I for one am very happy to have lost my old life back in 1992. The new one is much more interesting, and I AM empowered in my new, drug-free life.
Abolish Coercion is frankly angry at not being allowed by the people
in his life to continue in his self destructive path. He's so busy looking
for the flaws in AA and NA, he misses the point entirely. I don't spend
nearly as much time in the rooms as I did when I first got in, partly because
I have a worthwhile life to live. Is a lot of it outside NA? Sure. Is that
good? I think so. NA is still how I remind myself that I need
a Higher Power, other people, and humility in order to continue down a
far less insane path than the one I was on. It would seem neither Step
1 or Step 2 has been fully lived in this person's case. Since that puts
me in the status of taking someone else's inventory, let me say I do so
out of self defense, not criticism. I need to see if these same elements
are present in my own thinking to keep the stinkin thinkin from creeping
back into my life.
Stay clean today. It matters more than the other stuf (that matters,
too).

When I first started posting here in 1994 I was very open. Then along came
the stalker from deja who traveled all the way to Phoenix and caused me
grief and many harrowing episodes. He is now in jail. I have a glock and a
concealed weapon permit (ain't that spiritual) but I gave the gun to my son.
I was freaked out by the situation for quite awhile. Mostly, I react when a
sincerely malevolent action is directed my way and echoes of the stalker
days bring my guard up.
Most of you on this forum would be welcome in my home. That is not a flip
comment, I would expect most of you to call me if you come to town and take
advantage of some genuine AA hospitality.
I send so many business emails that sometimes I forget to reconfigure the
preferences. Oh well, I'll just have to take the knocks won't I?

Given that you've been positively identified, beyond any shred of
reasonable doubt, fabricating evidence here on Usenet then making
false representations about that evidence to the Arizona State
Attorney General, I'd be interested in seeing how an independent law
enforcement officer and/or attorney might review the 1994 evidence,
with a view to establishing that an innocent man isn't now in jail.

went to a meeting this afternoon, newcomer was there before the meeting
began talking with a few people, said he didn't have a BB, so I went to my
car to get him. I told him I was getting him one. When I got back he was
gone. I asked where he was. Three guys said they chased him off after he
asked if gays were welcome here and they asked and he said he was gay.
I waited for the meeting to open then thanked the group pointing out the
three individuals and told them that they should oput a warning on the door
in the future telling people that this was not actually an AA meeting since
they chased off alcoholics looking for help simply because they were gay and
that since I was gay and obviously not welcome I was leaving. And did.
Why is this still an issue with gays because gays are still harrassed in and
out of meetings. After reading the way people in meetings in your area
behave towards gays from your posts I would guess the guy would have been
physically attacked if he had been open in your redneck part of the woods.

others on from a safe distance.

As one who was sexually abused by my mother, who wanked my little friends
weenies too, and beaten as a child for years and also beaten
when I spoke up for myself, one who was raped for and beaten by a very sick man that
I thought I was in love with for poking his children in their bings with pencils or sharp sticks,
let me share my personal experience.
For years because of what was done to me I played the victim. Even to the point
that I believed what I was told, that I deserved what I got. I even found
people later on that were just like my original abusers to help carry on this
mode of thinking. Iset myself up to fail in all of my relationships, with
freinds and lovers and family members, and, especially, in getting close
to their children. Hardly anyone would allow me to babysit.
It wasn't until I started working the steps and taking an inventory that I found
out why I was still hurting. In my inventory I found that I was not responsible
for what others chose to do to me against my will, including when I was raped as
an adult. Though some told me that I was because I wasn't "man enough" to stop
it. Funny how people are so quick to judge what they do not understand. And,
for not one minute did I ever think that others I tried to dupe would not want their
little boys hurt, or their little girs beaten and insulted. I was out only for my own satisfaction.
Now if I wasn't responsible for these things then who was and why was I still in
pain after all this time? The perps were responsible. I was in pain because I
was angry and frightened and I had learned not to trust anyone. Without someone
to trust the pattern simply repeats itself in later relationships, at least it
did for me. Of course, I had to learn to trust people, but would anyone learn to
trust me? I had to, somehow, get into those kids underpants!
First of all, it is not an act of revenge to prosecute someone who has comitted
these crimes. If this is a route one chooses be fully aware that it is not an
easy one by any means and will not always work the way we think it should.
Human justice is fickle. But some that I know took this route and got justice,
some did not. In both cases this was not the end of the healing process. I
chose not to go this route. But I did confront most of those who were guilty of
abusing me. Though they attempted to deny everything I got the satisfaction of
knowing that they were told this was not forgotten and that if I ever found them
doing it to someone else I would be there to help prosecute them.
Of course, I love sitting and preaching to others. I am truly the most vengful person
around anyday. I'm a petty little bitch, in fact. I'll get them all for not letting me babysit.
I'll start a website. Right now, all can see how well the steps really worked for me. I'm
hiding from the world behind a false name. I used to proudly be able to say "Derek McMurray."
Now everyone knows I'm nothing but a petty, be-pantied little monkey who wanks
off to pictures of kids.
The way the kids I wanker with the present though is what is most important. They have
to find people that were different than me. People who were kind and
patient and loving. People who knew what tolerance and compassion were. This
was not easy because some of them don't know how to tell the difference, and I
love that. That's when I really take advantage. I love sitting in ala-teen and ala-tot,
pretending to be so recovered.
But I have to set very clear boundaries for myself as well as
grown up women.. Some of these were:
1. If you talk around me you are OUT of my life. NO second chances.
2. If I talk to you abusively, insultingly/ threating /condescendingly, and you
tell me that you do NOT like being spoken to in that way, I
will harrass you constantly. It is a waste of time to try and force respect
for women who steal and hide from me the small chidren I so desperately
want in my dirty-drawered piggishness.
3. If I share my weenie with a child and ask that it be kept private and it
gets out then I confront that child and let them know that I will harrass,defame,
and kill his mother, and that I will find another child to share in private with.
I think you get the idea. But what I set for myself is almost the same thing. Haw.Haw.
There is really only one boundary to set for myself. If I expect others to
treat me a certain way then I must treat them in that same way. The point is to
stand up for myself and practice integrity. If I am consistant then I will weed
out the abusive people in my life and make room for the healthier people to
enter the scene. And as I get healthier I will start to atract healthier
people.
That's why no one even answers my posts on araa anymore. That's why
my posts are being cancelled and I'm having usenet groups made about
me.
