I am trying to get together all the materials for my hovercraft and I looked
on the West marine site for stocking dealers. Most of them are marinas
(southeast michigan). So I called them and they referred me to Public
Lumber in Detroit who stocks 1/8" marine plywood. They quoted me $49.95
over the phone and said they actually sell quite a lot of it to
hovercrafters. So my thought is to call your local marina for leads to both
epoxy and for 1/8" marine plywood. We have a lot of marinas here in SE
michgan so we are probably more fortunate in that regard than other areas of
the country, but hopefully this will help out some of you. Also, Boomer
Company sells a lot of big styrofoam in Detroit.

Hello Dick,

FYI Harbor Freight is another supplier of Okumme marine 1/8" or 4mm ply
in Ohio that sells it around $30.00 U.S. 1-800-345-1712.
Also, I purchased my marine epoxy resin from Clark Craft for $58.00 a
gal. Clarkcraft.com
Hope this helps!
