The leader of the Catholic church in England denies media claims that
he deliberately allowed at least eight paedophile priests to abuse
children. In the eyes of many this news will do serious and
irreparable damage to the Catholic church, for better or worse,
whether true or not. Is this another case of 'trial by media'?
