I did look at bits of the videos, too impatient to listen all the way
through. I'm not into sermons/lectures and the sound quality was
low. I thought it good that children were involved. They're the
future. And, whereas, I'd be suspicious of anyone involved in the
a.r.d flamewar instructing children, I think it's good to get them out
in nature and on a sacred site. Children frequently have more
effective b.s. detectors than adults do.
What I liked more were just the silent camera views of the hilltop.

The videos were not so much meant to be entertainment as proof that
Con Connor was in fact on Tara for Solstice and that Michael McGrath
was, as is usual, lying. That aside, I think if you want to include
references to 'instruction' and 'sermons' in your comment you should
first of all watch the three videos fully so that you can verify it is
not about lecturing or instructing anybody other than to outline the
drum and dance proceedure.
Con starts off by saying, 'this is just for fun'. It is not meant to
be a profound ritual or a ceremony. That took place at sunrise, as far
as I know. This would be the usual time for druids on this side of the
Atlantic to perorm ceremony for solstice. The drum and dance meeting
in the afternoon was just for fun and it would be foolish to judge it
as anything more.
It allows people who turn up as individual visitors to participate and
feel linked to the time and place. Some water was taken from the holy
well and some children poured it on quartz rocks that Con had
collected on his travels around Ireland. His gift to all. No charge!
Con was simply acting as a facilitator for the drum and dance circle.
No Charge! Anyone is free to act in that function, it is not some
pompous 'Archdruid of Ireland and Tara' supremacist crap trying to
lecture and lord it over 'ordinary druids/people'.
As for your opinion that Con should not have anything to do with
children becuase he has stood by his right to defend himself against
the incessant lies and threats of McGrath then I cannot agree. In
fact, as you can see in those videos many parents who know Con a lot
better than anyone here have no problem with him at all. I think what
his friends and neighbours think is a better reference that the
opinion of a muppet like Charles who bases all he knows on the highly
prejudicial lies of McGrath.
Ireland is a small country and if there were any truth in anything
McGrath has alleged about Con Connor then Con would be well shunned.
In fact the opposite is the case. Con is welcomed to facilitate the
drum and dance and interact with children, while McGrath has to
satisfy himself with lying to you all here and spending solstice in
his rotten hovel in Kilkenny. McGrath is the one who is shunned, no
matter what lies he can make you all believe in Cyberland.
Why don't you come to Ireland and judge for yourself? Go and visit
McGrath and you will see for yourself the 'Wizard of Odd' who has been
portraying himself as a real person when in fact he is nothing but a
wretch. See the magnificant person who has been telling you of his
'Palladial home', guitar, dog, car and million euro job. Then go and
visit Con and his family in the hills of Roscommon. And if you arrange
it, you may even be able to meet me or some of my family and see that
I am neither Con or Dwyer.
Children are the future and while it is good to nurture the future it
is a cop out to substitute hope for a brighter future in the place of
what we can actually do in the present. Lets put the future behind us
and live in this moment. Have patience to see what is in front of your
eyes.

I think you should post it because you want to share your activities with
us, and igonore whosits' fantasies. I don't mind lectures or instuctions
but I don't need to listen to them after the fact. I listened to enough to
get an impression of the group, which seemed to have a good feel and
there seemed to be a good response to the speaker

That could be a very wise statement or a very stupid one. I hesitate
to judge you based your previous contributions. I feel we should all
be allowed the opportunity to reevaluate our opinions. So that I could
better appreciate your opinion you should perhaps clarify instead on
making what appears to be a smear on all those who are not you or
Elaine. It didn't look like the children on Tara were too ashamed of
Con Connor to me. I know his own children are very proud of him and so
am I. On the contrary for you Charles because you have brought shame
on yourself by entertaining the McGrath. You have shamed yourself with
a display of you inability to discriminate the truth from blatant
lies. Then when the truth and the lies have been made clear you have
shamefully declined to apologise for you assumption, based on the
lies. Not 'half-lies' and 'half-truths', but outright lies versus the
facts.
If you talk of posterity judging us to our shame then I think you

I was wondering how you rationalized your actions here. It seems that
you are balancing some assumed 'victory' over McGrath with the harm
done to others and ignoring the harm you are doing to your self. You
seem to think you are immune and that others don't count in your
greater scheme of things. It's my opinion that you are very wrong on
all points and that your behavior has exactly the opposite impact to
what you intend.
You are undermining your actions in every way by pronouncing a geis
and then having no confidence in it. One would think that there was
little truth to it at all. You call down on your self the results of

My expert dates it as having been shot five years ago,.
In 2004, but he can't determine the actual date in that year except to
say that it was probably shot in Spring or Autumn ( Fall) of that
year.

I'm still catching up hence the mostly quiet from this end except for a few
short posts. This latest batch of crossposters (despite being asked to
stop--they seem to thrive on the attention and discord--sound familiar?) are
also candidates for the killfile.

Uuh yes... all that x-posted rubbish from arw and an gets tossed without
saying. LOL! with a supply like ours, who needs imported flame wars...
