Why do you preach to a choir?

It is not living that in itself is important,
but to live a righteous life.

You are a fool.
I - myself - do not read any of robt's bible quotes.
Either they are accurate....
Or his interpretation is faulty.
I don't need to waste my time on either.

I understand. Let me just say that anyone new here has likely been
chased away or afraid to speak out. Christianity really doesn't deserve
the bad reputation that it's "followers" have earned it.

Time to bid you goodbye. I'm gone.

I agree with you on the many falsehoods in the church but like you
I have hoped that a few would listen...but their hearts have been
hardened and their ears turned away from the LORD.

I'm going to hangout in acc quietly, do some meditating and praying
and maybe at some point new people will come to replace the old ones
that no longer listen.

Sad, God will let them have what they want.

Excellent news to the RCC.
You may lurk all you want, but please don't insult other christians
(as robt does) with his false interpretaions of Holy Scripture.
God loves us all.

Why do you judge others?
Real Christians worship Jesus, our Savior.
And then there is you - who likes to point fingers at others who don't
follow his false interpretation of the scriptures.

Good quote, robt.
Listen up and apply this to yourself: For all your woofing, you have
never been able to prove your false allegations, yet you chose to bear
false witness against another.

You quote scripture but it does NOT back up your claims.
This is your main problem.
Let me explain: James 3 3 When we put bits into the mouths of
horses to make them obey us, we can turn the whole animal. 4 Or take
ships as an example. Although they are so large and are driven by
strong winds, they are steered by a very small rudder wherever the
pilot wants to go. 5 Likewise, the tongue is a small part of the body,
but it makes great boasts. Consider what a great forest is set on fire
by a small spark. 6 The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among
the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole body, sets the whole
course of one’s life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell.

>It appears that you accept and believe the scripture about as much as most

It appears?
It appears?
7 All kinds of animals, birds, reptiles and sea creatures are being
tamed and have been tamed by mankind, 8 but no human being can tame
the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison.

Good answer. Good answer.

>I bear no false witness against any man.

13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let them show it by their
good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom. 14
But if you harbor bitter envy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do
not boast about it or deny the truth. 15 Such “wisdom” does not come
down from heaven but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic. 16 For where
you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every
evil practice.
