Let's leave the Christians alone in their day, this day when they are
pigging out... and turn our attention to other no less holy religions.
Yes, this means I'm departing from the masters, and going more to my
monkey roots, but my conclusion is that THERE'S NO REINCARNATION. Take
the example above: I'm a monkey in this life and a lion in the next
one. That's absolutely ridiculous!
I can relate to their peaceful ways, their search for inner peace,
but I have a hard time accepting that I will become a lion or a rat,
much less a Christian.

Father Jacek Bochenski placed "PROGRESS" in his famous dictionary of "100
Superstitions". Progress _is_ a superstition except the obvious fact that
Western society made considerable relative progress in some branches of
science and technology. But talking about progress in moral, social or
economical questions and in those branches of science that try to manage
with those questions is a stupid and harmful Western superstition which
arouse from the illusory belief of Western society that progress in natural
sciences and technology is automatically accompanied in progress with other
areas. For example can anybody talk (not deliver a Hegelian babble) about
