Slow Motion Apocalypse

Finally got around to ordering an all-region DVD player with a built
in PAL to NTSC converter. Mine died earlier in the year. I can still
watch off my computer but it just isn't the same. A DVD I want to get
that probably won't be released in the U.S. is what made me finally
get it.

Spending that $51, as well as telling the storage place to just bill
me for 2 months, was just barely enough to keep me from making a
really bad choice with a lot more money. And right now I really regret
buying the DVD player so I can't blow a bunch of money on purely
hedonistic pursuits of the type that would also possibly saddle me
with all sorts of bad karma.

I used to work from 9 - 4:30 with my alarm set for 8:45 in case I
don't wake up in time. Since the shake up at work a few weeks ago
(most people are now working from home and I am working in a closet
behind a business down the street from the prior location) I now go in
at 8:00 and have to walk 25 minutes which really sucks not being much
of a morning person. At least I get off an hour earlier too so I can
go right back to sleep when I get home. It's not uncommon for me to
stagger in around 2 in the morning and it still takes me awhile to
unwind.

Ever since I got sick I have never been able to push my nocturnal
activities back up to previous levels I have sustained the past 2
years. I guess a little moderation wouldn't hurt.

Haven't really done all that much around the house.
