AA Dictates where you Shop

At a local meeting, one of the members said, during his speaking time,
that he went to the liquor store, and went on to say something about
seeing all the bottles made him think about his drinking days...... He
barely finished those words, when some guy belted out "What the fuck are
you doing in a liquor store?". The speaker said he goes there to get
cigarettes, because they are cheaper there. The other guy again belted
out "So you're gonna risk your sobriety to save a fucking dime.... You
must be a fucking idiot.... What's wrong with __the names of a few local
convenience stores__".
I guess every town should make a printed list of stores and businesses
that AA members are allowed to shop at, or do business with. This of
course will eliminate all liquor stores, all bars, all restaurants that
serve alcohol, as well as all stores that sell alcohol. And while we're
at it, why not disapprove all stores and businesses owned or managed by
people who drink. And what about landlords, AA members should not rent
from land owners who drink. While we're at it, AA should ban it's
members from doing any business with persons who are athiests too, as
well as dictate which movies to watch, because some movie scenes show
people drinking. Of course it dont stop there. They should also make a
list of all songs that mention drinking, and ban those too. Naybe even
censor what newspapers, magazines, and books a member is allowed to
read, or must avoid based upon the alcohol advertising, religious views,
and so on.
However, there is a simpler way. AA should just set up special camps
where it's members live. These would be community cult camps, (similar
to concentration camps, or the Waco cult), with armed guards at the
gates who carefully monitor who enters. Members are not allowed to
leave, except for specific destinations, which are determined by a
committee. Then and only then are the members allowed to leave, and
they must be with others who are in charge of the community, and have at
least 20 years of sobriety. Lets completely separate AA members from
the rest of society.
Note: If you disagree with this, think about it for a minute. As an
ex-member of AA, I almost would not mind if they all left for their own
camps. That way none of us would have to have them getting in our faces
in society, or have to listen to them bitch and whine, because they're
about ready to explode due to their alcohol cravings.
