Well its 1900 years later and his prophecy was NOT FULFILLED
lets see what the Bible has to say about Prophets whose prophecy is not
fulfilled
Deut 18:22 says you should not be afraid of that prophet and
Deut 18:20 says that the prophet should be put to death
Also in Mark 14:27 Jesus the Craphead Christ also uses a old testament
prophecy found in Zech 13:7 to justify himself
that Prophecy is "I will smite the Shepard and the sheep will scatter"
well the whole context of that verse is a prophecy agaisnt false prophets
wich begins in Zech 13:2 and goes to the end of the chapter
So if the Craphead Christ had in fact fulfilled Zech 13:7 as he claimed he did
in
Mark 14:27 , then all he would be doing is proving himself to be a false
prophet
and a enemy of God
No wonder JC got himself crucified, He did not die for the worlds sins
he died for his own.

Nah, Mark 13:32 says that JC doesn't know when - even "the Son"
doesn't know when. This is a discrepancy in Mark's text which you
seem unaware of. Moreover, Mark thinks that the prophecy has been at
least partially fulfilled: immediately after JC says that "some now
standing here will see the kingdom come with power" (Mark 9:1) there
follows the transfiguration scene - the first manifestation of the
kingdom coming in power. So, according to Mark, this prophecy was
fulflled within the lifetimes of "some standing here."

biblio the Craphead phile is unaware that JC probably never
interpreted his death in terms of the Hebrew Bible, and that the NT
writers' use of Zech 13 is a usage of the Jewish xian community, not
of JC himself. If it's misapplied, it is misapplied by the community,
who were promoting JC as a true, not a false, prophet.
But is it misapplied? After all, Mark has been using Zech all along
to interpret JC: Zech 9:9 = Mark 11:1-10: "Shout aloud O Daughter of
Jerusalem: your king comes o you triumphant and victorious...riding on
a colt." Zech 9:11 = Mark 14:24: "the blood of my covenant with you."
Mark's use of Zech 13 is to ironically portray JC as the "worthless"
shepherd who is struck down, because JC's suffering makes him assume
that role, as he can no longer protect the sheep, a role only to be
reversed after the resurrection. Mark 6:34 has JC pitying the crowd
because they are like sheep without a shepherd - which is very close
to the _positive_ view of shepherd in Zech 11:4-14, where God raises
up a good shepherd. Further, when the disciples fled ("scattered")
away from Jesus so that they were no longer "sheep of one flock", Zech
continued to be a handy interpretive text.

No prophet claiming to be a true prophet would be stupid enough to
misappropriate a prophecy. At worst, Mark misappropriated it, but
probably it's not a misappropriation after all. Perhaps the true
Craphead here is really bibliophile.

In context, Jesus is talking about the prophetic signs that will take place
to signal that we are in the end-times that precede His return.
The "generation" that he refers to in the above passage is not easily
defined. However, it is not the people who heard that prophecy at that time.
Most bible scholars on prophecy that I have read indicate that the
"generation" that will still be in existance at the time of His return is
the generation that sees the "fig tree" come into blossom that is mentioned
in verse 32. The fig tree represents the nation of Israel. Jesus and the
Old Testament prophets predicted that Israel and its capital Jerusalem would
be destroyed and its citizens scattered throughout the world. However,
Ezekiel and Jesus also predict that Israel would once again be restored as
an independent nation, and exist as such, at the time that He returns. The
fig tree blossoming is representative of national Isreal being
re-established again. Israel was destroyed as a nation in A.D. 70 by Titus
of Rome. The citizens were scattered throughtout the world for over 1900
years. Israel was re-established as an independent Jewish nation again in
May 1948, and Jerusalem was back under Jewish control in 1967. Thus, the
fig tree started to blossom in 1948. The promise is believed to mean that
the many of the people who were alive at the time of Isreal's rebirth as a
nation will still be on earth when Jesus Christ returns.
