Whether it's true or not shouldn't be your greatest concern either;
the real question is why?
IF it wasn't true, a person would have had to make the story up
against their conscience of truth. They would only do this if they
really hated Joanne Brokaw and/or Scott A Knight; and there thus must
be some sort of connection between the two (even if not sexual). After
all, despite both these figures are in the public arena; fora
journalist to have a story written about her, is quite a serious
issue. This is a concern for the cross-promotion of advertising
material, and thus independence of media. We all know why media should
be independent (just look at the Chinese government censoring issues).
IF it was true, we are of the same level of concern; because between
Christians, this shouldn't occur. It's Sinful, disgusting, and wrong.
Like you, I really don't know whether the allegations are true - but
now it's up to you to decide your perspective of the story.
The unwillingless of either party to comment on the issue however, may
be a clear sign that they are having negotiations to use some sort of
legal tool to "cover up".
And my look at it is, either way, I'm concerned about both Joanne
Brokaw and Scott A Knight (Provident Records).
