Now I'm sure that Vera will respond and claim that
I'm an Anti-Semite and that I hate Jews, but since
Vera is an "Anti-Gentite", even though she's not
Jewish (she simply worships them) and since I have
her kill filed, it won't bother me any. :)
Besides, remember, I was only the messenger and
even Jewish women, who aren't fear mongerers
who think that the world is out to get them, do find

Jewish Women:
1) The Harvard School of Medicine did a study of why
Jewish women like Chinese food so much. The study
revealed that this is due to the fact that "Won Ton"
spelled backward is "Not Now".
2) There is a big controversy on the Jewish view of when
life begins. In Jewish tradition, the fetus is not
considered viable until it graduates from medical school.
3) Q: Why don't Jewish mothers drink?
A: Alcohol interferes with their suffering.
4) Q: Have you seen the newest Jewish-American-Princess
horror movie?
A: It's called "Debbie Does Dishes".
5) Q: Why do Jewish mothers make great parole officers?
A: They never let anyone finish a sentence.
6) Q: What's a Jewish American Princess's favorite position?
A: Facing Bloomingdale's.
7) When the doctor called Mrs. Liebenbaum to tell her that
her check came back , she replied, "So did my arthritis".
8) A man called his mother in Florida, "Mom, how are you?".
"Not too good," said the mother. "I've been very weak.".
The son said, "Why are you so weak?". She said,
"Because I haven't eaten in 38 days.". The son said,
"That's terrible! Why haven't you eaten in 38 days?".
The mother answered, "Because I didn't want my mouth
to be filled with food if you should call.".
9) A Jewish boy comes home from school and tells his mother
he has a part in the play. She asks, "What part is it?.
The boy says,"I play the part of the Jewish husband.".
The mother scowls and says, "Go back and tell the teacher
you want a speaking part!".
10) Q: How many Jewish mothers does it take to change
a light bulb?
A: <Sigh!> Don't bother! I'll sit in the dark.
I don't want to be a nuisance to anybody!
11) Short summary of every Jewish holiday: They tried
to kill us, we won, let's eat.
12) Did you hear about the bum who walked up to
a Jewish mother on the street and said, "Lady
I haven't eaten in three days." "Force yourself",
she replied.
13) Q: What's the difference between a Rottweiler
and a Jewish mother?
A: Eventually, the Rottweiler lets go.
14) Jewish telegram: "Begin worrying. Details to follow."
15) Q: Why are Jewish Men circumcised?
A: Because Jewish women don't like anything
that isn't 20 % off.

As a non-Jew, how is it, exactly, that you figure you "understand the
Jewish culture and especially Jewish women"? I also have to wonder
*why* you posted this.

First of all, notice that you launch an attack on Vera, based
on the unprovoked assumption she'll respond to your post the
way you claimed.
Second, I believe you are anti-semitic, in that you insist
they were permanently rejected by God, and have no right to
the promises God made them, including the land. Thus, you
play right in to the hands of all the Arabs who _are_ seeking
their annihilation, and you try to rob them of the inheritance
and blessings God has made on an unconditional basis.
1) Christ is the "seed" who is the rightful heir of the
Abrahamic promises to both the Jews and Gentiles (Galatians
3). He therefore has every right to sin on the throne, in
Jerusalem, as their king.
2) Chastisement does not eliminate the promise, but confirms
Israel is the rightful heir (cf. Heb. 12; Jer. 30-33).
3) An "everlasting" promise cannot be fulfilled, then done
away with at a point in time. The Abrahamic, Palestinian, and
Davidic covenants are "everlasting" covenants, to continue as
long as the present heavens and earth (Jer. 30-33). Contending
you can give someone an everlasting promise, then take it away
because you already fulfilled it when you gave it to them in
the first place, is tantamount to claiming you can get saved
and have eternal life, but then have it taken away at a point
in time, because the promise was already fulfilled.

Christ died for our sins, and God raised Him from the dead.

That's a popular belief amongst non-Jews, and totally untrue.

The same century you are. Women cannot yet initiate divorce in
Israel, nor fight for support when their masters divorce them. They
are as slaves who cannot leave a cruel master, nor resist the loss of
a husband they would keep.
They have only the wretched "kethuba", the bridal price when they are
sold into slavery to their husbands. When they are dismissed from
sexual servitude, they are permitted to keep the price of the
purchase.

You may be in the same century, but you don't know bupkes about
Judaism and Mosaic Law.
> Women cannot yet initiate divorce in

Yep. That's their law. Judges in Israel are all ultra-Orthodox
rabbis - it's the way it's been for centuries. Israel is a very
religious and God-fearing country - from the ultra-Orthodox to the
common man who doesn't even go to synagogue anymore. As far as
divorce from the woman's perspective, here's something from Wikipedia:
"Since under Jewish law, a divorce Get must be delivered by the
husband to the wife voluntarily, husband are known to hijack the
wives' property unless their financial or other demands are met. Women
whose husbands refuse to deliver a Get or who have disappeared without
a trace are called Agunot, they can not remarry, and this status may
last for decades."
So, as you see above, Israeli divorce procedure is not as anti-woman
as you would like to portray it.

Oh, baloney. Once again, you know nothing about Judaism or Mosaic Law.
Amazing. You complain in one part of this thread about women not
being able to get their own divorces in Israel and that the Ketubah is
equivalent to "being sold at a price" to their husband - then here you
contradict yourself and gripe about Jewish feminists.
Go figure.
Most people in the USA get along as well as could be expected. Terry
Cross / Carol Valentine is the exception, an antisemitic, lying loki who
spreads her hateful lies wherever she can. Don't judge everyone by her
bigotry. She is very much the exception here.
This is typical of Terry Cross/Carol Valentine. She is an antisemitic
bigot and loki who loses no opportunity to spread lies about Jews and
Judaism. Inconsistency, lies and hypocrisy are her tools and she uses
them in virtually all of her posts.

Sounds like a load of bullshit you made up, short bus. Unless there's some
obscure Orthodox ceremony that only you're aware of, this came straight out
of your imagination. A quick search on the Net turned up this:
"All those present at the funeral must wash their hands afterward. There is
an emphasis on life since one has just come in contact with the dead. This
is like a purification process."
Wow! Washing your hands is really cumbersome and inconvenient, isn't it.
Well, maybe it is for you, short bus.

Nothing like it, it has cultural roots & was one of the ways the Judaic
society pretended it was god's chosen people.
You see, at one time, the Judaic's actually grieved for their dead, up to &
including scarification of themselves. The scarification had a purpose, it
was to convince the dead person that the living was in worse shape, & the
dead person would leave them alone & continue their journey to sheol. The
receptical of all life, eventually.

It's hard to recall what you have never read or heard, but what's one more
lie from you?
Anyone really want to know about the dead in ancient Judea can read [this
excludes you jw, you wouldn't understand the terms & lack the vocabulary]
can get a copy of Israel's Beneficent Dead by Brtian B. Schmidt, ISBN

Or they can start with Amos 6:7 & do a lot of reading, without the Cliff

It is exactly as anti-woman as I have portrayed it. If you think that

That is not a gripe. I point out that those women are the oppressed

Neither the feminists nor Freud realized they were battling personal

But you do, huh?
IMO, you're really not worth responding to. Seriously, you should
take it somewhere else - I'm not interested in getting into a
pointless debate with someone so bigoted and close-minded. Especially
an avowed and tunnel-visioned anti-Semite.
So you write a response to tell me I am not worthy of response. And
you end your sentence with a preposition. This IS a heavy

What's it like never to hear any disagreements, bub? You filter
everything so you hear only praise, never the blame?
Here's what the experts say about Judaism:
http://daatemet.com/articles/article.cfm?article_id=120
You should know that the status of women in modern Judaism is somewhat
similar to the status of slaves in 19th century United States. The law
did not force any slave-owner to abuse his slaves, but there also was
no legal barrier to abusive acts. Decent people treated their slaves
decently and evil owners abused their slaves. In any case, the slave
had no written and actual legal recourse to protect him. Though
certainly the majority of Jewish men are decent, women still have no
Halachic protection against the evil ones. Thus Halacha falls far
short of enlightened secular law which protects the status of women
and her rights.
A woman's obligations to her husband--Maimonides wrote in Laws of
Interpersonal Relations, chapter 12, halacha three: "And the four
things he gets are all determined by Rabbinic legislation: her work is
his, what she finds belongs to him, he eats the produce [profits] of
all her property as long as she lives, and if she dies during his
lifetime he inherits from her, and he is first among all who might
inherit from her." According to the Raabad, it is the Torah's law that
the husband inherits from the wife, as he wrote: "I say that the
husband's right to inherit is from the Torah." There is no need to say
that if the husband dies the wife does not inherit from him--see
below!
We thus conclude form the Sages' regulations: a married woman has no
property or money of her own, and therefore they said in Bava Kama
87a: "A slave and a women who harmed other are not liable." (They have
nothing with which to pay. If the woman is divorced or the slave freed
and they bought property, they must pay, for they are, in principle,
obligated to pay, but they simply have nothing with which to pay. A
husband has a lien on his wife's property and benefits from her
property as well as inherits it -- Rashi.)
Therefore the Shulchan Aruch (Yoreh Deah paragraph 248, section four)
ruled that one should not accept charity from a woman: "The charity
sexton accepts nothing from women, servants, or infants but a
pittance, and nothing big, which is to be considered stolen from
others [for it is impossible for a woman to have her own property or
belongings unless she stole them…]."
The author, Mr. Yadin, is an ordained Orthodox rabbi.
