been, and are, the Indian atheists. Dedicated materialists, hedonists
and opportunists who did not bother to make any official change to
their sectarian affiliation make up the Hindu atheists, and could be

Anyone *vedic* has to be polytheistic.
So any atheist has to be anti-vedic. Since genuine brahmins have the
highest regard for the Vedas, they must be the target for the
atheists.
