‎~ Counterfeit Christianity and Human Secularism allow each person to
have their personal truth.

“You have your truth” and “I have my truth”. They say. That is
blatantly opposed to the life and teaching of Jesus Christ, Our
Saviour and Lord, who spoke the Father’s truth!

THE FATHER'S TRUTH

Jesus is our God who speaks the words of His God in heaven:

"Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man,
then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but
as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things. And he that sent me
is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those
things that please him." John 8:28-29 (KJV)

In the Old Testament and the New Testament, Jesus spoke the Father's
words. Jesus spoke the Ten Commandments on Mount Sinai and gave Moses
statutes and judgments that would teach the people how to obey them.

The Psalmist defines "the truth":

"and THY LAW is THE TRUTH." Psalms 119:142 KJV

Peter told the early Christians that the Old Testament Prophets were
inspired by the Spirit of Christ:

"Of which salvation the prophets have inquired and searched
diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:
Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was
in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of
Christ, and the glory that should follow."
1 Pet 1:10-11 (KJV)

The Spirit of Christ speaking through Isaiah said: "To the law* and to
the testimony**: if they speak not according to this word***, it is
because there is no light in them." Isa 8:20 (KJV)

The words of Jesus, the law and the testimony of the Old Testament
Prophets are the standard by which all doctrine must by judged.

* law: #8451 torah from #3384; a precept or statute, especially the

**testimony: #8584 te' uvdah from #5749, attestation, i.e. a precept.

*** word: #1697 dabar from #1696 a word.

The English word "Commandment" is translated from the Hebrew "dabar"
which means: "a word". Therefore that which was carved in stone and

Sounds good, doesn't it? SOUNDS like something a believer in Christ
might really say.

But what is the truth behind what Donna Kupp teaches and believes?

How can we know if this woman is of God or actually a false teacher when
she speaks?

Paul gives us the answer:

2 cor 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve
through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the
simplicity that is in Christ.
4 For if he that cometh preacheth ANOTHER JESUS, whom we have not
preached, or if ye receive ANOTHER SPIRIT, which ye have not received,
or ANOTHER GOSPEL, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with
him.

2 cor 11:13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming
themselves into the apostles of Christ.
14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of
light.
15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed
as the MINISTERS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS; whose end shall be according to their
works.

Donna Kupp, for those who do not know, is a woman preaching a false
gospel with a false Christ that denies virtually every possible
essential of the Christian faith.

Note here paul's words about false teachers: they will actually be
"MINISTERS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS"!!!!! Not antinomians, teaching lawlessness
and freedom to sin, but MINISTERS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, teaching an
apparently good-sounding Gospel that is actually ANOTHER GOSPEL about
ANOTHER JESUS!

Let us test Donna Kupp's own words against the doctrines of
the New Testament and the Christian church, and see if we can determine
whether she is a servant of God, or actually a minister of Satan!

1. First, Paul warns that a minister of Satan will teach "ANOTHER
JESUS."

Is Donna Kupp's Jesus YOUR Jesus? Or is her Jesus the Jesus of
Scripture?

While Donna Kupp just made a number of statements sound like something a
real Christian might make, we cannot make a judgment whether she is or
is not a true Christian based only on what she just posted here. We must
determine if she really teaches the same Jesus REAL Christians follow by
looking at statements she, herself, has made about Christ in the past,
that she may not throw out on a regular basis, because she knows it
reveals what she REALLY thinks about Christ.

So what does she actually say about the Jesus she follows, and
supposedly places faith in?

This...

>"In the beginning was Jesus

> and Jesus was with THE RULER,

> and Jesus was Ruler.

> The same was in the beginning with THE RULER."
>John was teaching that Jesus was our Ruler (our theos) and that
>Jesus was with the Father from the very beginning of creation.
>(Not that Jesus was one third of some mysterious and mind-
>boggling "Trinity" that no one had ever heard of.)

We can stop right there. Donna Kupp, denying the deity of Christ,
rewrites the Gospel of John in a manner that affirms that denial, so we
can either change all our Bibles to her new trenslation that "proves"
Jesus is NOT fully God, but some other sort of created lesser being, or
we can allow the sacred words of the apostle John to stand AS WRITTEN!

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the WORD
WAS GOD.

So we see her Jesus is ANOTHER JESUS that orthodox Protestants and
Evangelicals DO NOT believe in.

For US, Jesus is God in flesh, fully God and fully man, and 2nd Person
of the Trinity she goes on to mock and deny.

2. Next, Paul warns that a minister of Satan will teach or operate under
a "DIFFERENT SPIRIT".

Does Donna Kupp teach and receive anoining by the same Holy Spirit that
REAL Christians follow?

Judge for yourself by her own words.

> The concept that the Holy Spirit is God is based on a single verse in
> Acts (5:3) where it says that Ananias lied to the Holy Spirit - and
> later it says that he lied to God.
> To conclude that the Holy Spirit is God on the basis of those verses is
> merely an interpretation which adds to what is actually written. Since
> the Spirit is the means of communciation between God and man, if you
> lie to the Spirit you are in effect lying to God. Are there any verses
> which actually say that the Holy Spirit is God?
> Not one!
> Jesus did not teach the Trinity, the apostles did not teach it, and it
> was not taught by church leaders for three hundred years after the
> death of Christ.

All REAL Christians believe not only in the deity of Christ, but also
the Godhood of the Holy Spirit. As we see from her own words, Donna
Kupp denies those two essentials of the faith, and proclaims the Holy
Spirit is only some nebulous "means of communication between God and
man"

So now we see she has fulfilled the SECOND warning of Paul--she has
A DIFFERENT SPIRIT than REAL Christians do.

By the way, her LIES about the history of the Trinity are instantly
refutable:

The deity of Christ was EXPLICITLY taught by Ignatius in the early 2nd
century

"To the Church at Ephesus in Asia . . . chosen through true suffering by
the will of the Father in Jesus Christ our God"
"FOR OUR GOD, Jesus Christ, was conceived by Mary in accord with Gods
plan: of the seed of David, it is true, but also of the Holy Spirit"

Letter to the Ephesians 1 110 AD

False teacher kupp also adds:

> There is no record of the co-equal, co-eternal, three-in-one God
> being taught by a single one of the early church fathers. It
> was not a part of Christian teaching until it was formulated by the
> Second Ecumenical Council at Constantinople in 381.A.D.

For the Church, although dispersed throughout the whole world even to
the ends of the earth, has received from the apostles and from their
disciples the faith in one God, the Father Almighty . . . and in one
Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who became flesh for our salvation; and in
the Holy Spirit

Irenaeus, before 200 AD

And at the same time the mystery of the oikonomia is safeguarded, for
the unity is distributed in a TRINITY. Placed in order, the three are
the Father, Son, and Spirit. They are three, however, not in condition,
but in degree; not in being, but in form; not in power, but in kind; of
one being, however, and one condition and one power, because he is one
God of whom degrees and forms and kinds are taken into account in the
name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit"

Tertullian "Against Praxeas" early 200s AD

For Scripture as much announces Christ AS ALSO GOD, as it announces God
himself as man. It has as much described Jesus Christ to be man, as
moreover it has also described Christ the Lord to be God. Because it
does not set forth him to be the Son of God only, but also the son of
man; nor does it only say, the son of man, but it has also been
accustomed to speak of him as the Son of God. So that being of both, he
is both, lest if he should be one only, he could not be the other. For
as nature itself has prescribed that he must be believed to be a man who
is of man, so the same nature prescribes also that he must be believed
to be God who is of God. . . . Let them, therefore, who read that Jesus
Christ the son of man is man, read also that this same Jesus is called
also God and the Son of God"

Novatian, Treatise on the Trinity 11 235 AD

And now the capstone to Kupp's historial and TEXTUAL illiteracy:

The Lord says: 'I and the Father are one.' And again of the Father and
Son and the Holy Spirit it is written: 'And these three are one'.
Cyprian --Treatise 1 on the unity of the Catholic Church, chapter 6,
early 3rd century, PROVING THE LEGITIMACY OF THE COMMA JOHANNEUM KUPP
(and other historical illiterates) SAY IS A FRAUD.

3. The minister of Satan will also teach "ANOTHER GOSPEL."

Does Donna Kupp uphold the CHRISTIAN gospel? We've already seen she
denies and perverts the nature of Jesus Himself and the precious Holy
Spirit. But what is her actual gospel message? She talks about
obedience, and making Jesus Lord...but what does she really believe
about sin, justification, and sanctification? Does she ever lay out her
beliefs in clear language so the body of Christ can see and judge
whether she is or is not a fellow believer?

Yes!

Again, these are her own words:

>To be saved is the first step in the process of salvation. Those who
>are saved do not have eternal life -

Did you get that? THOSE WHO ARE SAVED ___DO NOT___HAVE ETERNAL LIFE!!!

LET'S CONTRAST THAT WITH SCRIPTURE:

jn 6:54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, HATH eternal life;
and I will raise him up at the last day.

1 jn 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name
of the Son of God; that YE MAY KNOW that ye have eternal life, and that
ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of
yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

More from Donna Jupp:

> "If one who is born of God has truly repented of committing sin
> (chosen to cease from sin) and then deliberately commits sin he has
> despised the Holy Spirit, just as the OT the Israelites despised the
> Law of God. It is blasphemy!"
> "When we are converted all past sins are forgiven. After a person is
> born-again, only sins of ignorance are forgiven. If a person sins
> with knowledge and intent after that time, they have blasphemed
> the Holy Spirit and there is no more sacrifice for sin. See Hebrews
> 6:1-8; Hebrews 10:26-31."

LET'S CONTRAST THAT WITH SCRIPTURE:

Gal 2:17 But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves
are ALSO FOUND SINNERS, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God
forbid.

Apparently, paul understood that even those justified in Christ STILL
SINNED!

Are we sure? Well, let's again test the doctrine of donna kupp by paul's
own words, written in the last months of his life:

1 tim 1:15 This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation,
that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I AM
CHIEF.

Wait a minute--I thought Donna said any Christian who willingly commits
even ONE SIN is eternally damned!

Apparently, paul did not realize this when he acknowledged he was the
WORST of sinners in 67 AD when he wrote this, 30+ years after finding
Christ! Thus, he must have been guilty of blaspheming the spirit
according to false teachers harold and donna kupp

What else did Paul have to say about whether Christians do or do not
commit sin in romans 7?

18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing:
for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I
find not.

19 For the good that I would I do not: BUT THE EVIL WHICH I WOULD NOT,
____THAT I DO___.
20 Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin
that dwelleth in me.
21 I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with
me.
22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:
23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my
mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my
members.
24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this
death?
25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I
myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

Does THAT sound like a man who has reached the state of sinless
perfection like Donna Kupp, who claims any sin she commits is 100%
accidental and unintentional??????

And this is her ultimate blasphemy regarding the blood of Christ...

> Blood of Christ covers: 1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light,
> as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the
> blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. (Only sins
> of ignorance)

Notice how donna kupp added the words "Only sins of ignorance" to
pervert John's words? Just as she did with the powerful passage in John
1:1, she rejects the message and inserts her own heretical words flat
out CONTRADICTING what was actually written! John says Christ's blood
cleanses us from ALL sin; Donna adds words to change it to all
UNINTENTIONAL sins, making the blood of Christ LIMITED in its ability to
atone for sin.

Kupp also has missed what Jesus said about how imperfect His followers
will always be:

Luke 4:4 And FORGIVE US OUR SINS; for we also forgive every one that is
indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from
evil.

Meanwhile, THIS is God's true message of salvation:

John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become
the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

And while Donna Kupp blasphemes the gospel by claiming we keep--and
actually earn--our salvation through keeping the 10 commandments
perfectly, here is what the SCRIPTURE says about how we stay in right
standing security with God:

1 peter 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a
lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not
away, reserved in heaven for you,
5 WHO ARE KEPT BY THE POWER OF GOD __THROUGH FAITH__ UNTO SALVATION
ready to be revealed in the last time.

So now we see her "gospel" IS NOT the gospel of the New testament. It is
a false gospel that...

A. Requires Bible verses to be rewritten in a heretical manner.
B. Requires adding a clarification to Scripture that TOTALLY overturns
what the Scripture actually SAYS.
C. Must deny the deity of Christ and the Holy Spirit.
D. Requires remaining in a state of salvation by keeping the 10
commandments PERFECTLY, or else the person is now damned without
possibility of repentance.
E. Blasphemes and limits the atoning power of Christ's blood to
"Only sins of ignorance."

4. As we noted, Paul says the MINISTER OF SATAN will actually appear to
be a MINISTER OF RIGHTEOUSNESS! That is what makes them so deceptive.
They are serpents in the guise of sheep, preaching righteous living and
'keeping God's holy law' while in their hearts is satan himself, drawing
people away from TRUE righteousness, to a perverted notion of it based
on keeping commandments!

Take a look at Donna Kupp's deceptive posts, including this one. Every
one touts the keeping of biblical commandments, threatens people with
damnation for failing to keep biblical commandments, and threatenes them
with damnation if anyone should ever--EVEN ONE TIME--willingly BREAK a
biblical commandment.

So Kupp APPEARS to be preaching the righteousness of 'keeping God's holy
commandments'...yet she does it in a way that is an UTTER PERVERSION of
the gospel of grace, and comes right from the mouth of satan speaking
good things, and making her LOOK like a minister of righetousness.

So, summing it up, Paul says that a minister of satan will...

Preach another Jesus...
Preach under another spirit...
And preach a different gospel...
While appearing to be a minister of righteousness while doing so!

I believe Donna Kupp meets ALL FOUR CRITERIA.

Based on the totality of her teachings, I see no conclusion other than
that the "Jesus" she follows is a demon spirit, and the "Yahweh" she
speaks for is actually SATAN.

I am dead to the law by the crucified body of Christ. Are you?

I think it's time to give the Kupps, and other legalists, a little bit
of a discussion on what "commandments" in their english bibles really
means...

The KJV's misuse of the word entole

A major factor in the formation of a flawed/false Gospel of Donna Kupp
is the bad choice of the King James translators to repeatedly
render some Greek words, especially entole, as "commandment(s)," which
influenced subsequent English Bibles into following the same error.

While entole often does mean some command or precept in the Law, it also
means things like admonitions, instructions or orders.
Here are some of examples where the word should never have been rendered
"commandment(s)":

No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to
lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I
received of my Father.
--John 10:18.

And they that conducted Paul brought him unto Athens: and receiving a
commandment unto Silas and Timotheus for to come to him with all speed,
they departed .
--Acts 17:15.

Now concerning virgins I have no commandment of the Lord: yet I give my
judgment, as one that hath obtained mercy of the Lord to be faithful.
--1 Cor. 7:25.

Aristarchus my fellowprisoner saluteth you, and Marcus, sister's son to
Barnabas, (touching whom ye received commandments: if he come unto you,
receive him;)
--Col. 4:10.

Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the commandment of God our Saviour,
and Lord Jesus Christ, which is our hope;
--1 Tim. 1:1.

That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the
appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:
--1 Tim. 6:14.

That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy
prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and
Saviour:
--2 Peter 3:2.

It should immediately be apparent that in none of the cases listed, does
the word "commandment" refer to some commandment in the actual Law.
Every one of those instances should have been translated entole as
"order"--or, at best, "command."

Never "commandment"!

To our minds, when we see the word "commandments," we automatically call
to mind things like the 10 Commandments. This natural prejudice helps
people like DOnna Kupp err in their misunderstanding, because we connect
the Law/10 Commandments to that word, and immediately tend to presume
the writer is talking about the Law.

This gives birth to heresy because you must let the context of the
passage determine whether the writer actually means some sort of general
order or admonition, or literally some biblical "commandment"!

Misunderstanding John's use of entole

This bad choice on the part of the King James translators carried over
into the writings of John, which are incorrectly used to form the false
Gospel of the cultists.
John doesn't always use the Greek language as other writers do. As I
pointed out in John 6:28, he uses ergon ("works"), for instance,
differently than Matthew, Mark and Luke. Likewise, with entole. While
other writers use it for commandments in the Law, or for general orders
that having nothing to do with the Law, John shows in his Gospel that he
only uses it for orders and instructions, and never for commandments of
the Law.
Below are all his uses of the word entole in his Gospel, translated as
"commandment."

No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to
lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I
received of my Father.
--John 10:18.

Now both the chief priests and the Pharisees had given a commandment,
that, if any man knew where he were, he should shew it, that they might
take him.
--John 11:57.

For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave
me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.
--John 12:49.

And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak
therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.
--John 12:50.

A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have
loved you, that ye also love one another.
--John 13:34.

If ye love me, keep my commandments.
--John 14:15.

He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me:
and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him,
and will manifest myself to him.
--John 14:21.

If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have
kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
--John 15:10.

This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
--John 15:12.

It should be apparent that when John uses entole in his Gospel, he does
not use it in the sense of commandments of the Law, including the 10
Commandments, but rather as commands or orders. In 15:10, for instance,
Jesus refers to two different sorts of "commandments": His
"commandments," and the Father's "commandments."

We cannot attribute the Torah/10 Commandments to God, and some other Law
to Christ that excludes Him from equal attribution regarding the Mosaic
Law. The Law is the Law, and the same God and the same Son--with the
Holy Spirit--are all responsible for its inception.

Thus, "commandments" in 15:10 must refer contextually to orders or
admonitions, not to commandments of the Law.

John 14:15 and 14:21 likewise cannot be referring to the Torah/10
Commandments for the same reason: "My commandments" must reasonably have
a meaning along the lines of, "my orders/teaching/admonitions," rather
than, "Thou shalt not steal."
One can search out every word John ever wrote, and in no place will he
ever be found using the word "commandments" in context with a clear,
unambiguous tie-in to the Torah or 10 commandments. He will either be
seen referring to commands, in a general sense, or else his meaning, in
a handful of occasions, will be ambiguous.

Other writers who do use entole use it most of the time to refer to
commandments of the Law, but sometimes as commands in a general sense.
But where they do use the word, they use it in a clear context so there
is never a question of meaning:

Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and
shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of
heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called
great in the kingdom of heaven.
--Matt. 5:19.

But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments
of men.
--Matt. 15:9.

And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but
one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the
commandments.
--Matt. 19:17

On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
--Matt. 22:40.

Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the
commandments of men.
--Mark 7:7.

Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do
not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and
mother.
--Mark 10:19.

And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O
Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:
--Mark 12:29.

And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments
and ordinances of the Lord blameless.
--Luke 1:6.

Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do
not steal, Do not bear false witness , Honour thy father and thy mother.
--Luke 18:20.

Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy
Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen:
--Acts 1:2.*

Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping
of the commandments of God.
--1 Cor. 7:19.

If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him
acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments
of the Lord.
--1 Cor.14:37.*
having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments
contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so
making peace;
--Eph. 2:15.

Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and
doctrines of men?
--Col. 2:22.

Aristarchus my fellowprisoner saluteth you, and Marcus, sister's son to
Barnabas, (touching whom ye received commandments: if he come unto you,
receive him;)*
--Col. 4:10.

For ye know what commandments we gave you by the Lord Jesus.
--1 Thess. 4:2.*

Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn
from the truth.
--Titus 1:14.

* The word here refers to orders, not to biblical commandments of the
Law, nor man's adding commandments to the Law.

As can quickly be noted, in every case where entole is used for
"commandments," the context--whether that of commandments in the Law or
normal orders--is obvious, and there is no real ambiguity. Fourteen
times, it is clearly used to refer to commandments of some sort of law
(God's or man's), and three times it refers to simple orders.

John stands out as being different, however. His Gospel reveals that he
uses entole most often to refer to orders, rather than biblical
commandments. In the nine times he uses the word in his Gospel, the
three times he uses it as a plural ("commandments"), his usage is at
best ambiguous, and does not clearly and unequivocally define whether he
is referring to general order or biblical commands in the Law:

If ye love me, keep my commandments.
--John 14:15.

He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me:
and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him,
and will manifest myself to him.
--John 14:21.

If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have
kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
--John 15:10.

As I have tried to show, John is not referring to biblical commandments
in these passages, and nothing in the text surrounding these uses can be
used to clearly refute my contention. Unlike all other New Testament
writers, John never uses entole in a clear context of biblical
commandments in either the verse itself, or other verses surrounding it,
verifying use of the word to refer to commandments in the Law.

Only John--if he does what many think--would stand out as using entole
to refer to biblical commandments without making a clear, unambiguous
correlation to commandments of the Law in or near the same passage.

Failure to understand his established pattern of entole in his Gospel
gives birth to a misunderstanding of his use of the word in his epistles
and Revelation. Many Bible students, tricked by a biased English
translation, do not realize John is referring only to "commands" (in the
sense of following orders and precepts given by Christ), rather than
literally to biblical commandments:

He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar,
and the truth is not in him.
--1 John 2:4.

Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment
which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which
ye have heard from the beginning.
--1 John 2:7.

Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him
and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now
shineth.
--1 John 2:8.

And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his
commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
--1 John 3:22.

And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his
Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.
--1 John 3:23.

And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And
hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given
us.
--1 John 3:24.

And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his
brother also.
--1 John 4:24.

For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his
commandments are not grievous.
--1 John 5:3.

I rejoiced greatly that I found of thy children walking in truth, as we
have received a commandment from the Father.
--2 John 1:4.

And now I beseech thee, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment
unto thee, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one
another.
--2 John 1:5.

And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the
commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk
in it.
--2 John 1:6.

And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the
remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the
testimony of Jesus Christ.
--Rev. 12:17.

Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the
commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
--Rev. 14:12.

Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to
the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.**
--Rev. 22:14.

** The best manuscripts of Revelation have "Wash their robes"--referring
back to Rev. 7:14--rather than "Do His commandments."

As noted, some of these verses, in English, could reasonably be
understood as referring to commandments of some sort of Law. But as I
have also tried to show, if even if you do view "keep his commandments"
as meaning, "keep the Law," you shipwreck the moment you try to define
what Law that is.

If you say it's the 10, you exclude critical commandments the New
Testament affirms, including those against homosexuality and incest, and
Jesus' summation of the Law and the Prophets.

If you say it's the 613, you run afoul of the fact that if you accept
the commandment of circumcision, you fall from Grace! You also commit
apostasy by upholding animal sacrifices as valid biblical commandments
so long as there is a Temple to make them in (as was the case for the
first 40 years of the faith), which treats the blood of Christ as
inferior and insufficient (Heb. 10:1-9).

If you try to create some list on your own authority of "moral
commandments" in the body of the Law that must be kept, you have no
authority to do that, and the Bible does not do it for you.

You are stuck with either the 10 or the 613, and if you choose either,
your argument collapses when weighed against the totality of the New
Testament.

"But Jesus said, While heaven and earth remain, not one jot or tittle
will pass from the Law--and John said, Sin is transgression of the Law,
so some body of Law must be in force to transgress against!"

These are common deceptions spread by Children of the Flesh.

For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one
tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
--Matt. 5:18.

Messianics and Sabbatarians like Donna Kupp often throw Jesus' words
here at me--but they always quote only the first half of the verse, and
seem oblivious to the words, "till all be fulfilled."

Apparently, Jesus didn't really speak the last four words there.

At least, these people never quote them to me, but quote only the words
up to them.

Why?

The answer is obvious: They know it overturns their theology. Deep down,
they know Jesus fulfilled all the Law in His life and on the cross, and
so all has been fulfilled!

But even though it is the natural conclusion to their bad theology, they
know better than to advance the view that Jesus hasn't fully completed
the plan of redemption, so they quote half the verse to help justify the
notion that, "the Law will last until heaven and earth pass away."

So too with John's words in 1st John 3:4…

Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the
transgression of the law.

They'll quote the second half of the verse, and usually ignore the first
half that says sin is "also" transgression of the Law.

That part of the verse is important because it shows John is not writing
to say, "We must keep the Law because to fail to keep a commandment of
it means we have committed sin!" Instead, writing to a mostly Jewish
audience (see 3rd John 1:7), John is actually saying that living in
continuous, ongoing, unrepentant sin is "also" the same as a Jew who
abandons the Law to live in Lawlessness, and carries the same ultimate
penalty: death.

"Then what does all this mean? That we don't have to keep any
commandments of God?!"

Quite the contrary--we must strive to implement every word in Scripture
God has given us to develop and show faith, hope and charity. Many of
those exhortations do happen to be "commandments."

So do we abstain from adultery and murder? Certainly.

Do we feed the hungry? Certainly.

Do we avoid tale-bearing? Certainly.

Do we lend to our neighbor in need? Certainly.

Do we make sure we walk, rather than drive, on the Sabbath? No.

Do we make sure we don't light a fire on the Sabbath? No.

Do we eat only clean meats before our God? No.

Do we allow our beards to grow naturally, without trimming them? No.

Do we shun "pagan" holidays like Christmas or Easter, and hypocritically
keep the Feasts in the Law--most of which require animal sacrifice we
rationalize away as not having to perform? No.

Do we wear fringes on our garments to make sure we don't forget the 613
commandments? No.

Thus, real Christians never pervert the New covenant by taking a
codified Law like the 10 Commandments or Torah and upholding that Law as
a canon of righteousness we are called to fulfill in order to be
righteous before God or obtain eternal life.

If we make that mistake and do uphold a Law as binding on us, we leaven
the New covenant and fall from Grace. Thus, while we do not have license
to sin, and while we do, in a sense, technically "keep the
commandments," we still do not "keep the Torah" or "keep the Ten
Commandments," because implicit with those notions is to receive
justification through Law, rejecting faith.

This is not because there is some evil in the commandments of the Law;
it is because the body of those commandments form a covenant that is no
longer valid, and submission to those commandments carries with it the
potential of conscience or unconscious submission to the covenant they
represent--and the covenant that goes with them is a rejection of Christ
and the New covenant!

Exploding the Sabbath Worship Heresy
By todd
Sabbath Blasting!
The ultimate Jew of all Jews has already come and fulfilled every
single prophecy that was supposed to be fulfilled to this point, the
most important being that He bled on that cross as “the Lamb of God”
as a sacrifice for the sins of all of mankind (John 1:29). This
included nailing the old testament law to the cross. Keep reading.

As a born again, NEW Testament disciple of Jesus, I am not interested
in any foolish focus on obsolete feasts which were only a means of
depicting the ONE (the Messiah) who was yet to come. If you are still
focusing on the mere shadow given to the Jews under the OLD testament,
you are living under the old and obsolete covenant which was far
inferior to the NEW Testament which Jesus accomplished and which is a
far superior and a much “BETTER covenant” and made the old covenant
obsolete (Hebrews 8:6). To put to much emphasis on that which only
served to be a guide to understand and know the Messiah when He came
is antichrist. This is an open denial of Christ – it’s antichrist
because it denies that He already came in the flesh (1 John 4:1-3).
Now that He HAS already come in the flesh and fulfilled the prophetic
pictures and Word about Him, I would be denying Him to go back to mere
shadows which only served to point the Jewish people to Him BEFORE He
actually came “in the fullness of time.” (Galatians 4:4)

The Messiah has already come to the earth!

Is it time we get a clue?

Yeshua has come and put and “END” to the OLD Testament law for
righteousness.

“For Christ is THE END of the law for righteousness to every one that
believeth.” Romans 10:4

What does the Bible tell us that Jesus Christ did when He died on that
cross for the sins of all men?

“Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which
was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his
cross; 15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew
of them openly, triumphing over them in it. 16 Let no man therefore
judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the
new moon, or of the sabbath days: 17 Which are a shadow of things to
come; but the body is of Christ. 18 Let no man beguile you of your
reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding
into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his
fleshly mind, 19 And not holding the Head, from which all the body by
joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together,
increaseth with the increase of God.” Colossians 2:14-19

Jesus kept the whole law including the sabbath in order to nail it to
the cross and do away with it. The Bible says He “took it out of the
way.”

Here in this glorious passage, the Word of God is instruction you who
are “complete in Christ” (v10) to not allow any foul, law-keep
religious devil to condemn you for not keeping an inferior, obsolete
law that is done away with and nailed to the cross.

Satan works feverishly to draw attention away from his arch enemy, the
Head of His true body, Jesus Christ. Jesus satisfied the claims of the
Father justice, the only One to ever fulfill the law, and nailed it to
the cross, taking it “away” forever! Satan uses his “ministers” to try
to bring people under law and simultaneously move their affections off
of Christ and onto their own good works (2 Cor. 11:12-15). To those
who are Christ’s, the enemy of souls seeks to remove our affection
from the One who bled to save us so that we don’t uphold in pure
worship “the Head” as first and foremost, supreme in our hearts
(Colossians 2:18-19).

Reducing “worship” to a certain day instead of openly worshiping Jesus
Christ “daily” as He instructed, is the work of satan.

Faith in the One who is now our Sabbath is what pleases God and not
any certain of the 7 days He created. Hebrews 4.

There is no instruction or even hint in all of the 27 books of the New
Testament Scriptures to observe any certain day. In fact, we are
warned about making days important instead of the One who made/makes
EVERY day.

“But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God,
how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye
desire again to be in bondage? 10 Ye observe days, and months, and
times, and years. 11 I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you
labour in vain.” Galatians 4:9-11

It is clear by the above passage that putting emphasis on a non-
essential endangers the eternal soul because in doing so, one takes
his affection from Christ the Creator and places it on His creation.

“Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served
the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.”
Romans 1:25

New Testament Christianity is all about putting and laboring to keep
Jesus Christ as our “first love.” (Revelation 2:4-5) Reducing our
responsibility down to observing a certain day is a blasphemous
attempt of “evil workers” of Satan to rob the glory from Jesus Christ
who bled to purchase us back to God. We are told to beware of these
“dogs … evil workers … the concision.”

“Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision. For
we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice
in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.” Philippians
3:2-3

Why do people insist upon making important what the LORD didn’t make
important for His New Testament saints? Reminds me of Matthew
23:23-24.

If keeping any certain day is important to the LORD under the New
Covenant, why did He not tell us so? Did the all-knowing, Almighty God
forget to tell us something we needed to know? Is not keeping the
sabbath named in any of the many lists of sins in the NT Scriptures?
No.

The keeping of a certain day, circumcision, or reenacting Jewish
festivals that merely foreshadowed Him who has now come for all
people, has no value if it doesn’t glorify the One who came and
fulfilled what those shadows merely pointed to. The shadow is not the
problem, but the over emphasis of it sure is. A shadow is like
sleeping with a picture of your wife instead of her. In other words,
let’s say your wife goes on a long trip and while she’s away you sleep
with her picture to feel close to her since you miss her. Then, when
she returns, you tell her to sleep in another room because the picture
of her will do. Selah friends. Rejecting the very Messiah whom those
shadows only served to point to BEFORE He came, is induced and
perpetrated by “the spirit of antichrist” which denies that Jesus
Christ has already come in the flesh (1 John 4:1-3).

“Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they
are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
2Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that
Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3And every spirit that
confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God:
and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it
should come; and even now already is it in the world.” 1 John 4:1-3

Paul repeatedly showed us that Satan uses evil judaizing wolves to
draw Christians back under law which means they no longer have saving
grace and are lost (Galatians 5:4; Philippians 3:3; Colossians
2:6-19).

There is no value in any feast other than that those Jewish feasts
served to point to the coming Messiah who has already come. So, what
if we try to hug a mere shadow? What substance is there? None, right?
Right. But, what if we embrace Jesus Christ, the Messiah who came,
died, was buried, and rose again?

For the Jews (not NT Christians), those things were instituted and
were mere “shadows” pointing to Christ Himself before He came, but now
He has ALREADY COME. He completed His work perfectly and put away the
law for righteousness and replaced that old covenant with His new
covenant which is based upon better promises (Hebrew 7-10; Colossians
2:14-17; Galatians 4:1-10). This is a basic truth of NT Christianity
and if the saint doesn’t get this in their heart, he can be vulnerable
to be deceived by judaizers as we are so often specifically warned
concerning.

The New Testament way to keep the sabbath is to rest fully in the
Sabbath Himself – Jesus Christ – everyday and not just one day per
week (Hebrews 4). Resting in Christ is our Sabbath. Resting in the
Messiah who has come means that we cease attempting to be righteous by
law keeping, participating in OT festivals and ceremonies, being good
enough in ourselves, or anything outside of Jesus. Keeping the law or
keeping a certain day has nothing to do with New Testament
Christianity. There is not one hint, instruction, or command in the 27
books of the NT Scriptures to keep any day. There is no virtue in such
(Romans 14:5).

Of the true Sabbath, Matthew Ong writes:

“The true and real Sabbath is hinted at in Hebrews iv.—’We which have
believed do enter into rest’ ….. He that is entered into his rest, he
also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.’ This is the
true and real Sabbath, of which the old Sabbath was a type. It
includes all the days from your conversion to death’s day. To work for
salvation is to break the Sabbath, the real Sabbath. We rest in all
this Sabbath. Moses directed them to stone one who had so much as
gathered a few sticks on this day; to show that we must not rest in
our own works, but our duty is to rest, REST, REST in Christ all our
days and in death.<<< TOTALLY Amen!!!”

Keeping the commandments of God does not include keeping any certain
day because He never made that important under His NEW Covenant.
Worshiping God is about a Person – not a time and place (John
4:20-24). Our worship is in the Spirit, namely in loving, obeying,
and communing with the Father and Jesus Christ – “truly our fellowship
is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.” (1 John 1:3)

Those who do play the part of a pharisee who makes important that
which God didn’t and in doing so, makes unimportant that which is
essential – “the weightier matters of the law.” (Matthew 23:23-24)

Where is the instruction in all the New Testament Scriptures telling
New Testament saints to worship on any certain day? Without such, you
are creating heresy which means you are unnecessarily sowing discord
among God’s people by over emphasizing something He never made an
essential out of.

There are a whopping 17 sins listed in the most complete list of sins
in all the New Testament Scriptures (Galatians 5:19-21). Yet, in this
list, there is no mention of any sin identified as not keeping a
certain day.

Did the Almighty forget to tell us something? Dare we call Him a
lunatic?

Luke 4:15-21
Why did God put into place a NEW Covenant that replaced the old
covenant He had with Israel? Is God a fool, or was there a purpose?
Are there different and unique laws governing that New Covenant? Yes.
Where re they located and learned? – In the New Testament Scriptures.

Under the New Covenant, there is no instruction to keep any certain
day and so, obeying God does not include resting on any certain day
but rather resting every day by faith in Christ, our Sabbath (Hebrews
4).

If Christ kept the sabbath it was to fulfill all righteousness and
then nail the old testament law and ordinances to the cross and take
them out of the way so we now rest in Him who is the only one to
“fulfill” (means expire) the law (Matthew 5:17). You must read this
passage once again with spiritual eyes wide open:

“Blotting out (obliterating) the handwriting of ordinances that was
against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way,
nailing it to his cross; 15 And having spoiled principalities and
powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. 16
Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of
an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: 17 Which are a
shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ. 18 Let no man
beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of
angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly
puffed up by his fleshly mind, 19 And not holding the Head, from which
all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and
knit together, increaseth with the increase of God.” Colossians
2:14-19

In their feigned worship, virtue from Heaven is absent due to their
open denial of Christ in the false humility of worshiping a day
instead of the One who gives us EVERY day.

The passage continues …

“Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world,
why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances, 21
(Touch not; taste not; handle not; 22 Which all are to perish with the
using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men? 23 Which things
have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and
neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the satisfying of the
flesh. If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are
above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. 2 Set your
affection on things above, not on things on the earth. 3 For ye are
dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, who is
our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.”
Colossians 2:20-23; 3:1-4

The keeping of a certain day for the Jewish people (not New Testament
Christians) was a mere “shadow” pointing to Christ Himself who is NOW
ALREADY COME. He completed His work perfectly and put away the law for
righteousness and replaced that old covenant with His new covenant
which is based upon better promises (Hebrew 7-10; Colossians 2:14-17;
Galatians 4:1-10) This is a basic truth of New Testament Christianity
and if the saint doesn’t get this in their heart, they can be
vulnerable to be deceived as we are so often specifically warned
concerning.

The New Testament way to keep the sabbath is to rest fully in the
Sabbath Himself – Jesus Christ – every day and not just one day per
week (Hebrews 4). Resting in Christ is our Sabbath. Resting in the
Messiah who has come means that we cease attempting to be righteous by
law keeping, participating in Old Testament festivals and ceremonies,

the law or keeping a certain day has nothing to do with New Testament
Christianity. There is not one hint, instruction, or command in the 27
books of the New Testament Scriptures to keep any day. There is no
virtue in such (Romans 14:5).

ONLY an evil, antichrist would reject Christ, the nail-scarred, risen
Messiah, for law keeping. Hell awaits! If you don’t keep all 613 Old
Testament laws, you are doomed. “For whosoever shall keep the whole
law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.” (James 2:10)
more below

Can you read? – “Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by
faith without the deeds of the law.” (Romans 3:28)

No longer saved – “Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever
of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.” (Galatians
5:4)

“THE END” – It’s over! – “For Christ is the end of the law for
righteousness to every one that believeth.” (Romans 10:4)

Trusting law for salvation is an open, brazen rejection and denial of
Christ and His finished work – “I do not frustrate the grace of God:
for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in
vain.” (Galatians 2:21)

The law-keeping heretic is the vilest kind of self-righteous, hell-
bound brazen rebel against the LORD who came and did what no man ever
did do – keep the whole law. Yet, He didn’t keep the law so we could
try to keep it, NO, He kept it so He could nail it to the cross and do
away with it and take it OUT of the way for ever (Col. 2:14-19).

Keeping any certain day is never – not once – mentioned in the New
Testament and those who tout such are doing so to foster self-
righteousness as they vainly imagine that they are more spiritual –
“holier than thou” than those who don’t keep the day they keep. Paul
warns against this (Col. 2:14-17).

“Which say, Stand by thyself, come not near to me; for I am holier
than thou. These are a smoke in my nose, a fire that burneth all the
day.” Isaiah 65:5

Keep the “Commandments”? – WHERE did Jesus or His holy apostles
COMMAND any New Testament believer to keep ANY certain day? Chapter
and verses?

Jesus was the only man to ever perfectly keep the law. He did this
then died on the cross to do away completely with the law as the means
for righteousness, “Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that
was against us, which was contrary to us, and TOOK IT OUT OF THE WAY
(gone forever), NAILING IT TO THE CROSS;” Colossians 2:14 Matthew
5:17 – Greek word for “fulfilled” means EXPIRED – which means to DO
AWAY WITH!

Jesus had to fulfill/expire the law then die to redeem us from it. He
told us NO where to go to church on a certain day (Sabbath keeping/law-
keeping). In fact, the Bible warns about making that important (Col.
2:14-18; Gal. 4:9-10).

Sabbath keeping (saturday) is NOT necessary for salvation so if you
are teaching such (that it is essential for salvation) you are in
error and need to repent and get saved!

The New Testament way to keep the Sabbath is to rest fully in the
Sabbath Himself – Jesus Christ – everyday and not just one day per
week (Heb. 4). Keeping a certain day has nothing to do with New
Testament Christianity. There is not one hint, instruction, or command
in the 27 books of the New Testament Scriptures to keep any day.

The keeping of a certain day for the Jewish people (not NT Christians)
was a mere “shadow” pointing to Christ who is NOW ALREADY COME. He
completed His work perfectly and put away the law for righteousness
and replaced that old covenant with His new covenant which is based
upon better promises. Hebrew 7-10; Colossians 2:14-17; Galatians
4:1-10

Did a day die for your sins? Was saturday buried after bleeding on the
cross for the sins of the world? Was a supposed sabbath sacrificed for
our sins and raised from the dead to justify us? OR, was the Son of
God?

JESUS BROKE THE SABBATH

John 9:16 Therefore said some of the Pharisees, This man is not of
God, BECAUSE he keepeth not the sabbath day. Others said, How can a
man that is a sinner do such miracles? And there was a division among
them.

John 5:18 Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he
not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his
Father, making himself equal with God.

Jesus IS the Sabbath rest of all who know Him BY FAITH, not by law-
observance! God justifies on the basis of faith and not keeping the
law. Jesus perfectly satisfied every jot and tittle of the law having
perfectly fulfilled it all and thereby nailed it to the cross – doing
away with it forever “to everyone that believeth.” (Romans 10:4)

True believers worship the One who made EVERY day and not a day. That
is the idolatry of worshiping the creation instead of the Creator.

GOD ACCEPTS PEOPLE ON THE BASIS ON FAITH IN CHRIST WHO PERFECTLY
ACCOMPLISHED AND DID AWAY WITH THE LAW AND NOT ON LAW-KEEPING OR
SABBATH-KEEPING

BEWARE: Seventh Day Adventism and other Sabbath-keeping, antichrist
cults and their dupes. Their organizations are antichrist cults. These
sabbath idolaters are duped pawns of Satan’s system of false teachings
that reject Christ’s finished work! They are pawns of the enemy of
souls and exist to steal the glory from Christ by putting the emphasis
on a small part of His whole creation – one of the seven days He
created. See Colossians 2:8-10, 14-19.

Jesus is our Sabbath or Rest …. He alone did all the work to merit our
salvation and we rest by faith in His finished work …… Amen LORD!

Though there are 27 books in the New Testament canon of Holy
Scripture, not one Holy Spirit inspired writer even hinted, much less
instructed us to keep a certain day of the week. Jesus certainly
didn’t and the apostle Paul in fact told us it had nothing to do with
salvation – “Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or
in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath
days.” (Col. 2:16)

Of course we are to keep Jesus’ commandments, but Jesus never, not
once, commanded us to keep any certain day. So, keeping Saturday is a
self-imposed law and that’s exactly what Paul is warning about in
Colossians 2 when he speaks of those who teach things that actually
draw people away from Jesus by pre-occupying them with frivolous non-
essentials that do not come from God – “Let no man beguile you of your
reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding
into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his
fleshly mind, And not holding the Head, from which all the body by
joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together,
increaseth with the increase of God.” (Colossians 2:18-19)

JESUS is the New Testament Sabbath – true Christians rest in Him from
trying to be righteous via the law of Moses. Otherwise, no one will be
saved from sin or hell.

Only 9 of the 10 carry over into the New Testament. JESUS is our
Sabbath – we rest in Him from the law for justification (Hebrews 4).
ALL of the other 9 of the 10 commandments are repeated in the New
Testament.

ANY person who pushes any certain sabbath day does not know the
Sabbath Himself – Jesus Christ.

That labor to enter into His rest does not include keeping any certain
day – otherwise He would have told us so.

No day has more significance than the other and anyone who teaches
that is leading you away from pure worship of the ONE who made all
days. Days were made to worship the Creator in and not to be
worshiped.

Those who promote the saturday sabbath have been deceived by a false
religion and system of theology. They are personally responsible and
will be judged. NOT ONCE did the LORD tell New Testament believers to
keep any certain day. You are teaching something contrary to
Scripture. You have no divine authority to teach this heresy. You are
stealing glory from the Lamb of God who is also the Creator of ALL
days and the only ONE worthy to be worshiped.

No amount of study is going to produce one suggestion much less
command from the New Testament Scriptures to keep any certain day. So
all study that says this is even important or a requirement is law
keeping and damnable legalism.

If you are blood-bought then you realize that “CHRIST is the END of
the law for righteousness.” (Rom. 10:4). SDA is a cult that over-
emphasizes minors and under-emphasizes major truths – Jesus says this
is the mark of a hell-bound wolf (Matt. 23:23).

Jesus taught that the whole law hinges on loving God and thy neighbor
– Matthew 22:37-40 – not keeping a certain day. In fact, He never
instructed anyone to keep any day but to keep Him first (Matthew
6:33).

We are to obey Jesus (Jn 14:15), but Jesus NEVER, not once, hinted to
us that we are to keep a saturday sabbath.

Where did Jesus or His apostles instruct any one to observe any
sabbath??? chapter and vs please? OR shut your stupid mouth and get
saved!

Does the sabbath day have nail-scarred hands and feet? did the sabbath
die and rise again to justify us? was the sabbath day sinless and the
only one qualified to fully pay for man’s sins? Is the sabbath day
coming back soon? get the point?

Glorifying a mere day instead of the ONE who made all days is gross,
antichrist, soul-damning idolatry. Christ nor His holy apostles ever
hinted much less instructed believers to observe a certain day of the
week…Heb 4 teaches us that the OT sabbath day was a mere inferior
shadow of what Christ is now the fulfillment – we rest in Him (He’s
our Sabbath) from trying to work for justification.

Jesus Christ the divine Person is not elevated by the Sabbath
idolaters….read Colossians 2 closely.

God could care less what day one of His children may choose to observe
for rest and worship as is crystal clear in the NT Scriptures (Col.
2:14-17). Jesus is our Sabbath, the Substance of what the OT
ceremonial observance merely foreshadowed (Heb. 10).

Only a senseless, devil-dominated, arrogant, ridiculous, derelict
would reject the Prince of Peace for a mere day.

There is NOT one hint, instruction, or command to observe any
specific day under the New Testament. Worshiping the LORD in spirit
and in truth “daily” is the Gospel Jesus gave us (Lk. 9:23-24). The
earliest Jewish believers didn’t wait around till the end of the week.
No, they fellowshipped “daily” (Acts 2:42-47) There is no mention even
one time of any deacon, disciple, or apostle in the NT Scriptures
telling anyone to observe a certain day. That was not and is not the
original Gospel / the apostolic Gospel.

Dabbling into sabbatarian cults is dangerous…there is a demon spirit
that rules over them…and if you go among them or commune with their
teachers you will be influenced and those demons are much stronger
than us….Christ Jesus truly is the END of the law and law keeping for
righteousness (Rom. 10:4)…He totally supersedes the inferior, obsolete
law… He is superior to all……there is no virtue in keeping a sabbath or
any part of the law in seeking to please God…it is only as we lay our
whole beings into His hands that His Holy Spirit raises us up and
after that fact we fulfill His Word (Rom. 3:31, 8:3-4).

Dear sabbath/law-keeping pharisee, I want to exhort you to cease
giving ear to any cult’s information and repent and turn to God
afresh, falling upon the mercy of God through the shed blood of Christ
and establishing that only Jesus and what He single handedly did can
save you…repent of placing emphasis on anything other than Him – read
Colossians 2 deeply and Galatians… Philippians 3:1-21

There is no devil so insidious and filthy as the Christ-rejecting, law-
keeping devil that has come to steal, to kill, and to destroy the
eternal souls of men by taking them away from simply faith in the
perfect work and saving mercy of God through our LORD Jesus Christ who
shed His precious blood on that tree and while He was doing so,
declared “It is finished” which simply means “Paid in full”! (John
19:30)

The Old Testament law was a mere schoolmaster to bring us to CHRIST
who is the only Salvation (Galatians 3:24). But Christ has come now!
Jesus fulfilled or expired – did away with the law – for righteousness
(Romans 10:4). The law is for the lawless – those not trusting
Christ’s perfect, finished work (John 19:30). While claiming to be
“Messianic” many today openly reject Christ by their attempt at law-
keeping. They deny that the Messiah came and fulfilled the law,
something no man has ever done and if he’s going to try, he’d better
keep all 613 laws of the Old Testament.

There is not even a hint of instruction in the New Testament
Scriptures to NEW Testament believers to observe a certain day but
rather to rest in Christ, our Sabbath Rest who fully accomplished
redemption by shedding His precious blood on the altar of the cross
and satisfied the claims of the Father’s justice perfectly.

What is the Christ-rejecting, law-keeping religionist saying by
insisting that there be a certain day to keep? It’s simple: he’s
saying that he is blind and that he is in open denial that the Messiah
has already come and fulfilled the law and did away with it with its
inferior “weak and beggarly elements” which when instituted were a
mere “shadow” of what was going to come and be the fulfillment of. The
Sabbath was the only ceremonial part of the ten commandments. The
other nine are moral and carried over into the New Testament. Or, all
ten carried over but the fourth is faith – resting in Christ and not
trying to keep the law for justification.

Not in one verse of scripture from romans to revelation.

NOT ONE VERSE!!!

And remember that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt, and that the
LORD thy God brought thee out thence through a mighty hand and by a
stretched out arm: therefore the LORD thy God commanded THEE [the JEWS
under the law] to keep the Sabbath day.

--Deut. 5:15

And the sabbath command was NOT given by God in the beginning as a
MANDATORY day of rest, but THROUGH MOSES as a MANDATORY rest day
commandment

Thou camest down also upon mount Sinai, and spakest with them from
heaven, and gavest them right judgments, and true laws, good statutes
and commandments:
And madest known unto them thy holy sabbath, and commandedst them
precepts, statutes, and laws, by the hand of Moses thy servant:
--Nehemiah 9:13-14.

God also spoke to Ezekiel and indicated the Sabbath was given to and for
the Jews in MOSES' time, not before:

Wherefore I caused them to go forth out of the land of Egypt, and
brought them into the wilderness.
And I gave them my statutes, and shewed them my judgments, which if a
man do, he shall even live in them.
Moreover also I gave them my sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them,
that they might know that I am the LORD that sanctify them.
--Ez. 20:10-12.

NO RECORD BY A "SINGLE ONE" OF THE CHURCH FATHERS???

We will prove that we worship him reasonably; for we have learned that
he is the Son of the true God himself, that he holds a second place, and
the Spirit of prophecy a third. For this they accuse us of madness,
saying that we attribute to a crucified man a place second to the
unchangeable and eternal God, the Creator of all things; but they are
ignorant of the mystery which lies therein.

CHURCH FATHER Justin Martyr around 160 AD

For the Church, although dispersed throughout the whole world even to
the ends of the earth, has received from the apostles and from their
disciples the faith in one God, the Father Almighty . . . and in one
Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who became flesh for our salvation; and in
the Holy Spirit

CHURCH FATHER Irenaeus, before 200 AD

And at the same time the mystery of the oikonomia is safeguarded, for
the unity is distributed in a TRINITY. Placed in order, the three are
the Father, Son, and Spirit. They are three, however, not in condition,
but in degree; not in being, but in form; not in power, but in kind; of
one being, however, and one condition and one power, because he is one
God of whom degrees and forms and kinds are taken into account in the
name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit"

CHURCH FATHER Tertullian "Against Praxeas" early 200s AD

The Father's Word, therefore, knowing the economy and the will of the
Father, to wit, that the Father seeks to be worshipped in none other way
than this, gave this charge to the disciples after he rose from the
dead: "Go ye and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the
Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost." (Matt 28:19) And by this
he showed that whosoever omitted any one of these, failed in glorifying
God perfectly. For it is through THE TRINITY that the Father is
glorified. For the Father willed, the Son did and the Spirit manifested.

CHURCH FATHER Hippolytus of Rome 220 AD

There is one God.... There is a perfect Trinity, in glory and eternity
and sovereignty, neither divided nor estranged. Wherefore there is
nothing either created or in servitude in the Trinity; nor anything
super-induced, as if at some former period it was non-existent, and at
some later period it was introduced. And thus neither was the Son ever
wanting to the Father, nor the Spirit to the Son; but without variation
and without change, the same Trinity abides ever.

CHURCH FATHER Gregory Thaumaturgus 265 AD

The purpose of this post is to show the actual truth about how ignorant
and unlearned Donna Kupp actually is, despite trying to pretend she is
some sort of legitimate historian on Chritianity.

Anyone who make THIS sort of claim...

> There is no record of the co-equal, co-eternal, three-in-one God
> being taught by a single one of the early church fathers. It
> was not a part of Christian teaching until it was formulated by the
> Second Ecumenical Council at Constantinople in 381.A.D.

...Has no business even giving an opinion on Christian history, let
alone teaching the Bible.

As wrong as she is about THIS, is as wrong as she is on every point of
theology she holds

As is always the case with heretics and cultists, the god of these
people must rely on his representatives speaking lie after lie in an
attemopt to deceive the sheep into following the false teacher and false
god behind the teacher.

But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his
subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is
in Christ.
For if he that cometh preacheth ANOTHER JESUS, whom we have not
preached, or if ye receive ANOTHER SPIRIT, which ye have not received,
or ANOTHER GOSPEL, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with
him.

--Apostle paul
