1. He's been outted by a bishop of his jurisdiction, +Tikhon (now
retired).
2. The bitchslapping he received on the campus of St. Vladimir's
Orthodox Revisionist theological Seminary seriously messed up his head.
3. To his everlasting mental stress, no bishop wanted to ordain him to
the Holy Priesthood because of his seminary reputation. Ordination
would have made his late father, the Very Rev. Nicholas (Kobzareff)
Kobbs, a 1943 graduate of SVOTS, very proud.
4. Kobbs must have had a traumatic childhood since he refuses to
acknowledge that his father ever existed.
5. Without the priesthood, Kobbs turned to executive recruiting, a
lucrative profession, and became vice president of a company called the
Cambridge Group. It, unfortunately, went belly up due to miserably poor
business decisions.
6. Nick, who lives amid the very wealthy in Stamford, CT, at the
polluted end of Long island Sound, has trouble (say his neighbors)
making ends meet, leading to much mental stress and pain. He has often
been seen at the welfare office taking advantage of the USDA's free
cheese and butter program for those desperate to re-establish
themselves.
7. Growing up in Ohio, Nick had to attend the Arab church (Antiochian
Archdiocese) where his father was assigned by the OCA, and there
learned to hate Jews and Israel.
He needs our sympathy. Let's all send him a get well or best wishes
card (50 cents at the dollar store) at 199 Pepper Ridge Rd, Stamford,
CT 06905. Or, let's call him at 203-322-2414 and extend to him our
prayers.
Additionally, Nick attends Holy Assumption Church 141 Den Rd, Stamford,
CT 06903 where, I'm told, Nick is just a soft-spoken sweetheart of a
guy. It is obvious that Nick takes the frustrations of his life out on
the rest of the world through this chat group. We could suggest to his
priest, Rev. Vladimir Horoszczak, that prayers for Nick be added to the
Proskomedie prayer list before Divine Liturgy each Sunday. Father can
be reached at 203-329-9933; Email: vlad...@sbcglobal.net.
Respectfully and lovingly submitted, with sincere hopes for Nick's
conversion.
***I hit the nail on the head. You cannot help but antagonize. THAT is
sick.
