I'm here... actually I'm back... not sure what you mean by "original group".
Do you mean people like "I was the cat", Kyla =^..^=, Polly Esther,
Storrmmee, Kevinsmom, Kalmia, Brenda(*), Barbara in CT, Mintee(*),
Medium Gnome, Barbara Mawdsley, Sweetchild, Terrie Meehan...
(*) deceased (and sadly missed)
I used to post accounts of my clutter war as dispatches from the Front.
Also a spoof called "Clutter Trek Voyager", reprinted below.

"Captain to the bridge." It was Tuvok's voice.
"On my way," replied Kathryn Janeway. Just as she arrived on the
Command Deck, there was a loud _thump_ as lights momentarily dimmed
and the ship rocked under a strong impact.
Entering the bridge, she said, "Situation?"
"Captain," Lieutenant Kim said, "My sensors have detected a
mysterious anomaly dead ahead."
"Impulse power," said the captain, "And by the way, what was
that bump just a moment ago?"
"We're analyzing it now," said Commander Chakotay.
"It almost felt as if we'd hit a cardboard box full of newspapers,"
said B`Lanna Torres.
"Damage report," said the captain.
"Impact was on C deck," reported Lieutenant Tuvok, "But no hull
damage sustained."
"We have a visual on the anomaly," said Harry Kim.
"On screen."
An amazing sight filled the viewscreen. The bridge crew was shocked
and amazed at the sight.
Finally someone spoke. "They look like cardboard boxes," said Neelix.
"Full of junk and litter," added Tom Paris.
"One of them must have caused the recent impact," said Seven of Nine.
"What a mess," said Commander Chakotay. "How big is it?"
"By my calculations, it would take 4.768 years to go around,"
replied Lt. Tuvok. "Our only other option is to go through it."
"Lieutenant, could you pilot us through this mess," asked the
captain.
"It would be difficult," replied Lt. Paris. "I'd rather try steering
a china shop through an asteroid shower."
"I wonder whose clutter it is," muttered Chakotay.
"The Borg's?" asked Lt. Kim.
"The Borg would _never_ create such a mess," replied Seven of Nine
firmly. "Only inefficient humans, with their conflicting priorities
and self-defeating attachment to worthless material could possibly
have allowed such a chaotic situation to arise."
"It goes against all of my Klingon instincts to mention it,
but there is a third option," said Lt. Torres.
"What's that," asked the captain.
"We could clean it up."
There was a long, aghast silence.
"Surly you're not serious, B`Lanna?" said Tom Paris in a
conciliatory tone.
"Don't patronize me," snapped Lt. Torres.
"Let's get a second opinion," said the captain quickly to pre-empt
what looked like a personal quarrel erupting. "Computer. Project the
doctor onto the bridge."
The Holo-Doc's image shimmered into being next to the captain.
"Hello, captain," said the doctor wryly. "I've been following
your conversation. Luckily, my programming only covers the healing
of wounds and diseases, not decluttering. I wish you all the best
of luck, and I'm glad not to be a part of it," he commented and
then vanished.
"Well," said Captain Janeway, "It looks as though it's just our
bad fortune to encounter the messiest sector in the Delta Quadrant.
The sooner we get started the sooner we'll be done."
-----------------------
Captain's Log, supplemental: It has been 6 months since we first
encountered the Clutter Anomaly. Despite grueling hard work by all
crew members to sort it out, it looks as though we have hardly begun.
Estimated time to completion: indeterminate.

Sean, I just absolutely _love_ this! Thank you thank you thank you!
The crew deserves a recommendation! Perhaps they have been performing
an analysis on the Clutter Anomaly before cleaning it up to speed up
the whole process?

Bravo! Applause!
I'm showing this to my SO. He's a Star Trek fan, all flavours, and a
pack rat of the worst sort. I admit I'm showing it to amuse him, rather
than as a hint.
Keep writing. Please.
