Those boxes and boxes of donation stuff were finally picked up about 20
minutes ago! They didn't show up on Monday as I was told they would, so I
called yesterday (Tuesday) to see what was up. I was told the truck would
swing by here tomorrow (which would be today) and sure enough, the truck
pulled up and 2 guys hauled off all the boxes. I think there was probably
about a dozen boxes of stuff. Plus a small kitchen garbage bag of a few
random clothing items and similar.

Now I'm going to hop in the shower then we'll get ready and I am planning to
take a run to the fabric store. I have to sew N's one pair of work
coveralls and was thinking I'd make us a set of half a dozen Christmas
stockings, plus maybe one for the cat and one for the dog if I'm feeling
energetic. I figured I'd buy some material, sew some nice Christmas
stockings and it would be a nice new thing for our brand new home and our
first Christmas in the new place - plus DD3's very first Christmas as well!

Shower time. Sooo glad those boxes went finally! And hopefully someone
else is able to get some use of stuff we can't, don't or won't use. Plus
some freed up space... and less stuff to store away here!

Oh, good job! I'm gonna try to use you as inspiration today. My house
still looks like a pit, and we've been sick this week, so it hasn't
improved, though we've eaten takeout a fair bit and used paper plates,
so it hasn't really gotten any worse, either. :-/

Haha... um... the stockings are cut, but still not sewn. It's also Dec 22,
so I am running out of time. I just haven't had the energy to yank out the
sewing machine. I also haven't had the time or space really either :(
Maybe tonight is a plan!
