The loathsome American Family Assn., based in Tupelo, Mississippi, got
egg on its face worldwide on July 7, 2008 when CNN revealed that those
bigoted nitwits did THIS:

It seems that the American Family Association (which is neither of the
first two words of its name) has banned the use of the word, "gay" in its
news site, "OneNewsNow." These bigots reject this word, and substitute,
"homosexual" in all useage. Automatically, using software.
So one can imagine the silly results.
According the Washington Post, OneNewsNow ran their "processed" AP
sports story about an athlete who has qualified for the Beijing Olympics:
Tyson Homosexual was a blur in blue, sprinting 100
meters faster than anyone ever has. His time of 9.68
seconds at the U.S. Olympic trials Sunday doesn't count
as a world record, because it was run with the help of a
too-strong tailwind. Here's what does matter: Homosexual
qualified for his first Summer Games team and served notice
he's certainly someone to watch in Beijing.
"It means a lot to me," the 25-year-old Homosexual said.
"I'm glad my body could do it, because now I know I have it
in me."
Nobody could make up anything funnier or more damning about
fundies than the stuff they do themselves.

I *first* ran across that LOON, Donald Wildmon, in about 1975,
when, at the very BEGINNING of his career as a mindless bigot, he
proposed a "Turn Off the Television Week." Whereupon I wrote
letters to major upstate New York newspapers (where I then lived)
and made a LAUGHINGSTOCK out of him over that ludicrous notion.
I've actively opposed him (and OFTEN have given him quite a
WELL-deserved hard time) ever since, in many media outlets.
He is so DUMB ("How dumb is he, Johnnie?") -- he is SO dumb,
that he once *boycotted* a person's business just because the man
*verbally* disagreed* with him on some issue as the met at a store-
front. WHAT a loony JERK!
(I wish he'd get around to boycotting ME sometime. I'd probably
clean up from all the free publicity!)
