Arguments that such methods can be used for good, are just attempts to
set aside that warning.
It is also ignoring the danger, and legal liability that the church is
creating for itself, that it can be sued, those that are using such
methods can be arrested, and if anyone commits suicide, they even have
the possibility of being responsible for second degree manslaughter,
since this is practicing unliscensed, illegal psychology/hypnosis
without a liscense or consent.
And there is also the possiblility that the church might create monstors
like David Koresh.
By the way, David Koresh did attend the hawaiian Seventh Day Adventist
Church befor waco, and there is a possiblity that he was one of the
church's NLP victims.

controling about NLP. There are techniques in NLP that do not "rape the
mind" as you put it. Would it help if they were put under a different name.
I think your point of view would change if this were so. Other then that I
agree with almost everything you are saying. Some are mind controling others
aren't, do not throw everything in the same bag. By the way did you know
music is can induce altered states of consciousness and even hypnotize you?
Stay away from music with all the will power you have.
Of course I being sarcastic, but that is the way your arguement is coming
across to me, silly. Taking an extreme on an issue does not make or help you
to be righteous. I am not for mind control, its a science of the Devil. Not
everything in NLP is mind contoling. Infact you can use something good, like
the bible, and do bad things with it. Am I making sense? I are agreeing, but

not hypnosis. However, the entire purpose of nlp, is to plant
suggestions which are re inforced with conditioning, called anchor
points. It is something that has no business in a church, and the
Adventist church has taken a major step in the direction of cult like
activity by bringing it into the church. NLP persons also argue that NLP
is just a system of communication. Such arguments are so much nonsense.
It is really a method of hypnosis, but just using different methods
which are much more covert and hard for the subject to detect a nlp
attack. It is a system designed for the user of it to gain control of
anothers mind. I could argue that the use of looking at a bright light,
or looking at a watch swinging back and forth is not hypnosis, Such an
argument would be absurd if a church was bringing in materials on how to
gain control of anothers mind, and those materials used such methods.
We could argue that since the paper that hypnosis books are printed on
is good paper, that it should be brought into the church, but that would
be silly.

The fruit of leading the church to devil posession by bringing NLP and

Assurance of salvation: I am saved
Adventists are currently confused on this topic. The GC President,
Robert Folkenburg has been on a campaign teaching the importance of
having the assurance of salvation.
Many Adventists recognized a danger in what he has been teaching, and
that it does not harmonize with the bible. (English-KJV)

did not have this assurance of salvation that Robert Folkenberg
promotes, which is error according to the bible. (Paul here does not
teach once saved, always saved. Instead, he teachs the possibility of

Salvation is not a one time thing as some think, instead, it is an on
going process, and those that think they are saved, and it is all over,
can end up being lost.

not go forward from victory to victory, the soul will draw back to
perdition. We should raise no human standard whereby to measure
character. We have seen enough of what men call perfection here below.
God's holy law is the only thing by which we can determine whether we
are keeping His way or not. If we are disobedient, our characters are
out of harmony with God's moral rule of government, and it is stating a
falsehood to say, "I am saved." No one is saved who is a transgressor of
the law of God, which is the foundation of His government in heaven and
in earth.

the last ray of hope from the soul if there were no Saviour provided for
man; but the truth as it is in Jesus, is a savor of life unto life.

and not that he might be at liberty to break God's holy law, as Satan
tries to make men believe. Through faith in Christ, man may be in

must have to fit them to live in the sight of a holy God. Those who
refuse to be hewed by the prophets and fail to purify their souls in
obeying the whole truth, and who are willing to believe that their
condition is far better than it really is, will come up to the time of
the falling of the plagues, and then see that they needed to be hewed
and squared for the building. But there will be no time then to do it
and no Mediator to plead their cause before the Father. Before this time
the awfully solemn declaration has gone forth, "He that is unjust, let
him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still:
and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is
holy, let him be holy still." I saw that none could share the
"refreshing" unless they obtain the victory over every besetment, over
pride, selfishness, love of the world, and over every wrong word and
action. We should, therefore, be drawing nearer and nearer to the Lord
and be earnestly seeking that preparation necessary to enable us to
stand in the battle in the day of the Lord. Let all remember that God is
holy and that none but holy beings can ever dwell in His presence. 72
Make no effort to overcome sin
Hypnosis and NLP mind control methods.
We see above that the Adventist church is day by day adding new errors,
and departing from the truth. NLP is hypnosis, it is just a different
method of inducing hypnosis, and I certainly do not seperate them, or
make a distinction, other than NLP makes use of conditioned responses.
NLP is mind rape. Churchs that involve themselves in it are taking
another dangerous step in cult like activity. It is seeking to have
control of the chuch members minds, something that is opposed to the
teachings of the bible. The bible teaches "the truth shall make you
free" NLP used in churchs is for the purpose of making minds
slaves to the church leadership. It opens a door for all types of abuse,
including financial and sexual, as pointed out by Mrs white in the book
Ministry of Healing, 2nd page of chapter "mind cure" Mrs white stated
the science of mind controling mind was a hellish science, and also
stated such materials were forbiden to be in any of our institutions.
But we now have Adventist Universitys that provide such materials to
their students, materials stated to lead to devil possesion, and a
hellish science and forbiden. They argue that students need to have such
materials to study and quote. Are they really so naive, that they do
not realize that some of thier students will likely attempt to use these
methods on other students, and even the church leaders?? And do they
really believe that students must quote materials that lead to devil
possession? That would require the students studying the material, and
Mrs white said such material should not be studied, or in any of our
institutions. The church leadership is also at risk of being arrested,
and a class action lawsuit brought against it. The leaders are in
violation of the law when they use such methods. Most ministers and
church leaders, or members do not have the training or proper license to
engage in such methods, and they do not have the consent of the
individuals, like a psycologist has when one comes for treatment. This
is amateur psycology, a dangerous and illegal practice. They can be
sued for any psycological problems that occur when such methods are
used, and sued for using illegal psycotherapy and illegal methods, and
failure to obtain consent, a human rights violation of the church. A
church is operating outside the law to engage in such activitys. Consent
is mandatory, to not have it and use such methods is mind rape. Such
methods appeal to base and corrupt church leaders, that want to have
power over the membership. It gives tools into the hands of future Jim
Jones and David Koresh type cult leaders to gain even greater power over
their cult followers. Can you imagine how dangerous these persons would
of been if they were supplied with the Hypnosis, NLP, and Brain washing
materials that are being supplied to Adventist students? Adventists are
going to eventually reap the harvest of this illegal activity, and
forbidden methods, and it will not be a harvest that they will
appreciate.
How wide spread is the hypnosis problem? Most Adventists universitys are
now involved in it, Southern, Walla Walla, Loma Linda even Andrews
University, and also PUC as indicated by thier library's card catalogs.

very dangerous cult like activity on the part of the Seventh Day

included in the Remnant? I am under this impression. Can a true Adventist
clarify this? Will others, according to the SDA belief, be included in the
Remnant?
If the answer is "no, SDAs only are the Remnant" then what does that mean
about other groups who also claim exclusive membership in the Remnant? How
is it determined who is right and who is wrong?
Personally, my belief is that the so-called Remnant will be composed of
true believers and followers of Jesus...and that the "label" of the church
where they worship will have no bearing on their inclusion into the true
Remnant of God.
God does not limit Himself to one group! He has true followers who wear
many different labels, and are true believers, sometimes in spite of their
labels! We are on very slippery ground when we attach supreme "saving"
importance to anybody's label.

have to come out of confusion.they are or will in the near future be
sealed.they come from the ranks of all religions and non believer
faiths.they will with one accord believe in sabbath issues etc,some or

the truth of what his church teaches, and suggests I am not of the
remnant because I tell the truth, that he would like to suppress, so he
continues to try to label me as a member of groups that most Adventists
are very much against, even though I have already told him I was not a
member of any group.
He also starts this computer recording post at about the same time,
which I think is another attempt to intimidate persons put out in a
veiled way, suggesting we better watch what we say or we might go to
court.
Don, The bible says, the truth shall set you free. You want to stop
me from sharing the truth. Non Adventists have the right to know that
your church teaches that hypnosis is going to be used the church
members.
They also have a right to know the other things I have spoken about so
they will be on guard against evil Seventh Day Adventist leaders.
Your church can not take someone to court very well for showing what
your own church teaches, and if they do, they will be mocked from one
end of the earth to the other, and even more people will know of what
Adventists teach.
A court case like that will go to international news, and be a top tv
story.
I suggest you start open mindedly looking into just what your church
teaches, because as a member, you should know.

practice hypnosis/mind control/nlp methods on persons without their
consent. It will leave your church wide open for law suits.
I have never said that all ministers are going to use hypnosis, but have
pointed out that your church is deeply involved in hypnosis/nlp and is
already violating your own churchs teachings by having these mind
control books in your university and some college librarys. Also, your
Andrews University James White library is heavily involved, and Andrews
University trains a large percentage of Adventist ministers.
In addition, your church developed a program called reclaiming church
members and NLP books were sold and involved. NLP is a very covert
method of hypnosis.

What I have posted is that the church did become involved in nlp,
which is a form of hynosis, and had workshops called recaliming members,
lab 1 and lab 2 and other names, and also sold NLP books in the church,
and in addition, that almost all Adventist schools are supplying their
students with materials that the church teaches lead to devil possesion,
and also Mrs Whites statement that the leaders of the church would make
a hypnosis attack on those attending church in the last days, and this
would be Satans attempt to decieve even the very elect.

With all due respect sir, I believe that, though your quotes are accurate,
they may have been taken out of context. It seems to me that these
passages are a warning to those in the church. Is it not conceivable that
this could happen in any church? I believe that there is a great deal to
be gained from understanding the context of her writing. I don't believe
Mrs. White was promoting this type of ministry. There is no doubt in my
mind that as the second coming approaches these events will occur. But by
no means will Satan limit this "spiritual" warfare to the SDA church. The
only way to truly overcome Satan power of hypnosis is through a personal
relationship with Jesus Christ. Satan cannot stand in the presence of
Christ. Once again, so much is gained by a thorough study of the context

I have already posted that Mrs White did not advocate Hypnotism being
used, but instead said it leads to devil possesion of both those that
use it, and those it is used on. See Ministry of Healing 2 page of

While this is true, however, you are told there is a time to seperate,
and also that there are situations that you are not to go into, unless

in unity with the sinners in the Adventist church, or these many
Adventist false prophets ministers and church leaders that will use

We also are not to attend such meetings, unless God sends us there.

Supplement I was shown the necessity of those who believe that we are
having the last message of mercy, being separate from those who are
daily imbibing new errors. I saw that neither young nor old should
attend their meetings; for it is wrong to thus encourage them while they
teach error that is a deadly poison to the soul and teach for doctrines
the commandments of men. The influence of such gatherings is not good.
If God has delivered us from such darkness and error, we should stand
fast in the liberty wherewith He has set us free 125 and rejoice in the
truth. God is displeased with us when we go to listen to error, without
being obliged to go; for unless He sends us to those meetings where
error is forced home to the people by the power of the will, He will not
keep us. The angels cease their watchful care over us, and we are left
to the buffetings of the enemy, to be darkened and weakened by him and
the power of his evil angels; and the light around us becomes

There can be a time, when one should not attend Adventist churchs,
unless God sends a person to those meetings.
We really should be seeking God's guidance on where to go, instead of
just going to church meetings like described above.

What i posted was research on the topic, after some other person had
posted your church teaching on the subject of masterbation, making fun
of it. Those that want to may read my post below, and realize your
charges against me are without merit.
You seem to be against what your church teaches. You want to make the
warning that we are to be seperate from sin and sinners, mean that we

If your a member of a church, then you should know what your church
