from where does life come being that man in Adam is declared to be " dead. " ? unless he
is given life by Christ who is the Life, the kingdom of God is shut out to him as we read
in Eph. 2:12. for this cause, that man is dead in sin, being that he is found in Adam, he
can not in and of himself be born again... born from above... simply because there is no
life in him.
the life must come from the One who is Life to the one who does not have life, and it
comes by a gracious act of God, ( Eph. 2:8,9 ) through the faith of Jesus Christ.
Ga. 2:16
if man can save himself salvation would be based on works. all one would need to do is do
the right good work and salvation would come. that would mean the dead raise themselves
from the grave; that lifeless souls do the right thing as their denominations insist and
the dead in spirit are born from above all the while they are in the grave of spiritual
death. for man to do, this is impossible. Mt. 19:25,26
thanks be to God in Christ that we do not have to tear out the pages of the Bible which
declare salvation to be all of grace and none of works... if salvation were to be of good
works such would leave out those who are mentally impaired, aborted fetuses, babies dying
at birth, and toddler's. God doesn't leave these out according to grace but the
denominations preaching the social gospel, do.
you must have smart's to be saved by the social gospel. and you must ignore every text of
Holy Scripture dealing with salvation as being solely the work of God. if salvation were
of man the passages wouldn't read " He chose us " ( Eph. 1:4 ) but " we chose Him. " man
get's the glory but the less capable by mental inability are left out.
as one denomination expounds Jn. 1:12, leaving out the rest of the text, they change the
word " receive " to the word " accept. " the verb ' receive ' in Jn. 1:12 is in the
passive voice. this means, as verse 13 declares, man is entirely passive when receiving
Christ unto salvation by the will of God... and " not the will of man. " how they can in
one breath say " man accept's Christ " all the while the Word of God says man is not born
into the kingdom of God by " the will of man " but of God, and not see they are trying to
make salvation a good work is the " strong delusion " God sets on those looking for self
glory.
why is it that the self-righteous want to change the Word of God to benefit themselves ?
why do they need to show the world they were so smart so as to choose Christ by the will
of man when all the while the Bible says to the contrary ?
the answer is simple. man is so puffed up with pride that he insists on taking first
place ahead of Christ. it's no wonder the gospel's he concocts should reflect his need to
pat himself on the back for his good work. he is so arrogant that he's deluded from
seeing he's framed a gospel leaving out every aborted fetus, every baby dying at birth,
every mentally impaired person who doesn't have what it takes to save themselves as he
does.
there is no salvation at all to be had by anyone working good works for it. this, the
Bible makes abundantly clear. one of the most direct passages in all of Scripture
addressing who does the choosing is found in Jn. 15:16... " Ye have not chosen me, but I
have chosen you... " it is tantamount to blasphemy to say one " accepts " Jesus Christ as
Lord in order to invoke God to save him. such would involve a determinate choice of the
will which is forbidden by God to work His work of salvation.
man can not understand the gospel until after God saves him through it... Jn. 3:3; Acts
13:48. what then is a person to do ? he is to wait upon the Lord for His salvation...
" It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD. "
La. 3:26
