Pentecost is this coming Sunday, 49 days after Easter Sunday.

But note that D-moon, May 27, is 1.75 lunar months, or
51.7 days, after the start of Passover, which is when the
original Good Friday is supposed to have been.

And note that in some traditions the Buddha achieved
awakening/enlightenment at D-moon (first quarter), and
in Christian tradition the gift of the Holy Spirit descended
on the apostles, and maybe others, at Pentecost.

For my recent and ongoing supposed progress see alt.religion.druid .
For background see my Salmon on the Thorns webpage.

a D.

But 50 days after Easter Sunday is Pentecost Monday (May 29),
or Whit Monday, which is a holiday in many countries.
