Joseph was born in 1800b.c. at the age of 17 or 1700 years. 4b.c. Christ is
born. At the age of 30 Joseph went before Pharaoh and he said, "Though
shalt be over my house and according unto thy word shall all my people be
ruled: only in the throne will I be greater than though." Subtracting 17
from 30 is 13, 4b.c. add 13 years is 9a.d. when Christ is at the temple.
Now, Joseph was put in a pit as was Christ. The Ishmeelites brought Joseph
into Egypt just as Paul, Timothy, and others brought Christ into Rome.
The Egyptian's wife put Joseph into prison as Rome's pagan religion put
Christ's word in prison. Common people had no access to the scriptures.
They even made Latin the official language of the church and also translated
the scriptures into Latin so the world could not possibly understand.
Now 13 or 1300 years after Christ the first English versions of the entire
Bible were associated with the work of John Wyclif, 1320-1384a.d. This
brings us to the 7 years of plenty or the 700 years of plenty up to the year
2000a.d.+.
Oh yes about the baker and butler. The baker who puts the ingredients and
seasonings into bake and the butler who straightens up for the King and
fills his cup with saved ones. Joseph told them after 3 days or 3000 years
the baker would die and the butler would go on to serve. Joseph was born in
1800b.c. and was in prison when he was 28. 1800 subtract 28 is 1772b.c.
subtract 3000 years is 1228a.d. The chapter divisions are usually
attributed to Stephen Langton, Archbishop of Canterbury, in England.
Langton died in 1228a.d. but his work is still helping us.
Gen 41:50-51
And unto Joseph were born two sons before the years of famine came, which
Aserah priest of On bare unto him. And Joseph called the name of the first
born Manaseh: For God, said he, hath made me forget all my toil, and all my
father's house.
His father's house being Rome, and the son being Luther's German Lutheran
church.
Gen 41:52
And the name of the second called he Ephraim: For God hath caused me to be
fruitful in the land of my affliction.
This son is England who was very fruitful in most all lands. They even lead
us to America. Read what Jacob has to say about Ephraim and Manasseh in Gen
48:8-22.
I know that a lot of Christians believe that the rapture will take place
before the 7 years of judgment or famine, but that is not what this is
saying.
Gen 41:53-57
And the seven years of plenteousness, that was in the land of Egypt, were
ended. And the seven years of dearth began to come, according as Joseph had
said: and the dearth was in all lands; but in all the land of Egypt there
was bread. And when all the land of Egypt was famished, the people cried to
Pharaoh for bread: and Pharaoh said unto all the Egyptians, Go unto Joseph;
what he saith to you, do. And the famine was over the face of the earth:
And Joseph opened all the storehouses, and sold unto the Egyptians; and the
famine waxed sore in the land of Egypt. And all countries came into Egypt
to Joseph for to buy corn; because that the famine was so sore in all lands.
Gen 42:1-3
Now when Jacob saw that there was corn in Egypt, Jacob said unto his sons,
Why do ye look one upon another? And he said, Behold, I have heard that
there is corn in Egypt: get you down thither, and buy for us from thence;
that we may live and not die. And Joseph's ten brethren went down to buy
corn in Egypt.
The ten virgin churches. Joseph picked 5 of his 10 brothers to go and meet
Pharaoh just as Christ will take 5 of the virgin churches to meet God.
