Look at Da Vinci's "Last Supper." Who's the first person sitting to
his right? That's no male....as Dan Brown wrote..it's Mary Magdalene,
Jesus's wife. And the child she bore has a bloodline still in Europe.
The Church of Rome has known all about it for many many centuries
while hushing it up. Would the Holy See ever do such a thing? Did it
not suppress progresssive thinking until Luther broke away and the
Reformation began? Has not the Holy See tried to destroy every copy of
the Gnostic Gospels but failed because of the one copy uncovered in
Egypt which tells a different story than the Gospels accepted by the
Church of Rome and in all Christendom?

Is the Church of Rome wrong in suppressing the truth? Let's compare it
to modern day UFOism. Does anyone not believe that our government
knows they are real and controlled by superior extra terrerstrial
intelligence? Does anyone believe that this government doesn't have in
its possession a UFO that's crashed as well as the bodies of aliens?
Keep in mind that our own astronauts as well as Russian cosmonauts
have seen and reported evidence of UFOs. But if the government told
the truth, it very well might destroy organized religion. Just the
fact that we are not alone could cause the worst riots worldwide
so...the government suppresses the entire matter.

By the same token, the Holy See suppresses every bit of evidence that
might cast light on the TRUE story of Jesus. To the Vatican, missing
the truth by a myth is much safter than by a mile.

Er, I hate to rain on your parade. But when did Da Vinci witness the
last supper?
I think it is simply an artistic painting. Or do you think everybody
sat the one side of the table?

You seem very sure about Jesus. Tell me, have you done any research
that rebuts the Da Vinci Code or is your assuredness simply based on
the propaganda you've been fed?

He seems to think that aliens are more absurd than resurrecting from the
dead? I will never understand.

================================================================================
Alan,
The basic thesis is that da Vinci was a member of a secret society
charged with protecting the true history of Christianity until the
world was ready to hear it. This theme has been explored in depth in
other books such as Holy Blood, Holy Grail and The Messianic Legacy,
both written by Michael Baigent, Henry Lincoln and Richard Leigh.

It's like this. Nostradamus wrote in mysterious quatrains out of fear
of the church.Much of what he saw could not have been penned in
absolutely understandable French because the Holy See had ways of
dealing with such "heretics" like lopping off their heads.

Before Martin Luther bolted, intellectual and artistic skills were
intentionally held back. How dare anyone go against church
doctrine!!!!
The same applied to Da Vinci. Much of what he wanted to say couldn't
be said so those thoughts were injected into, for example, paintings,
drawings etc. He was fully aware of the truth about Mary Magdalene.
She was no harlot whatsoever but a nice Jewish girl named Miriam who
hailed from the city of Magdal. She was an Apostle never mentioned due
to church suppression. At the crucifixion, while all the male apostles
ran away, she sat at Christ's feet. She was the one who held the
chalice to catch blood drippings but the church refused to mention it.
At the resurrection, Christ appeared to her FIRST and told her not to
CLING TO ME because he had an appointment with his father. The word
CLING meant EMBRACE.
Put two and two together.

Paragraph one explains how DaVinci knew about the extreme importance
of Mary Magdalene but out of fear for his life, he dared not put it
into words. Hence the "Last Supper" in which she is most definitely
illustrated. Take look and you tell me if that's not a woman to
Jesus's right. Also notice the angle between that woman and Jesus.
It's a V. The V stood for vagina which of course also told the viewer
that the person to Jesus's right was indeed female.

The idea that Magdalene was pregnant by Jesus at his Crucifixion
became especially entrenched in France, which already had a tradition
of her immigration in a rudderless boat, bearing the Holy Grail, his
chalice at the Last Supper into which his blood later fell. Several
French kings promoted the legend that descendants of Magdalene's child
founded the Merovingian line of European royalty, a story revived by
Richard Wagner in his opera Parsifal and again in connection with
Diana, Princess of Wales, who reportedly had some Merovingian blood.

And, IMO, this is no more or less unlikely than what gets passed along
within current conventional Christianity.
I eschew it all.
