Valorian Society/Sovereign Press

I was just wondering if anybody knows of any resources on the Net
concerning the Valorian Society. Please be assured that I have already
tapped my limited computer knowledge to the fullest and am not making
this request for information out of laziness. Anyway, many thanks to
anyone who can help.

public presence on the internet. I have run across individuals who claim
affiliation but these claims are likely to be fraudulent unless verified
in writing to Sovereign Press.

Hello Jim,

You know, I've noticed a lot of similarity between your views and that of
the Valorian Society. I even went to #valorian once to ask you and some
of the others there about them..but guess what? I was kicked and banned
immediately. So perhaps you'd like to answer a few questions concerning
those view here.

Should I write Soveriegn Press to ask if you're an official spokesman or
is this the same promotion that you gave the Asatru Alliance a year or so
ago that ended up with a lot of people getting the impression that they
were a bunch of racists who supported your views? I was one of those
people originally who knew them ony from your posts and those of some
other rather critical individuals with their own agendas to promote.
Fortunately I got to know some people there and discovered that while
there are some who are racist (and those seem to have withdrawn from the
Alliance over the years in disgust at the "tolerant" views of the majority
of the kindreds) the vast majority are sincere dedicated people.

Your rants against the Ring of Troth have neither been accurate, nor done
anything but promote fights and misunderstandings, focusing on individuals
rather than topics or issues that have anything specific to Asatru. Would
you like to discuss some of the ideas promoted by the Valorian Society
and tell us how you see them relating to Asatru in any way, shape or form?

I've got _Camp 38_ right here and Loomponics is not thirty miles away.
I'll go get any publication there you want to discuss and it's possible
relationship to Asatru. Okay? :)

What is it in the above statement that implies I am an official spokesman?

I have searched the Web for references to the Valorian Society and any
other related organizations and have found no references from that
organization itself.

That's another lie.

There were people, like yourself here in this situation, who attempted to
pretend to interpret my statements in that way because they were being
adolescent twits and enjoyed annoying me. At the time, I took it
seriously but I know better now.

How about if you put down your Eddas, Sagas and other books documenting
how one goes about giving up moral sovereignty to theocracy, and go
live with the Valorians or one of their related communities for a while to
see how you like it? I think they like women showing up a lot more than
men and it sounds like you could use the experience of seeing some men
who actually live with Holmganga as a way of life.

Still nothing to do with Asatru, Jim. The Eddas and Sagas are appropriate
to Asatru though. Aren't you able to discuss them and any SPECIFIC issues
that you have with them? Remember, they aren't holy writ so there isn't
any point to bashing them in that manner. The Sagas are literature after
all and Christian era literature at that but the Icelanders of that time
were much closer to their pagan past than we are.
