Ok, I've been lurking here for a bit and noticed that there is a regular
group here and that they do not post anything having to do with redheads.
What's the deal?
Looks like the newsgroup needs a little work.

*lurker here too*
Other than really the technical groups. Newgroups tend to be orientated to
bring together people of simular tastes, but not needing to be there soley
for discussing those tastes. It gives a good refference point, but is also
there to grow a community, and a community where people actually become
friends usually involves the discussing and learning of many factors and
likes of people, bot just the one that brought them there.

Just like chats and BBS's.

Just my opinion

I would say it's the same as your favorite food, just because pizza (for
example) is your favorite, it doesn't mean you eat it all the time. Maybe ..
not sure .. hmmm .. I'm new here, what do I know? :)

Group goes back farther than my habitation of it, but since Wes seems
to be tied up in other realms I'll see what I can do here.

ok - this is the short version:

When I first arrived here 3 years ago or so, it was a stealth binary
group.. Binaries as in pictures of, yes, you guessed it, redheads.
Life was good, we had a core group of friends who culled some other
areas of usenet (such as the suze randall group) for the cream of the
redheaded crop. We were a bit militant regarding what could be posted
without getting fragged. We also had a couple of us who policed
mercilessly for spam. Llife was good, and the villagers were content.
We contrived, with the consent of those in the group who bothered to
post even a simple one word text message, a FAQ, and we were quitet
strict in enforcing it.

Then one dark day a demon from the deepest regions of Hell popped in
and, after posting a few decent sets, popped off a couple very large
sets of a blonde. And as several of us were posting warnings about
posting a blonde, and the demon was arguing that the individual was a
redhead, just the lighting was bad, one of our guys fired off a
complaint to the assholes ISP. And the dogs of war were let loose.

Next thing we knew we were a hot topic in nana-u, with the initial
thread having the phrase Rogue Group in the header (which,
incidentally, one time got mispelled Rouge, which we found not only
humorous but somehow appropriate - hence the Rouge Rogues in my sig).
After a couple of warnings from some of the news admins in re TOS
violations, we moved all binary posting to a.b.p.e.r and this became
the discussion group.

This all happened to play out rather nicely, because we had a devil of
a time getting any of the girls to come out and play because they got
tired of having to fish a couple of text posts out of a couple hundred
nekkid women every day. We now have our core group of goddesses (and
them that have left can just return their tiaras), and if anything
looks off topic to the groups name, well - there are redheads posting
to it so it *has* to be on topic.

Besides, jX might have apoplexy if I get started on one of my 2 week
rants on the merits of natural redheads v. bottle jobs.

Anyhoooo, stick around if it amuses you. Otherwise... well... don't.

even if spent in Hell.

Yes, this was about the time I left this newsgroup.
Wasn't it later learned that the party was really a guy?
I've been to a.b.p.e.r and can say I am disappointed so far.
Looks like a few postings of bottle jobs and out and out non redheads.
Also, there seams to be a "teen" post issue going on in there.

Basically anythign posted here by one of the Goddessess (redheads) is on
topic since it came from them. Therefore our responses to those posts are
also on topic.

I think that about covers it. :)

Grizzly bears are omnivorous. 80% of their diet is roots, bugs and
plants. The other 20% is meat. So when you see a Grizzly looking
at you he is not seeing a person. He sees his 20%.

Maybe not. But I can tell you that we have discussed everything from
percentage of Redheads on this earth to what our best colors are........ and
since we *are* Redheads this makes whatever we say *on topic*.
This group would be boring as hell if we stuck to just talking about Redhead
subjects.

> What's the deal?

If it really bothers you, post a thread about Redheads. I'm sure you will
get many responses.

Like Dub said so eloquently, if you don't like it here, leave, if you wanna
stick around and join the fun, then by all means, DO!

It sounds like you know quite a lot, Judy!
Glad to see you have decided to stick around! :):)

That's still debatable....

Well, most of our old regs from the bin posting days here have been
caught up with RL and haven't been posting, or moved on to other
obsessions. I simply don't have time to be scavanging and posting
like that anymore. But your right - abper has pretty well sucked
lately. And the other redhead bingroups haven't done any better the
few times I've checked.

>Also, there seams to be a "teen" post issue going on in there

I use binary boy to d/l abper, and filter out posts that have the word
teen in the header, and still get a boat load of that type pic.
Straight to the trash bin they go. But since I ain't posting I don't
bitch about what is posted. One of the tenents we set here a few
years ago, if you recall.
