This is my screen wallpaper just now:

"A man must have a hobby, sir, to keep from going flat"
seems to apply to Truman the rabbit, as well.

"Practice makes perfect"
How many decades do you intend wasting in a futile attempt to prove
that applies to you?

Pretty much the rest of them.

As an atheist, I'm not under any obligation to
strive for the kind of tarted-up perfection
requirements with which theists saddle themselves
for a lifetime to appease their non-existent
deities.

Then also, I haven't made such a disaster area out
of my life that I have to hide myself behind phony
email addresses or omit my surname.

You have, so I guess you're not really situated in
very much of a secure position to comment on the
behavioral choices of others, are you?

lol, and you're prepared to spend the rest of your life trying to
appease a non existent intelligence?

Calling alcoholism 'a disease' is
the politically correct substitute for 'a self induced insanity.'

I believe in the Golden Rule in the form of the
Wiccan Rede - 'An' it hurt no one, do as you please.' -
and that when the mystical and power-seeking
aspects of nearly all religions are removed,
the Golden Rule is what is left.
