"Things I heard" No. 6

- Sobriety involves remembering that comfort can become complacency.

-Guilt is really the reverse side of the coin of pride. Guilt aims at
self-destruction,
pride aims at the destruction of others.

- I could not make a decision because I was afraid of losing what I
had or that I would not get what I wanted.

- Don't try to bluff your way through the program. Tell yourself the
truth. Truth is the greatest bed partner you will ever have.

-Don't get hungry, angry, lonely or tired.

When I am hungry people move too slowly and act stupid.
When I am angry I will do things that I normally would not do and
then justify them.
When I am lonely all of my poor me buttons get pushed.
When I an tired I am easily irritated.
