I found it an interesting read, so I am posting the link to it. I am
not knocking any of my Canadian brothers or sisters with this. So I
pray you are not offended by it. It is something we need to think
about. Seems it is getting harder and harder for Christians to have
rights. The time is coming, maybe soon.

over beliefs that can't be proven as well as hate for those
beliefs.
I believe that both parties are wrong, men should drop the
pettiness and personal beliefs and work it out among one

Why would you want to implement what I've described above
when it is already happening ? The idea has always been to
stop the cycle, not keep it going !
We don't have to kill ourselves off over beliefs that we
can't verify to our own satisfaction ! We know the
difference between right and wrong, why not observes those
limits and honor them ?
Since an atheist is considered an enemy, why not start by
telling him you accept him as he is, and ask him to do the
same ? Then have your religious gatherings in private
without sharing them with him ?
You CAN get along with one another if you really want to,
it just takes a little respect for one another and some effort.

The two are not even in the same categories are you warning signs,
repeatable science. What is fiction that fails to predict and or

Not just a public forum, a specialized public forum. Educational
facilities for children, under the mantle of science. Creationism is not
science and therefore should not be so associated.

There are no both sides, as long as creationism is attempting to be a
replacement for science, there's only one side. Once creationism becomes
an actual working science, then there would be no need of denying access
it to the public educational system.
But it has been shown in court, in Pennsylvania, that creationism also
called intelligent design, is anything but science. It is simply another
attempt to insert a wedge into the wall of separation of church and
state. In other words, it's a continuing effort to destroy the
Constitution of the United States and make the United States a theocracy.
Much wrong with a theocracy, look at the Middle East and ask me that
question again.

I think I can agree that something needs to be done. The arguing does
need to stop. All we are commanded to do as Christians to go and share
the gospel (teach all nations). Arguing proves nothing. I can tell you
what I believe, why I believe, and share the story of Christ with you.
But as for getting you to believe is out of my hands. So if you
disagree with me, then that is your choice, and I accept that.
As for being unrealistic about seeking it to end. No, nothing
unrealistic about it. Maybe unpractical, but not unrealistic. This has
been going on and on long before we were even born Rod. And will
probably continue to go on. In my opinion, arguing is just one of
Satan's tools that he uses.

manifest itself no matter what we say or do.
The scary thing about it is this, it's like an old star
trek episode in some ways...the stronger and harder that

Something you said in a reply prompted me to consider
what would make me believe. I believe I have an answer to that,
and I think the answer is that I have to experience good
and evil close up and personal, one on one. The christianity
that we see today is a poor replica of what it was in the
first century. I've always wondered what it would feel like
to journey on foot across a wasteland without food or
shelter to spread a gospel, to be welcomed into the homes
of believers, to walk in the footsteps of the teachers and
apostles. I know it was a cruel time in the first century,
but it was a simple time as well; no technology to annoy
and distract you, more time to share with other believers,
a general closeness with others that seems so foreign and
remote in our time. I think that in their time, Christian
Love was as it was meant to be, you certainly don't see it
often in our day and age.
It looks to me as if part of my request is being met...
getting acquainted with evil..

Not just the first century but other times also. Yes technology was
suppose to make life easier for us, and in a way it does, but also in
