One can only imagine the outrage if this comment would have been reversed. I
suppose the indignation would be appropriately deafening if someone had entitled
a book “Stupid black men.”
MICHAEL MOORE ISN’T YOUR AVERAGE MILLIONAIRE CELEBRITY. His oafish, disheveled
appearance is both physically and intellectually disengaging, so much so that
you might not take him very seriously. You should. Ostensibly, Moore exposes the
hypocrisy and misconduct of establishment figures through his films, TV shows
and books. In reality, Moore, whose political stance is uncommonly demented,
obtuse and juvenile, uses kamikaze journalism to further a clear and precarious
agenda.
To distinguish himself from the flock of privileged leftist gadflies that litter
the progressive causes, Moore likes to emphasize his working class Michigan
upbringing. (Though from all accounts he never labored very hard himself, save
one day on a Buick assembly line.) Despite his open hatred of the rich, Moore
has few qualms about aping an authentic capitalist, peddling his new book,
Stupid White Men... and Other Sorry Excuses for the State of the Nation, on
seemingly all news, entertainment and radio show running...
Mr. Moore, deluded into believing his fan base “is made up of working stiffs,”
is an advocate of a 70 percent tax rate, infinite governmental expansion and
regulations, rivaling Ralph Nader -- whom he vigilantly campaigned for in 2000.
From the privileged confines of the Upper West Side of Manhattan, this
guilt-ridden progressive with a six-figure deal book deal proposes to double the
tax burden on American working class without a hint of sarcasm.
In his ‘Letter to Elián González,’ Moore further illustrates his allegiance to
the working class, this time the Cuban Americans of Miami, by defending Castro’s
communist regime. Cuba, Moore writes, is a haven where children are only in
jeopardy “of receiving free health …an excellent education in one of the few
countries that has 100% literacy, and a better chance of your baby sister being
born and making it to her first birthday than if she had been born in
Washington, D.C.”
Moore’s enthusiasm with communism extends into popular culture. He directed a
video for the now defunct-communist band, Rage Against the Machine. Rage -- who
must have set aside their left-wing values long enough to ink a multi-million
dollar deal with Sony records – feature a reading list on their website that
includes some of counterculture’s recent champions: Noam Chomsky, Howard Zinn
and Susan Faludi. The site also features some more noteworthy ‘readings’ like
Lenin’s ‘State and the Revolution,’ Che Guevera’s ‘Guerilla Warfare,’ and Karl
Marx’s ‘Capital, Volume One.
Now, five pages of Marx’s Capital may be sufficient enough reading to turn
anyone away from communism, certainly the ‘working stiffs’ that Moore believes
constitute his fan base. However, most media outlets have failed to properly
define the nature of Moore’s agenda... <END>

The Communist Party USA and the Revolutionary Communist Party had a nasty
ideological split years ago as one faction lined up behind Moscow and the Soviet
Union and the other with and China's Mao Zedong.
They still have violent disagreements over goals and tactics, but they agree on
one thing. Michael Moore's "Fahrenheit 9/11" rules.
The film got a rave review yesterday in the Communist Party USA's newspaper
People's Weekly World...
"The movie is a documentary that the American people themselves are a part of,"
explained the paper. "It follows the dark history of the Bush administration,
hatched from the rotten egg of a stolen election. It shines a light on the dark
corners of the Bush family’s brazen disenfranchisement of tens of thousands of
African American voters in Florida, the Bushes’ early – and oily – alliance with
the ruling Saudi families, including the Bin Ladens, and the unspeakable toll on
America’s working-class families."
A companion story, reported on a party member who sat in on a conference call
chat with Moore organized by Moveon.org in which it claims 54,975 people
participated...

Karl Marx, the son of Hirschel and Henrietta Marx..
In January 1846 Marx set up a Communist Correspondence Committee. The
plan was to try and link together socialist leaders living in different parts of
Europe. Influenced by Marx's ideas, socialists in England held a conference in
London where they formed a new organization called the Communist League. Marx
formed a branch in Brussels and in December 1847 attended a meeting of the
Communist League' Central Committee in London. At the meeting it was decided
that the aims of the organization was "the overthrow of the bourgeoisie, the
domination of the proletariat, the abolition of the old bourgeois society based
on class antagonisms, and the establishment of a new society without classes and
without private property".
When Marx returned to Brussels had concentrated on writing The Communist
Manifesto. Based on a first draft produced by Friedrich Engels called the
Principles of Communism, Marx finished the 12,000 word pamphlet in six weeks.
Unlike most of Marx's work, it was an accessible account of communist ideology.
Written for a mass audience, The Communist Manifesto summarized the forthcoming
revolution and the nature of the communist society that would be established by
the proletariat. The Communist Manifesto was published in February, 1848.

Abortion rights march bashes Bush policies

Both before and during the rally, organizers and the public figures they
enlisted described Bush's policies as an all-out, persistent assault on
reproductive rights. They branded him as the first U.S. president to sign into a
law a federal ban on abortion, the 2003 legislation outlawing so-called
partial-birth abortions...
As they walked down Constitution Avenue, the Nebraska delegation chanted "Bush
and Cheney have got to go" along with "My body -- my choice" and other
pro-abortion rights slogans. Some wore badges in support of John Kerry's
presidential Democratic Party nomination...
[P]rogressive groups predictably dominated the list of organizations backing the
march -- from the Democratic National Committee to groups of young Democrats to
the Green Party. The rally was co-sponsored by the Socialists Worker's Party and
the Communist Party USA...
In their brief addresses, female members of Congress and celebrities, such as
Amy Brenneman of TV's "Judging Amy," touched on issues including equal pay and
violence against women, but also the war in Iraq and the overall performance on
civil rights by the Bush administration. Mentions of the president repeatedly
brought boos from the audience...
At the march, anti-war groups danced to the rhythm of drums, and gay rights
activists held banners saying, "Gay marriage is a civil right." Voter
registration teams met marchers along the route, which took them in front of the
gates to the White House.
From the podium, numerous celebrities, such as actresses Julianne Moore and
Whoopi Goldberg, urged the marchers to vote in November. As "Vote Kerry" banners
swayed in front of her, Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., encouraged those present
to elect the Democratic Party presidential candidate...
The anti-abortion rights side also did not steer clear of election politics.
Vice President Dick Cheney attended a National Right to Life event in Washington
on Tuesday and infuriated pro-abortion rights activists with his statement that
"America still has some distance to travel" in terms of regulating abortion.
Then, during the Friday news conference of anti-abortion rights groups, Carol
Tobias, political director for the National Right to Life Committee,
congratulated Bush and his administration on their performance on abortion
issues.
"We're Bush all the way," said Mary Jost, who had driven from New York state
with her husband and held a banner with graphic images of aborted fetuses on the
sidewalk of Pennsylvania Avenue. "Taking a life is not right," she said. Other
counter-marchers also openly expressed their support for the current president.

Fox vs. Franken

“FRANKEN IS NEITHER A JOURNALIST nor a television news personality,” reads the
trademark lawsuit filed this week by the Fox News Channel against leftist
humorist Al Franken.
“He is not a well-respected voice in American politics,” the complaint
continues. “Rather, he appears to be shrill and unstable. His views lack any
serious depth or insight.”
At the heart of this lawsuit are three words, “fair and balanced.” Fox, part of
Rupert Murdoch’s News Corporation, says it registered “Fair & Balanced” (using
an ampersand, a symbol meaning “and”) as a trademark in 1995 and has spent the
equivalent of $41 million since then promoting this slogan as a brand by which
viewers identify its channel.
Franken and Penguin Books are scheduled next month to publish his latest book,
the title of which is Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them: A Fair and
Balanced Look at the Right.
The book’s cover pictures Franken in what appears to be a television network
control room. It depicts TV monitors, in one of which the face of Fox News star
Bill O’Reilly is seen – just beneath the book title word “Lies.”
Fox lawyers say that this cover “mimics the look and style” of two best-selling
books by O’Reilly. (According to Matt Drudge, O’Reilly “lobbied” his network to
sue Franken, with whom he had verbal fisticuffs recently at the annual
convention of the American Booksellers Association.)
The lawsuit argues that by expropriating Fox’s trademark and using O’Reilly’s
image and book cover style, Mr. Franken intended to deceive people into buying
his book. This would “blur and tarnish” the journalistic good name of Fox News
Channel.
“The court papers,” writes the New York Times, “refer to Mr. Franken…as a
‘parasite’ who hopes to use Fox’s reputation to confuse the public and boost
sales of his book.”

So who is Al Franken, and why is he worth this attention that will sell yet more
of his books and boost his speaking fees?
Al Franken grew up in flatland Minnesota, the land of the loon and 10,000 taxes
and a very, very liberal Democratic Party that spawned Hubert Humphrey, Walter
Mondale and Paul Wellstone. He is a graduate of Harvard College. Married for
more than 20 years, he is father to a son and daughter.
In 1975 Lorne Michaels hired Franken and partner Tom Davis as writers for a
strange new TV show called “Saturday Night Live” (SNL). In his early years with
SNL, Franken reportedly has acknowledged, he was “not addicted” but was a user
of mind-altering drugs, including LSD and cocaine. They also performed on-air
skits as “The Franken & Davis Show.”
Transcripts of those skits, which reveal Franken’s deepest core values, can be
hard to find. A synopsis of one that aired October 21, 1978, during the show’s
fourth season, reads: “Franken and Davis are International Communist
revolutionaries, calling for the overthrow of the U.S. gov’t – they act out the
campaign of two corrupt nominees for congress.”
In another, the transcript of a 1978-aired “Saturday Night Live” skit
co-authored and approved by Franken includes this inserted message by an
announcer: “’The Franken & Davis Show’ is brought to you by the International
Communist Party: Sooner or later, you’ll be a Communist. And now…here’s Al &
Tom.”
Yes, the Court Jester Al Franken would smile at this and say, “Laugh it up,
folks. These are the jokes.”
But what if this fake ad had said instead: “brought to you by the International
Nazi Party: Sooner or later, you’ll be a Nazi.” Would that be a laughing matter?
Socialist Adolf Hitler murdered 12 million people, including six million Jews,
in his concentration and death camps. Soviet socialists murdered 17 million
people by systematic starvation in the Ukraine alone. According to the Black
Book of Communism, over the past 100 years Communist governments in Russia,
China, Cuba, Eastern Europe and elsewhere have murdered at least 100 million
human beings. (Most serious scholars concur.)

drink. Because Al Franken’s socialist politics different only in degree from
those of the late Soviet Union, he took delight in praising Communism repeatedly
in his skits on “Saturday Night Live.” Laugh it up, folks. Sooner or later,
you’ll be a Communist.

In 2000, Franken did speechwriting for Democratic presidential candidate Vice
President Al Gore, while 35-year-old feminist Naomi Wolfe was dressing Gore in
earth tones like her own boy Barbie doll.
For Franken, an ardent leftist, the experience must have been remarkable. He
was invited to fill Gore’s head with Franken ideas and witticisms. And, as his
book title implies, Franken must have found himself thinking: “I’m a lot smarter
than this Doofus, who could become President of the United States!”
It must be heartbreaking for Al Franken to be allowed to sit catching crumbs
near the King’s table in the Democratic Party because he so fashionably wears
the clown costume and bells of the Court Jester. But all the while Franken
hungers to be the King’s chief policymaker – or even the King himself.
(Subservient to the Democratic Party Line, Franken probably cheered this week
when Nader got a pie in the face, probably from a Democrat operative furious
over the 92,000 Nader Florida votes that cost Al Gore the presidency in 2000 and
eager to make Nader appear ridiculous before 2004.)
Pity Al Franken, with his life falling between two stools. Comedy made him
famous, but it also prevents him from ever being taken seriously. He is
fanciful, but for that very reason is too unrealistic for realpolitik. And now,
with ambition and an obsolete, sour Leftist ideology gnawing at his gut like a
hungry gerbil, Franken is becoming too nasty, spiteful and hateful even to be
funny.
The one thing that will give his new book a measure of success is that it speaks
to a similar frustration and spite among other failed zealots of the Democratic
Party and related loony leftists who cannot accept that capitalism has won, that
Republicans will remain in power for the foreseeable future, that their beloved
Soviet Union has gone down the garbage disposal of history. Filled with
irrational hate and rage, they will rush to buy the book of someone like Franken
willing to throw envious insults at President George W. Bush and the others who
have left the Left behind.
Franken-politics, as others say of Franken-foods, is a mutant breed. Al Franken
has become a crank, a ranting aging demagogue who wound up on the losing side of
history and now verbally flails moronically as, with each passing day, his
political and intellectual impotence become more obvious.
On their biggest lawsuit issue, the Fox lawyers are absolutely right: you are a
parasite, Al Franken. All socialists are, for they depend on theft to provide
the wealth they then redistribute – with much of it going into their own
pockets. Fox succeeded in making its brand valuable. You now want to
expropriate some of that value for yourself by mimicking and mocking it. Rather
than build a house yourself, you force your way into the house somebody else
constructed with years of hard labor.
The larger lesson here, as Jacob Bronowski wrote in The Ascent of Man about
Genghis Khan’s marauding horde, is that thieves like you always fail in the end.
The reason is that you do not plant trees or create wealth or generate ideas
that improve the lot of humankind. You only steal what others have earned.
Al Franken is what he and fellow socialists, by Freudian projection, accuse
capitalists of being – mosquitoes that live by stealing the blood of others,
parasites. In Bronowski’s phrase, you ultimately are empty and worthless, like
the whirlwind.
That is what we need to recognize as the nature of every socialist down through
history. But to Al Franken’s credit, he does write books that people pay for
voluntarily. He has made himself very wealthy by selling junky, derivative
ideas, but people have been willing to buy them. Sooner or later maturity will
arrive, Al Franken, and you’ll be a capitalist.

The southern Democrats must be thrilled by the news that the Communist Party of
The United States of America, CPUSA, is publicly supporting the election of John
Kerry.
The CPUSA has made available on its Web site, cpusa.org, an advertisement
entitled Top Ten Reasons To Defeat Bush. This advertisement can be downloaded.
The communist party urges readers to place this ad in local newspapers
throughout the country to defeat President Bush.
Remarkably, the "Top Ten Reasons" of the Communist party are identical to those
of the Democratic party; out-sourcing, homosexual rights, abortion and the like.
At first, I thought "this is only a coincidence." The Democratic party of the
United States couldn't be in lock step with the Marxists! So, I wrote to a
spokesman of the CPUSA in Georgia and here is part of his letter:
" The CPUSA supports the John Kerry campaign with donations and volunteer
effort. We believe that defeating George Bush is the single most important issue
this November ..."
Next, I discovered that one of Kerry's campaign themes is " Let America be
America Again."

it, a third discovery!
A Vietnam vet group took a trip to Communist Hanoi to investigate a report that
John Kerry was in the "Hanoi Hall of Fame." Yes, there is a museum in Hanoi with
a section dedicated to foreign activists who help defeat the United States
Military in Vietnam. Of course, you would expect Jane Fonda's picture to be
there. But, alas, there is John Kerry's picture shaking the hand of a communist
official.
Never has there been such a tragedy.
Never has there been such a threat to America. The Democratic party has been
taken over by the far, far left!
Not only the communists but the homosexual activists who are appalled that
George Bush is married to a woman! They are enraged that the president wants a
constitutional amendment to protect traditional marriage between a man and
woman.
Then we have the ACLU running to a federal activist judge with every piece of
legislation that doesn't fit into their leftist agenda. They support every
Democratic socialist whim. The removal of the Ten Commandments is their top
priority!
Why can't our children read? The liberal NEA runs the government schools. You
can't mention God or the Ten Commandments, but you can teach Islam and have the
children pray to Allah and pass out condoms. The teachers union is solidly
behind the Democratic candidate, John Kerry.
How about the AFL-CIO? Solidly Democratic. How about the press? Solidly behind
the left.
Case in point: Viacom owns CBS and Dan Rather. Dan is really the president of
the American Leftist Establishment. Every night Dan informs the country what we,
the troops and the president did wrong that day. His boss, Viacom, just happens
to own the company that published Richard Clark's attack on George Bush and
company. Clarke was the hero of the 9-11 hearing. Viacom pushed up the
publication date of Clark's book to coincide with the hearings.
Oh, by the way, Viacom not only owns CBS and Dan Rather, but MTV!
Yes, the same MTV that featured Janet Jackson's breast at the Super Bowl half
time!
Hollywood? There might be one or two votes for Bush from the filmmakers. But
don't count on it. Michael Moore's "Fahrenheit 9/11" propaganda film hurt the
president. Impressionable youth fall victim to lies.
But, not to worry.
Truth means nothing to the Left.
The quality of character of the Hollywood crowd is best illustrated by the
recent antics of the starlet Britney Spears. After her 24-hour marriage, Britney
is now engaged to a loser who left his unmarried, pregnant girlfriend and little
child. There was not one eyebrow raised by the Hollywood-infatuated Network
News. This is normal behavior for the left.
The deck is really stacked against the re-election of President Bush.
Now even the mass murderer Saddam Hussein agrees with Kennedy and Kerry that the
president is a criminal. Before the election in November the press will clean up
Hussein to look like a saint and George W. Bush a gangster.
John Kerry promises to save the union by going to the UN. Kerry may have to deal
with Muslim Kofi Annan's son, Kojo, who received "consultant" fees from Swiss
company, Cotecna, which oversaw Iraq's Oil-For-Food program. Some of the $10
billion that was funneled through the "family run" UN program ended up in al
Taqwa and Asat Trust, two of al-Qaida's front organizations. Funny, there are
al-Qaida in Florida and the UN, but not in Iraq! Alas, but who is chopping off
heads in Iraq?
While the bulk of our National Guard are over seas fighting terrorist, every
leftist weirdo is coming out of the closet to hi-jack the November presidential
election.
The question is: What are the "real" southern Democrats going to do?
Will they join the CPUSA, NEA, ACLU and a host of other radical leftist groups
or help save the country from this mob.
