Hindi." But
have the VOA people has made themselves worthy of
making such a request. VOA people have right to make
changes in their programs, but are the VOA people
justified in making such anurodh?
In its new format VOA gives weather news of metropolitan
cities of Bharat. This weather program is how useful to
listeners who are scattered all over globe. Nowadays
there are lots of Radio and TV stations in Bharat,
which broadcast local weather forecast all day long on
regular basis. VOA is on the air for a very limited time.
What is the purpose in wasting time on an item, which has
limited value to global listeners? VOA should give only
general trend of weather in Bharat for coming month. It
should be only monthly item. VOA should pick one item in
any news bulletin, then go in detail about that item.
VOA gives sports news on daily basis in its new format as
well. What kind of sports news is covered? To a great
extent, it is usually cricket news; to some extent it may
be hockey or some other news. But do the VOA people know
how many sports games are played in rest of Bharat?
Except for cricket or a few other games, what about other
majority games. Moreover do the VOA people ever go in
depth analysis of any game?
As compared to all the Bharatiya media, Globe and Mail of
Toronto did an excellent job of in depth analysis of
Bharatiya cricket game. According to that paper, cricket
is a multi-million dollar business. According to the
paper, cricket is game less, it is more rackets. In
cricket, corruption is all over; there is match-fixing,
corruption, billions of dollars worth Satta or gambling.
All the cricket players have connections with industry.
All cricket players are for sale and industry people make
bids to use their name on their commercial products. No
media ever mentions that how many productive hours of
Bharatiya industry and government are lost. How cricket
affects other games of Bharat? Cricket is more popular in
Bharat than in England. The reason is there is more money
for players, politicians and media people due to cricket
game in Bharat. Therefore it is duty and dharma of media
people to keep bombarding news about cricket and mention
even smallest details of cricket to Bharatiya people.
Did the VOA or any Bharatiya media ever discuss how many
games are played in Olympic games? In how many games,
Bharat takes part in international games? Where is the
training given to players? In government institutions or
in private institutions. Which are the private
institutions where training is given to players? It is
usually at various Gurukulas. Why efforts are made only
for very few selected games for international games. Why
many games, which are played in international games, are
ignored in Bharat? Due to over emphasis on cricket, most
of the other games have become redundant in Bharat. What
is the primary purpose of a game? Does the Bharatiya
media ever discuss that purpose? Does the cricket meet
that criterion?
The day death anniversary of Smt. Indira Gandhi was
celebrated; the same day was the birthday Sardar Patel.
Nehru Gandhi family has looted Bharat by multi-billion
dollars. All the problems of Bharat are due to Jawahar
Lal Nehru and his Nehru-Gandhi family. This fact has
been expressed by many people and various authors. But
the VOA brought one lady on air from Bharat, who kept
praising the sacrifices of Nehru Gandhi family. Millions
of people have died for Bharat and Nehru Gandhi family
has lived in luxury all their lives. Even the sacrifices
of Nehru Gandhi are praised. What are the sacrifices of
Nehru Gandhi family? Bharat is a united country
nowadays; it is due to the efforts and intelligence of
Sardar Patel. Nehru Gandhi family created Pakistan out of
Bharat. VOA did not mention the name of Sardar Patel in
its programme on its birthday even once.
Did the VOA has less filth and garbage before that they
have collected more filth. All the employees of Hindi
service were using lots of Urdu words in Hindi; the new
recruits are also using lots of Urdu words in Hindi.
When somebody is murdered in Iraq or somewhere else, VOA
always says that Sar kalam kar diya. In Hindi, kalam is
an instrument to write with, but in Urdu kalam is used
also for beheading, which in Hindi is called sar Kaat
diya. I have pointed out the proper use of Sar kalam kar
diya, even then VOA always use the word sar kalam kar
diya in Hindi. Sar kalam kar diya is not a way in saying
in Hindi. BBC Hindi service is one of the worst services
in Hindi. Many times they pick up Muslim correspondents
for Hindi services. These Muslim correspondents use very
difficult Urdu words in Hindi services. Normally these
Muslim correspondents do not know Hindi at all. But when
Urdu service of BBC picks Hindu correspondents for Urdu
service, then these Hindu correspondents speak so
difficult Urdu that they put Muslim correspondents to
shame by speaking excellent and difficult Urdu. BBC Hindi
service should not take services of those correspondents
who do not know proper Hindi. If service of such
correspondent is taken, who does not know proper Hindi,
then that correspondents report should be broadcast
after translating in Hindi. All the time BBC Hindi staff
keeps using such words like Khabre, Surkhiya, Sukriya,
Muddhe, Tahat, and Matahat. These are not Hindi words.
BBC uses lots, lots of Urdu words all the time. By
listening words like sar kalam kar diya, Muddhe, Kabre,
Tahat, Mahool, Surkhiya (Why not media people leave
shurkhiya for ladies make up, use proper Hindi word which
is Sheershak Samachar. BBC uses word Shurkhiya in its
website, which is very annoying). Words like Sukriya,
which are repeated again and again, are not proper Hindi
words. Such words create irritation in listeners.
So far BBC was making irritation, but VOA present Hindi
form and use of lots of Urdu words and broadcasting such
news items, which has less relevalence and are 100% in
Urdu, is making listeners annoyed. BBC Hindi service, VOA
Hindi service and many other media are trying to destroy
Hindi. Any program, which uses defective form of Hindi
and presents poor quality of program, make very annoyed.
VOA has one correspondent Vikram Rao for the last about
15 years, who gives news from Lucknow. He uses about 50%
Urdu words in his Hindi news. He uses so many Urdu words,
as he gives news from Hindi speaking area.
All kinds of Hindi media have no ability to distinguish
between Hindi and Urdu words. All media people must buy
Urdu-Hindi dictionary. After the broadcast of any Hindi
news or program, the whole program must be checked with
the help of dictionary to find out how many Urdu words
were used in Hindi. Then the list of Urdu words used in
the program must be posted on the notice board, so that
other workers may also come to know which Urdu words were
used in Hindi. It must be made compulsory that after
every broadcast, newscasters go through the dictionary
for checking how many Urdu words used in Hindi. This
process must be repeated after every news/ program
broadcast.
In sixties or seventies, Sampurnanad has presented a
report about maintaining the purity of Hindi language in
media. All the Hindi media must adopt that report and
implement it. This report should be Geeta, Ramayan, and
dictionary for every Hindi media. This report should be
thoroughly studied and implemented.
Most of the Hindi media people are "fools or bunch of
idiot people", who keep promoting Urdu and English
languages. All Hindi films and TV programs give cast in
English. Usually the system in whole world is that a film
producer gives cast in the same language in which film is
made. But Hindi film and TV industry is the only
exception in the whole world. Hindi film industry is
declining, even then these people re not making
amendments so far. Nowadays even on video cover, it is
not written that the language of film is Hindi, but it is
written sub title is English, no where it is mentioned
what was original language.
Hindi film or Bharatiya Film industry is becoming
Pornographic industry. Looking at the filth put in the
Hindi films and TV programs, the amount of Urdu and
English words used in spoken Hindi, by not giving cast in
Hindi, it is better if such anti-national and anti-Hindi
industry gets destroyed for ever.
Hindi media people are mentally slave people and they
also spread mental slavery. May be VOA, BBC, Radio German
and many other radio and TV stations, when invite any
Muslim for what so ever reason on the program, then they
convert the Hindi program into Urdu program. It is 100 %
guaranteed that these mental slave people never fail in
showing their mental slavery and speeding mental slavery.
As flocks of sheep stay together, so the media people,
who are promoting Urdu and English languages, are staying
together. Similarly foolish and idiots stay together.
Lions and tigers roam individually, they do not move
around together. So the intelligent and scientist
people have to stay aloof, like I am beating drum for the
purification of Hindi and for the use of Hindi for the
cast of Hindi films, Hindi be written on the levels of
products, on sign boards, on covers of products, on
leaflets, on advertising material. Media people, who use
Urdu and English words in Hindi, have collected some
bookish information, but have not developed intelligence.
All Hindi media people make money on the name of Hindi,
but spread Urdu and English languages. Their first duty
should be to spread, preach and promote Hindi language.
By not promoting Hindi, they are doing bad karma. I
wonder after their death, in what kind of Naraka or hell
Hindi media people would go.
One commentator on VOA after interviewing some public
personalities always say to the person, "Tahe dil se
Sukhriya". I would like to know from that commemorator
who earns money on the name of Hindi where is Hindi in
its sentence. The Hindi expert person should know that
all the words spoken by him in Hindi service are not
Hindi words at all.
I feel sad how Hindi Bhasha is degrading day by day. No
other language like Bangla, Oriya, Assamese, Marathi got
this problem. Hindi language teachers and writers must
work hard to keep the purity of the Hindi Bhasha. Hindi
degenerated during last 4 decades due to entry so many UP
Muslims in Mumbai film industry. Moreover, we Hindus
still are living with Slavish mentality. We Hindus must
regain/revive lost glory of Vedic Sanskrit; it will bring
change to Hindi. We must continue our persistence work.
Why the media persons are mentally slave persons? And why
you people spread mental slavery in Hindu masses? If you
people ever listen to Arabic language program, you people
would find that those people do not use words from
English or any other language.
Hindi media people spread filth, rather than spreading
Hindi. About 2 years ago, one Hindi movie came out called
Aagaaz. I have never heard this word till this movie
came. After this movie, Hindi media people adopted this
word. Since this movie came I have heard or read this
word at least 8 places. No wonder Hindi media spreads
filth. Hindi media people are of mentally slave people.
There exist several equivalent Hindi words to Aagaz
already in Hindi. There is no need of using word Aagaaz
in Hindi, but by not adopting Urdu or English words, how
Hindi media can prove that they are slave people? Radio
and film industry is helping a lot in spreading Urdu and
English in Bharat and polluting Hindi to a very great
extent. See the following report.
One Hindi media person made a comment that if you want to
listen the program, it is up to you people to listen, if
you do not like the program, then do not listen. It is
easy for you to say like this, as your job is safe and
guaranteed, and you are right also. Even then you have no
right to put filth in Hindi, whether a critic person
listens or not. Whether somebody listens or not, you have
to use pure Sanskritnist Hindi, free from Urdu and
English words.
VOA should give at least 3 different news bulletins, one
in the morning, one in the afternoon or evening time, one
at nighttime.
If the programmed is good, free of filth of Urdu and
English languages, of good quality, then people would
listen it even without the request. At one time VOA was
slightly better as compared to other radio stations, but
recently after making changes in its programs and with
new recruits on staff, VOA Hindi service has become worse
as compared to other radio stations.

Radio popularising Urdu
Indraprasth - Jamia Millia Islamia has been making its
own contributions towards popularising Urdu. The
university has been offer ring a short correspondence
course for three decades that could be completed in as
much time as one wishes on a modest fee of a little over
Rs 50. The course has now been incorporated into the new
Center for Distance and Open Learning and the admission
to the course is open throughout the year in English and
Hindi mediums.
The Director of the Urdu Correspondence, Mohammad Mian
said that there has been an increase in the interest for
the language in recent years, especially after the launch
of private radio and TV channels, which are making
people, listen to more Urdu and learn the language. Now
people are realizing the sweetness of the language.
The course is designed for students who don’t have any
previous knowledge of Urdu. Beginning with the
recognition of alphabets, the course moves on to the
formation of simple to complex words and then to the
formation of simple and complex sentences. It takes about
40 classes for students before they start reading
paragraphs.
