Perhaps you should get a "red letter" New Testament.
You might learn something.

It is a hoot. Robert, after declaring that all who came before
him are following the "traditions of men", is quite surprised when his
questions are treated in accordance with scripture: "Answer the fool
according to his folly..."

Like I said, Robert feels that what he has received his special
confirmation of must be the answer to his question "What exactly
didJesus want men to preach and teach?" And of course, none other has
his special insight, especially those who "claim" to still be
following what the Apostles taught.

Monotheism, someone has said, offers two simple axioms:
1) There is a God.
2) It's not you.

It is just the words of Jesus highlighted, why is that a problem for
fundamentalists, be they catholic or protestant? Those who follow
paulianity and reject Jesus teachings are not followers of Jesus.
Those that have hate-filled churches and many do, the RCC is just the
oldest hate-filled Christian/pagan church.

I find it interesting that it does seem that the only ones who
worship Mary are the devote Protestants (Reformed) who are adamant
that they don't.
I find it sad, that in their "Romaphobia", they denigrate the
mother of the person they claim is their Lord and Savior. Meh.

Isn't Jer in the Old Testament? What does it have to do with Mary,
the Mother of Jesus? do you follow and believe the OT? I thought you
claimed we were not under the Old Covenant. Christian (including
Catholics) do not follw the OT for beliefs in Chrstianity.
Didn't you know this?

Do you follow the OT rules? Do you refuse eating raw meat or pork or
shell?sh, Do you execute people for breaking the Sabbath, not wearing
garments woven with two kinds of material?

Do you pick and choose which rules to follow.

Why do you think Jer is speaking about about Mary, the mother of
Jesus.

Throughout his ministry, Jesus ignored Old Testament regulations
regarding puri?cation; he touched lepers and dead bodies, and declared
all foods “clean.” The culmination of Jesus’ ministry made clear his
reason for doing this. When he died on the cross, the curtain in the
temple tore in two, demonstrating that the entire sacri?cial system
and its ceremonial laws had been done away with. It is Jesus, the
ultimate sacri?ce for sin, not the laws of the Old Testament, that
makes us clean now.

27 As Jesus was saying these things, a woman in the crowd raised her
voice and said, “Blessed is the womb that bore You, and blessed are
the breasts that nursed You!” 28 But He replied, “Blessed rather are
those who hear the word of God and obey it.”…

Alas, poor Robert. Projects his religion onto everyone else. Has
no examples of the Christian life to serve as role models. Nor
apparently does he believe that there is life after death (except
possibly in some long off far future.) Maybe he's never read the
story of Lazarus and the Rich man?

he says so?

Robert doesn't read his bible too closely, does he. Or he might
have noticed that whole part about "Behold the handmaiden of the
Lord."
As for the second - one could say that Mary's willingness to "Let
it be as my Lord has said" does make our salvation possible.
Oh, and the only people who believe that the rest of Jesus'
siblings were the product of Joseph and Mary are Protestants who, to
be polite, just do not grasp the concept of a Holy Thing, set aside
from the Common by the Lord God Almighty.

Not only was "the mother who gave [him] birth and nursed [him]"
important, but so were those who "heard the Word of God and kept it".
You know, as Mary had done.

The thing that you haven't learned yet is that men wrote
the bible. There is no evidence to suggest that it was dictated to
them by God. The bible reflects the thinking of the men that wrote
the books and the life that they led, hence it comes of no surprise
that the actions of their God reflects their kind of thinking.

Robert...if God has to resort to murder to deal with
problematic people then He is no wiser than any of us.

If one claims that His ways are higher than ours yet he resorts
to murder, perhaps He is not as Holy and all knowing as you seem
to believe that He is.

It's only common sense, Robert. You cannot have your cake
and eat it too.

I'm sorry, but resorting to violence to resolve an issue
does not show extreme intelligence. What it demonstrates
is a God lowering Himself to the ways of men to deal with
a problem.

The oath is strange if any on the Supreme Court have taken it and
still serve in government of USA. What is foremost in their minds the
US Constitution or Catholic doctrines and traditions.

"I pledge myself, as a Catholic citizen and l Knight of Columbus, to
enlighten myself fully upon my duties as a citizen and to

country and regardless of all personal consequences."

How and to what degree is the term Catholic citizen used?

Of course not. It was seemingly religious men who bequeathed her with that

God turned the previous religious people who sought to follow after the queen

look at their outcome. And if you study Catholicism you will find that they
substituted Mary for a pagan woman god that they could worship her similar to

Jesus is the everlasting Father, Jesus is God, Jesus is the Lord.

Rom 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were
YET sinners, Christ died for us.

Jeremiah 10:23 O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it
is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.

"To seek your own will is to seek your own glory."

"If God is not first in everything He is not first in anything."

"Sin is not what you do, it is what you are."

"What makes the bible the truth? The resonance of God."

"All men were born sinners. Why? Because all men were born not loving
God with all their heart, soul and mind. An abomination."

"Compromise will condemn you."

"There are no sinners in Christ Jesus."

"My sons are born of Me. In them is no darkness at all."

"You can't learn righteousness. Haven't you had enough time already to
know that?"

"The way of truth is the testimony of life."

"I merely speak the truth, what is revealed to me, and the cards fall
where God intends."

"Nothing that is produced is produced without first being faith."

"You can only find proof of God through faith because that is how we all
live, by faith."

"It is not what you do that matters, it is how you treat Me."

"Keep going forward. Forget about the past. Lift up your head, look
ahead."

"You cannot be free with guilt in your heart."

"Priority is everything."

"The truth doesn't need evidence, it is evidence."

"There is no greater possession a man has than his own will, to squander
it or to place it where it truly belongs."

"An atheist is a fool who thinks truth is found in living a lie."

"Saying "prove it" [as a foundation] is merely an ignorant straw man, to
an ignorant straw man."

"Wait, rest, be still, and know."

"No man can wash his own hands!!!"

"I find this in the Christianity religions: 'Nobody's perfect' they say,
and they use that as an excuse not to do what is perfect."

The Atheist: "They don't believe and put their faith in a Creator (the
obvious). So no evidence and proof is to be found!!"

"The world is the way it is because God can't compromise who He is."

"Man is not the centre of being."

"Man is incompatible with the natural world because of his sinful nature."

"And then the Lord said, "I see everything."

"Man has no greater idol than his own will."

"Where is God hiding? He isn't."

"If you don't keep all the scriptures, you can't keep any of them."

"You can't prove anything because everything depends on a person's
willingness to believe."

I don't know about what Patrick has done, but I have read it. But
God was not speaking of Mary as His target. The egyptians did worship
Osiris as God and ISIS as the queen of Heaven, and the Hebrews took up
that worship, even after having left egypt. This is what the verse is
speaking of in my opinion.

The problem is that the title Queen of Heaven began in Mesopotamia
with the 200 hundred fallen angels that passed themselves off as
Gods, hence the Mesopotamian "Kings list". It was during this period
that a hybrid human female was chosen to be the consort of Anu as
the original "Queen of Heaven". When the Hebrew left the region many
went to egypt and took this worship and title with them.

Yes, you are correct as I replied to you on this earlier in this thread.
There is more than just one verse on this topic there is also a whole segment
speaking in detail about the outcome of all of this, and as I said to Patrick
that title of Queen of Heaven was also chosen by the RCC and the Orthodox,
plus others and given to or placed on Mary, and they, like the Hebrews, took
it from pagan sources back in that day and blended it into their doctrines as
they typically do with foreign gods when seeking to integrate others into
their religions. This is also why we have the "easter" event and holiday,
Christmas, etc. etc.

The point I was trying to make, which is obvious in the Bible, is that God
did not like the term, the title, or the worship given to others that belongs
to Him.

Part of the problem with the RC difficulty in accepting this fact is their
denial of the simple fact that Mary in no longer a virgin, had other children
by her husband Joseph, as I identified in the NT. She IS blessed above all
women, as the Bible states, yet she is woman, made for man.

Two things here.
1. Some dorks here (robt) feel that the Bible was written by God.
+ If this is so, why would he mention some pagan woman?
2. Mary, Mother of Jesus, is not Isis, never was.
And if someone wants to call her Queen of heaven, why does anyone
care? No one has ever been there and come back. No one knows what is
happening there. I am aware that the Knights of Columbus has a

It is beginning to look more and more as if Nimrod and Gilgemish are

and apparently they both claim Inanna as their mother and deity.

On the flip side, the tomb of Gilgemish was found in a shallow portion
of the Euphrates river by a team of German archeologists but was taken over
and ran out by a team from the US Army, according to the Germans.

Things associated with this keep getting weirder and weirder.

That wasn't the question.
Do you think all those brits worship their dead queen?

The VA is slow in everything they do. I picked up the prescription,
and wiill PAY for a pair in the next few days. Maybe 2 pairs - one
prescription sun glasses. Although, the last pair I purchased at
Sam's Club cost me $200.00+

You have to be guilty of a sin before you must repent.

Are you claiming that Paul and John died once, went to heaven, and
then were recalled back to earth?
BTW, dying and being brought back to life is NOT dying, going to
heaven, and then coming back to earth.
You are wierd.

You miss the point Patrick. Isis is not a goddess
AND the title Queen of Heaven belongs to Inanna,
who was promiscuous to say the least. Now, do you want
to assign that title, sullied as it is to the mother
of God??

Years ago, you always wanted to know the ship name, date of sailing
androom number. I guess you have decided that you can't afford to
take a cruise.

I doubt that. As for taking a cruise, why are you bragging about
that? As for taking a cruise going to Alaska isn't a big deal. Wife
still wants to go down to OZ so I'd prefer a New Zealand cruise.
Though that is still a year or more away.

Now again I ask what is you point in all this?
