I did a search in Google for "hindu fascists" as someone pointed out.
Learnt more than I want to know! Then, I thought, "How pathetic!".
There are fascists in every religion.

But, let us assume that many of the people ranting and raving about
their religion, regardless of what it is, are intelligent, reasonable,
rational people.

It is a known fact that Hinduism, Islam, and Christianity all have
common threads - it is a matter of faith, their Holy books were handed
down from the time when not a single one living currently on the
planet was alive (so, we all depend on facts handed down to us), none
of them can look up and actually see their gods. Not a single Hindu,
Christian or Moslem today has seen his god.

So, why is there so much hate mongering going in these newsgroups?
Hate actually starts eating people from within - ulcers, et al, can
all be traced back to the hormones secreted during these rages.
Despite all the name-calling, all the spurious posts people scour from
the web and post here, and the injustices being pointed out
perpetrated by some of each religion, life goes on. Nobody's faith is
swayed at the end of the day. It will never change using these kinds
of posts, anyway!

Can't the energy and TIME being wasted by the religious naysayers and
hate advocates be channeled into something useful, and I am sure there
are many colorful subjects one can discuss, starting with Indian
politics, the most colorful of them all...
