I expect I'd best get over to Ireland soon as I'm 60+ right now. The
men in my family usuall have another 15 to 20 productive years of life
after that. My father is 86+ and still getting around pretty well.
If I have the good fortune to meet Ambassador Rooney while I'm working
in the Washington D.C. area I'll consider myself as fortunate.
Not ever Irishman has to be a dignitary to be famous, Here's a fellow
who is a great example to all:
I met the gentleman in the Berkshire Mountains of Western
Massachusettes. He is quite a fellow. He's exactly like the main
character in his book (himself) and a joy to share a pint or three
with.
The Berkshires are a magical place, a kind of art colony, resort and
factory town area all at the same time. Their summers are brief but
glorious. Their winters are colder than the Cailleach's teat!
