I have not been a frequent correspondent of late but that does not mean that
I am not still there on the side-lines enjoying what others write.
Cor, my husband, and I are going to Israël at the end of next month. It had
seemed it would be a quieter period there but that no longer seems the case.
But we never were under the illusion that the 'road map' would bring peace.
We just don't see that in the Bible. But I am sure you know that just as
well as we do! As I read the contributions then I know that there are fine
brothers and sisters over there in the U.S.A. who long as we do to see Jesus
become King.
But now my reason for writing this: last year we were in Israël too and
someone in the group gave our e-mail address to a certain Michael Millier in
Jerusalem and he invited us to visit him there. It was only a shame that we
didn't get the invitation until we were home again. Now I have sent him an
e-mail to let him know we are coming again and would love to meet him. I
sent that mail several weeks ago and repeated it but have had no reply.
Maybe he has a new address. Is there maybe someone reading this who knows
him?
With warm greetings to you all in Jesus,
Gretta

Zane,

I believe Michael, whom Gretta is looking for, is part of the HC listserve.
He is a friend of Link Hudson and I am certain Link can get in touch with
him.

Can you, Zane, forward this request to Link? He should be able to put Gretta
and Michael Miller in touch.

Mike

Consider it done, bro. Link is unpacking in Indonesia, the last I heard.
Perhaps he can drop by or reply.

Thanks for sharing with us, Gretta, and for all your kind words of
encouragement. I know that many of us do pray for the Lord Jesus to take up
residence as King in Jerusalem soon, and to set the world in proper order.
But many things may get worse before they get better. The night will
continue to darken until the darkness seems complete, but then the dawn will
change everything forever.

Until the dawn is fully visible, we can remember what the Spirit thru John
said, ". . . the darkness is passing away, and the true light is already
shining." (1 John 2:8b)

Hope you find Mike Miller soon, with the help of others. The Lord also
bless you real good, Sister.

Jim

Thank you so much! Isn't it lovely to have friends around the world!
We had planned to go to Ireland this autumn to visit my 92 year old father
but the Lord gave me the tekst from Isaiah 40: 'Comfort ye, comfort ye my
people'. When I looked it up in its context I read further: 'Speak tenderly
to Jerusalem and tell her that her sad days are gone.....'
Then we discovered that other family members are visiting my father around
the same time so opening the way to go to Israėl.
The Lord is good but we feel it is also a whole responsibility. We hope too
to bless Arab and possibly Lebanese christians who suffer so much. Anyhow
we shall see.
