Sexual Immorality

Before declaring things to be 'moral' or 'immoral',
we must first understand the concept of morality
and why it is valid. 'Moral' is defined as that
which is "concerned with goodness or badness of
human character or behaviour, or with the
distinction between right and wrong." [Oxford
Dictionary] Notice that the given definition
assumes the existence of goodness, badness, right,
and wrong -- but who is qualified to decree things
as such?

Legitimate Authority: The owner of a thing is the
only legitimate authority over said thing. Who owns
humans? Their creator. If humans have no creator,
then no one owns them; if no one owns them, then no
one has authority over them, making the concept of
morality null and void, since no one has the
legitimate authority to decree rights and wrongs.
On the other hand, if God created humans, then he
owns them; if he owns them, then he has legitimate
authority over them -- he is qualified to decree
rights and wrongs regarding his property.

Nature of Morals: Morals, by their nature, are
absolute; that is, something that is wrong is wrong
at all times and in all places; something that is
right is right at all times and in all places.
Thus, morals cannot change from time to time or
from place to place. For example, if murder is
wrong, then it is wrong always and wrong
everywhere. Whenever a person speaks of morals, he
is speaking of absolutes -- and must therefore call
upon an absolute source to validate his
assertion(s).

Source of Morals: Since morals cannot change from
time to time or from place to place, they must be
absolute -- and therefore they must issue from an
absolute source. That is, morals must come from
truth, since truth is the only absolute, being the
only thing which has always been, will always be,
and never changes. According to the Bible, God is
truth, which is the only absolute: "Jesus said to
him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life.'"
[John 14:6] Without truth, there is no absolute.
Without an absolute issuer of rights and wrongs,
the concept of morality and immorality is invalid.

God and Sex: God has one major commandment dealing
with human sexual relations: "You shall not commit
adultery." [Exodus 20:14] Adultery is any sexual
relation outside of marriage; and marriage is
between one man and one woman. God approves of sex
within marriage; sex outside of marriage is
referred to as 'sexual immorality'. Sexually
immoral persons will not enter into eternity, but
will be destroyed in the second (permanent) death:
"But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable,
murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters,
and all liars shall have their part in the lake
which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the
second death." [Revelation 21:8]

Warning to Homosexuals: The following section of
text deals with homosexuality. I am writing this
passage because homosexuality has become very
prevalent in the world. If you are a practicing
homosexual and are content with your lifestyle,
please refrain from reading this section; if,
however, you are a practicing homosexual who wishes
to obtain life eternal as prescribed by the LORD
God, please continue reading. I issue this warning
because I have observed that homosexuals tend to be
extremely emotional and hypersensitive to
criticism.

Male and Female: In Genesis 1:27, God created man
male and female as complements to each other for
the purposes of compatibility, companionship, and
reproduction; God then gave man his purpose: "Be
fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue
it." [Genesis 1:28] In Revelation 6:11, we see that
God desires a certain number of humans to inherit
his divine nature -- and Satan (God's adversary)
knows this. Therefore, in a bid to destroy mankind,
Satan is currently trying to convince humans that
there are no differences between the two sexes, so
that one may take the place of the other, which
leads to homosexual unions, resulting in a
diminishing human population, contrary to God's
command to 'be fruitful and multiply'. God gave us
seed, not to spend in vain, but to plant in fertile
ground.

Homosexuality: Homosexuality is sexual immorality:
"If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman,
both of them have committed an abomination. They
shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be
upon them." [Leviticus 20:13] Please note that the
above law says nothing about sexual orientation; if
any man lies with any other man, they have both
committed sexual immorality -- regardless of their
sexual orientation, whether they be heterosexual,
bisexual, homosexual, or of some other persuasion:
Action is judged, not the label you may choose to
put upon yourself. No sexually immoral person will
enter into heaven: "Do you not know that the
unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do
not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor
idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor
sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor
drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will
inherit the kingdom of God." [1 Corinthians 6:9-10]
Every sexually immoral person will suffer the
second death, which is permanent: "But the
cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers,
sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all
liars shall have their part in the lake which burns
with fire and brimstone, which is the second
death." [Revelation 21:8]

Escaping Death: "We must through many tribulations
enter the kingdom of God." [Acts 14:22] Therefore:
"If your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off
and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for
you that one of your members perish, than for your
whole body to be cast into hell." [Matthew 5:30]
Only God is qualified to speak the above statement,
for God alone understands the riches of heaven and
the finality of hell; man cannot comprehend heaven
and hell. The message here is: you must take
extreme measures to enter into heaven. Homosexuals
must decide what is more important to them: sex or
God. Pleasures of the flesh endure for a short
time, whereas the kingdom of God is eternal. Choose
carefully.

Changing Your Outlook: A person may experience
homosexual impulses, however, he does not sin
unless he acts on those impulses. To avoid such
incidents, follow Paul's advice: "Whatever things
are true, whatever things are noble, whatever
things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever
things are lovely, whatever things are of good
report, if there is any virtue and if there is
anything praiseworthy -- meditate on these things."
[Philippians 4:8] Meditating on the word of God
will help purify the mind, making it less likely to
stray towards evil thoughts. The greater sin of
some homosexuals is not sex, but pride -- pride in
a thing which God describes as an abomination in
his sight.

Dominant and Submissive: The word 'abomination' is
the strongest word of condemnation used in the
Bible; and God describes the homosexual sex act as
an abomination. Why? When two persons come together
sexually, one is dominant and the other is
submissive. In the heterosexual sex act, God has
made the husband the dominant (masculine) partner
and his wife the submissive (feminine) partner: "To
the woman He (God) said: ' ... your desire shall be
for your husband, and he shall rule over you.'"
[Genesis 3:16] When two men come together sexually,
the dominant member misuses his masculinity to
dominate a man, contrary to God's arrangement for
mankind; and the submissive member assaults his
masculinity by yielding up same to another man,
contrary to God's arrangement for mankind. Thus,
both men are guilty of violating their own
masculinity, which is a direct affront to the
character of God -- masculinity being an essential
spiritual element in the character of God. In
summary, homosexual acts does violence to the
character of the LORD God, since man is made in the
image of God.

Masculine and Feminine: "So God created man in His
own image; in the image of God He created him; male
and female He created them." [Genesis 1:27] God
created man male (masculine/dominant) and female
(feminine/submissive); and God assigned each their
own unique role. Therefore, a man should not assume
the role of a woman; and neither should a woman
assume the role of a man, lest society fall into
chaos and anarchy: "A woman shall not wear anything
that pertains to a man, nor shall a man put on a
woman's garment, for all who do so are an
abomination to the LORD your God." [Deuteronomy
22:5] This commandment is not only a condemnation
of cross-dressing, but is also a condemnation of
male and female role reversal.

Why Not Homosexuality: God created the earth to be
filled with life; however, homosexuality is
unproductive in this regard, since no progeny can
spring from homosexual unions. God's first
commandment to man is: "Be fruitful and multiply."
[Genesis 1:28] The one who refuses God's command to
reproduce is not only a traitor to humanity, but is
also in open rebellion against God his creator.
Homosexuality is like a cancerous growth on the
body of mankind, which, if left unchecked, would
spread, corrupt, and consume all of humanity. In
Genesis 19, God prevented mankind from the
devastation of homosexuality by completely
obliterating the regions where homosexuality
thrived -- Sodom and Gomorrah. As God dealt with
Sodom and Gomorrah, so will he deal with the
homosexual communities of today. If you are a
homosexual who wishes to please God, find a wife
and raise children to him; but if you absolutely
abhor women, choose celibacy and begin meditating
on the word of God, which leads to life.

Avoiding Responsibility: Man is a master at digging
up excuses to dismiss his behaviour. It has become
fashionable to blame our behaviour on our
predefined genetic code. However, if a man's
behaviour is dictated by his genetic code, then he
does not possess freewill, but is merely following
his genetic programming. If man does not possess
freewill, then God has no justifiable right to
judge his actions, since he is merely following his
predefined programming -- like a mindless robot.
Yet, God has said that every man will be judged
according to his standard: "It is appointed for men
to die once, but after this the judgement."
[Hebrews 9:27] If God will judge a man's every
thought, word, and deed, then God must have endowed
men with freewill, lest God himself be found worthy
of judgement for not equipping men with the faculty
of choice and yet holding them accountable for
their actions -- if indeed men are subject to
mindless adhesion to their genetic programming.
"But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he
himself is rightly judged by no one." [1
Corinthians 2:15] Since it is impossible for an
infallible God to be judged, God's justice must be
perfect and fair. In man's assertion that he is at
the mercy of his genetic code, either God's justice
is unfair or man is mistaken in said assertion. If
humans were wholly controlled by their genetic
programming, then identical twins, possessing the
same genetic code, would lead identical lives, but
they don't.

Ruling Over the Flesh: Homosexuals are not alone in
their battle with the desires of the flesh. We are
all engaged in a constant fight with the (desires
of the) flesh, the world, and the devil. The only
way into eternity is to overcome the flesh, the
world, and the devil. Homosexuality is a spiritual
disease which can be conquered only through
spiritual means. Every man has the God-given
ability to rule over his desires: "If you do well,
will you not be accepted? And if you do not do
well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for
you, but you should rule over it." [Genesis 4:7] If
God has commanded us to rule over our evil desires,
then he has also provided us the wherewithal to
accomplish his command: "No temptation has
overtaken you except such as is common to man; but
God is faithful, who will not allow you to be
tempted beyond what you are able, but with the
temptation will also make the way of escape, that
you may be able to bear it." [1 Corinthians 10:13]
Our time in the flesh is a test of our worthiness
for elevation to the divine plane. The flesh is
beneath the divine. If we fail to rule over the
desires of the flesh, we prove ourselves unworthy
to receive the divine nature.

Supporters of Homosexuality: Those who support
homosexuals do them a great disservice -- by
encouraging them to remain in their sin, and thus
separated from God and doomed to death eternal. It
may seem like a noble endeavour to offer support
and encouragement to "social outcasts", but the
path to hell is paved with good intentions. Most
homosexuals would benefit from some "tough love",
which sometimes requires temporary abandonment. If
you would like to help homosexuals abandon the path
of death in favour of the path of life, here is
some advice: "Moreover if your brother sins against
you, go and tell him his fault between you and him
alone. If he hears you, you have gained your
brother. But if he will not hear you, take with you
one or two more, that 'by the mouth of two or three
witnesses every word may be established'. And if he
refuses to hear them, tell it to the church. But if
he refuses even to hear the church, let him be to
you like a heathen and a tax collector." [Matthew
18:15-17] Shunning someone in need of healing may
seem harsh, but, often, it is only when we are
completely alone that we turn to God -- that he may
heal us. If you insist on supporting homosexuality,
you will bear some culpability in the Day of
Judgement.

Friends of Homosexuals: There are those who
encourage others to remain in their sins, thereby
ensuring their destruction. Why would one person
desire the destruction of another? Consider the
following scenario: You are at a bar with your best
friend, who has drunk himself beyond the point
where he can safely drive himself home; your friend
is about to get into his car and attempt the trip
home, but you have insight into the future and know
for a fact that your friend will crash his car and
die. How do you express your love for your friend?
-- Do you passively permit him to continue down his
current path, or do you warn him that his death is
imminent? "Do you not know that the unrighteous
will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be
deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor
adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor
thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers,
nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God."
[1 Corinthians 6:9-10] If you love your homosexual
friend, will you not seek to save his life?
"Faithful are the wounds of a friend, but the
kisses of an enemy are deceitful." [Proverbs 27:6]

Seeking Acceptance: Homosexuals may argue that all
they seek is acceptance in society. However, it is
more profitable to have God's approval than man's
acceptance, since man is fickle and weak, whereas
God is eternal and all-powerful. The approval of
man is useless in the Day of Judgement, but the
approval of God gains one eternal life. It is a
popular belief that God loves everyone, regardless
of their sexual orientation -- and this is true.
God is love; God cannot choose but love; God loves
everyone unconditionally. But what use is God's
love to a dead man? Every unrepentant homosexual
will die. The good news is: you can repent.

Repentance: 'Repent' means 'return to God by
keeping his commandments'. Repentance is one of the
greatest gifts of God. No matter what you have
done, you have the freedom to seek forgiveness,
make amends, change your ways, and follow God. A
man's end should be greater than his beginning. You
may have had an unfair start in life, but God
judges your end -- not your beginning (see Ezekiel
18:21-32 for details). Repent while you are alive:
for when you are dead, you can do nothing. And
since death can come at any time, repent today.
Prayer for the dead is useless. (See 2 Samuel
12:21-23 for details on useless prayers.)

Cure for AIDS and STDs: AIDS (acquired immune
deficiency syndrome) and all sexually transmitted
diseases can be eliminated if a man and a woman
marry as virgins and remain faithful to each other:
Cures for ailments often require a change in
lifestyle.
