And why should this be? God itself is not logical so why should any
path to God necessarily be?
Take ECKANKAR for example. Here's a path that has someone called the
"Living ECK Master". Now if you've just left Christianity or any other
path how can you be certain that he isn't a charlatan or some devious
Soul after your money?
Well, a good starting point to resolving this question could lie with
the simple word HU. To fall back on personal experience: I'd had many
experiences with the Light and Sound of God simply by singing HU, knew
from personal experience that I could leave the body in full
consciousness via Soul Travel but still had doubts about the Living
ECK Master. So, one night I sang the word HU all the while asking: "Is
Harold Klemp really the Living ECK Master?". The experience I had
later that night was sufficient to quell all doubt for ever. Why?
Because the experience was beyond the realm of the mind.
Similarly, if we have any questions about Paul's motives for writing
this, that or the other in the early works of ECK, we can simply ask
old Peddar Zasq himself. How? At bedtime we can chant our secret word,
HU and "Peddar Zasq" then visualise ourselves in a library with the
man himself. We can pose the question in our hearts then visualise
waking up the next morning satisfied with the answer. Once done, we
can then surrender the whole situation to the ECK and wait to see what
occurs later in the dream state.
It is what it is. It can, as you suggest below, ask and answer questions.
It's the mind that can become enlightened. Still, exceeding that is a
consciousness which the mind can not access. Soul just Is.
Yes, these are a good starting point Signon.
It's my experience that the mind can never be satisfied, but it can become
content by using these kinds of spiritual exercises. Niggling questions are
a distraction from spiritual enlightenment. Getting control of the mind with
spiritual exercises targeted at expanding consciousness allows more and more
direct perception of the Light and Sound.
Nicely worded, IMO. Especially the first sentence.
I was impressed.
