We are certainly freaks; as Frank never tires of trying to illustrate.
The time will come when homo sapien as a specie dies out, as
indeed all species will.
The huge earthquake in China is just a glimpse of how it
might happen. The Pope said prayers for the sufferers
yesterday, or so he claimed. I wonder if it was tongue
cheek at the time.
Always at times like these religionists keep their heads
down for fear of someone asking them 'how come their loving
god , who they claim created this unstable planet and
universe, allows such awful things to happen'.
The only answer they can find is always reliably 'sickening'.
