Hearing The Gospel
Frank
is quite a rare event these days
because in the several centuries
since the Protestant Reformation,
the Gospel has generally been
pushed aside by the ever popular
"gospel" of "salvation" by surrender.
The wonderful thing about hearing
the real Gospel is that there is
an opportunity there that can be
found no where else at all:
the opportunity to receive eternal life.
This is the real Gospel, the Scriptural Gospel,
the Gospel that Christ showed to enable
the Protestant Reformation:
The moment Jesus Christ, who is God,
the Son of God, enables us to trust him
alone to be our righteousness for salvation,
our Righteous Substitute who lived for us,
died for us, and rose again, our Substitute now
and forever, that moment we have eternal life.
(Romans 3:21-26, Romans 4:1-8, Romans 5:18-19)
Now for those who suppose that this is
the popular "gospel" that they generally
hear today, the vast difference between
the popular false "gospel" and the real Gospel
is in numerous articles at my website, and they
should look to the Lord Jesus to enable them
to understand and believe the real Gospel
so that they have eternal life.
