Hi my name is Sash - I am 20 years old - turning 21 in August. I really
wanted to get in touch with people who like redheads so I guess this is the
place to start. If you are wondering, YES I am redhead and not so proud of
it. Everyone who lives around me is a dazzling blonde or smouldering
brunette but perhaps one day I will enjoy being red.
I work in at a telecommunications firm in the sales department and would
love to travel one day. That is why i have posted! I want to make warm
friends around the world so when I travel I have places to stay. Perhaps

My interests include reading, sports ( I lurve football) and music. I also

On the other hand, look at 90% of the television commercials, 95% of the
magazine ads, and every goddamned one of the hair color ads in any media
form. They all portray REDHEADS. Since you managed to type your flaming

noticed that being redheaded is the thing to be in the latter part of this

opinion. I appreciate your not taking things out on AOL'ers though. Somebody
wrote earlier that one of the FAQ's was to treat others the same way that you
would like to be treated....well, I don't consider bashing me and others that
use AOL to be very respectful. I'll give you the fact that most of the people
that use aol are newcomers to the net and MAY not know as much as others.
However, some of us stay for different reasons. I have mine...I don't need to
go into them. As far as the "lush redhead" goes, you are just as free to voice
your opinion as anybody else....my apologies for trying to remove you of that
right...lol. If your initial response was not meant as an attack, then you
have my apologies once more. In my reading it, I felt as if it were an attack
on her and I didn't feel the need for it (again, if it wasn't meant as such,
then i apologize). As far as some other things....my screen name is not a way
to hide...it is a way to express something about me, as in maidenfan1 means
that I am a fan of Iron Maiden. That is it. If somebody asks me who I am, I
tell them. I don't need to hide...but again, you are right, many people do
hide and play bullshit games. But you can't group everybody into that crowd.
I am not intending to bash you...just fill you in on MY perspective, not anyone
else's. I hope that this straightens things out with us...lol. Maidenfan

reason, go into alt.books.larry-niven and take a look at Stephen Forbes.

Know what hurts my feelings? I posted what I thought was a reasonable
and only nildly inflammatory response to Sasha or whatever she is
calling herself this week (try checking out that e-mail addy - you'll
be amazed) and Dave's the only one who got any attention. I even
posted a defense of Dave's remarks, which I still stand behind (and
Dave's remarks where imho not even lukewarm, much less a flame) - and
*still* everyone focuses on Dave. Well, if I were in his shoes I'd
probably be a little pissy, too.
Main point I want to make here - cut the f*cking thread!!!! She/it
posted bullsh*t and got called on it, and if it f*cking mattered we'd
still be seeing posts from her!
