would anybody please tell me what the translation or meaning of EMAHO is?

Not sure, but E = The
Magho (G=H here) = Chief/Chieftain
E'Magho should mean "The Chief", King Ruler, Leader.
The Big Guy.

"E-Ma-Ho!" is from the Indian Sanskrit via the Tibetan Dzogchen
tradition.
"E" (pron. like long A, like aim, ate,, etc) might have originally
been "He",
as in "He-Vajra" - something like when we say "Oh!!!" with wonder and
surprise.
"Ma" refers to the mother lineage, wisdom, and "Ho" to the hero
(heruka) father
lineage of compassion...The wonder of "E" is that wisdom and
compassion are non-dual.
Like in the Heart Sutra where it says openness is form, form is open,
etc.

So, basically it's a preface that means "Wow! This is wonderful beyond
words!" -
meaning that the words that follow this shouldn't be taken as a dogma,
but as
pointing to the awake heart that is already there, so speak...that the
following mantra
or verses are about what is beyond limiting words. The finger points
at liberation,
so don't fixate on the pointing finger, look beyond to what is
wonderment...

The Heart Sutra says this in the mantra "(Aum) Gate Gate Paragate
Parasamgate Bodhi Svaha"
- gone gone gone-beyond completely-gone awake so-be-it....all our
concepts and words are
left behind in the brilliant flash of just-this (so-to-speak) -
just what is happenning before any idea arises.
- Emaho!
- so if any words and verses follow this "Wow!" they are to seen as
poetic suggestion pointing to immediate experience - something to
explore by being *here*,
not a concept or dogma.

"E" is the feminine of "He" (pron. "Hay!"), it means openness,
infinity beyond ideas about that -
Ma and Ho are the two sides of the coin - mother openness and father
active compassion -
they are non-dual in "E"...liberation and form arise together without
problem in wonder.
Means both big guy and big lady...in tantra they called that "Samantra
Bhadra/Bhadri" -
the "All Good Lord/Lady"...likewise as Light (Amithaba), etc... It is
exactlly the same
as the Iranian "Ahura Mazda" - the all good shining heart/mind. It's
where life lights up...
friends, kin, play, peace, all that...the inspiration is "Ma" living
it is "Ho" (laughing in joy and fellowship) - "E!" is the wonder of
life, when all goes well or to hell, we always
have a path, there is no obstacle at all if we stay true.

librarian on these NGs for awhile cuz i know some of the
languages...Tang knows other languages...and so on...
All these cultures are our heritage...where they made sense, where
they were stupid, etc...

Then it truly is Fairy Teaching from my family.
Male/Female/ but it is still a term for a Royal or Sacred.

I am the He to the She, that which the Elph call's E.
As in E L.
I am a Descendant of the Dol Lamha, "Proper".
Ma Ho is a Term for a Gaelic Leader.
And does relate to Fairy Rulers, who were Required to be "Of the Perfect
Body".

Legend is the Oral Tradition of the Tribes, many Legends are based on
fact, all myth is total fiction.

hi dear, the meaning of EMAHO is something close to a marvelous realization, and that is how we see the world around us. Its an Tibetan word.
