{NOTE: I believe, based on the source of this article, that it may be
intended as satire. If so, this uninspired swipe at blindness and sex
addiction, two serious conditions suffered by millions, is not amusing
in the slightest. I normally ignore this kind of thing, but it's
currently showing up under sports on the front page of Google News for
me. I strongly suggest folks contact the article's author and let him
know that this kind of thing is absolutely not appreciated. The author
can be contacted via his email address nick...@gmail.com.}

Former number one golfer Tiger Woods admitted today that his performance
at the U.S. Open has suffered because he is almost completely blind and
unable to see the ball.

"Part of my treatment for sex addiction involved removing most of my
eyesight for a year", Tiger revealed in a clubhouse interview.  "The
doctors treating me said I'd be less tempted to have sex if I couldn't
see sexy women.  My vision should be back in about six or seven more
months.  Considering I'm blind I think I'm still playing a pretty good
game".

Many people were shocked that Woods was still able to play golf at all
in his condition and offered him praise and sympathy for his pathetic
performance at the Open.

"He's only shooting three over par", said avid fold fan George Humphrey.
"But if I was blind I couldn't even find the fairway!"

Fellow golfer and probable tournament winner Phil Mickelson had nothing
but praise for his rival.  "I was wondering why his putts weren't going
in!"

One official claims Woods may be disqualified for cheating.  "Someone is
giving him verbal cues as to which direction to face!" the official
claimed.

Woods hopes his revelation would put to rest gossip that he's just not
the same player he used to be.
