okay..

still wondering?
I'm not wondering.
I am different than you.
You have control issues.
You want to participate in the control of what people do or say.
Me on the other hand don't want to control you or others. I just don't want
to be controlled. That's boundries issues.
It's enough for some to share in meetings with out anguishing over their
choice of words. It's stupid for the controllers to try to control other
people.
You are powerless over.
A meeting.......An entire area should be able to run itself with the Basic
text
as it's sole piece of liturature. It CAN!
No-Where does it say any thing about politically correct language that
people use in meetings.
No where.
NA is dwindling because of people like you.
Honesty, open mindedness, and willingness.
You don't like the last sentence in the book because it doesn't suit your
purpose. Which is to continue a "justified resentment" against AA.
So, you are being close minded, your carrying an age old resentment toward
the organization that gave us our entire program, and you're. trying to
control things that you can't control.
The only people I know supporting the clarity statement in our area are
running people away from NA.
If you are A WSC junkie....It's time for you to move on.
if youre an alcoholic you may not be different
than me....
the difference is in our approach..
rather than focusing on abstinence from one specific
substance, i choose to believe that it's about
all mind and mood altering substances...
> You have control issues.
well, hold me back.
> You want to participate in the control of what people do or say.
would you cite that specific language for me?
you know, the language i posted that i want to control what
people say...
you dont like what i have to say and then point your finger
in the "control issue" direction...
it's an easy way to end the debate...
we were talking about perspective...
alcohol = banana
drugs = fruit
the thread had nothing about what people say did it?

are you one of those that gives me that much power?
if so, maybe it's on you and not me.
im not that powerful dude..
but you sure seem to think i have a lot of power....
moreover, youre accusing me of shit we havent even discussed..
maybe na dwindles equally because of all the assumptions
people make about others..
or possibly it dwindles because some people want NA to
be about everyfuckingthing under the sun rather than
a simple program of recovery from addiction....
beats the hell outta me...
i dont care what people share or how they share...
im not unclear about what i believe about certain
things...
particularly the difference between NA and AA's
first step
first tradition
third tradition
fifth tradition
one day you may see the difference
one day you may not..
dont use no matter what

i dont have a resentment against AA...
you seem to have one against me....
that would be more in keeping with the propensity to
let one little line in a book cause a full blown resentment..
hell, you dont even know me and youre mixing it up
with me on day three.

AA helped us form a god given program.

maybe youre confused about my opinion of the clarity statement.
maybe im confused about who youre talking to.
> If you are A WSC junkie....It's time for you to move on.

As long as the shit don't roll down hill.............
If the bulk of NA....The members...then the groups...then the areas...then
the regions...and finally the wsc ...........................
You give the controllers...NA Nazis..the language police..etc more power
Na will keep on dwindling and dwindling and dwindling
and dwindling and dwindling and it'll end up just like C.A.
NA is dieing in my city it's the NA Nazis..the language police..etc

clarity

"...there are many reasons i dont support the clarity
statement...
the primary reason is that it violates the sixth
tradition.
approving the statement for fellowship use would
also have incorporated the word "sober" into approved
na literature..
paradox...
dont say "fuck"
know what i mean?
there used to be a sign in one of our meeting rooms...
it had the word "sober" in the int'l circle with
a slash through it...
a negative endorsement.
im glad people are sober
im glad they are clean
im glad they are fasting or whatever..
im glad they are anda this anda that..
wassa matta you?
do any of the words mean, "recovering""
So, what are you picking on him about??
I think he's a pretty good guy.
You on the other hand are an Idiot.

I ain't real sure that NA can survive in places where it's much more
than a branch of AA. The prospects don't look so good.
