Biologist David Seaborg To Speak At American Atheists Convention

BIOLOGIST DAVID SEABORG TO SPEAK AT NATIONAL CONVENTION OF AMERICAN
ATHEISTS, SAN FRANCISCO, APRIL 21-23

Environment biologist David Seaborg will be a speaker at the upcoming
National Convention of American Atheists scheduled for April 21-23, 2000 in
San Francisco, Ca.

Seaborg is founder and President of the World Rainforest Fund and the
Seaborg Open Space Fund. He is well known as a public speaker on issues
related to science and the environment, and has also distinguished himself as
an award-winning poet and nature photographer.

He is the son of Nobel Prize-winning chemist Glenn Seaborg, who discovered
nine new elements for the Periodic Table, and served as chairman of the Atomic
Energy Commission.

Seaborg will speak on "Implications Of Science To Philosophy And The
Question Of The Existence Of God."
