these guns were registered by legal law abiding heavily screened gun owners
of america/canada
The Polease should concentrate on the guns on the streets before

Section 91/92 in canada is a big joke based on a Big Lie, so that
makes it as bogus as the Hell's Angels police services, which they provide

That's because "inerently dangerous" or "inherently dangerous", is
not a feasible possibility, and the "law" would be stricken down by any

You still have not got it right. It was their PAL that was expired. not
their registration certificates and if the firearms seized were long guns
the whole exercise becomes moot seeing has Parliament has voted to repeal
the laws forcing people to register long guns.

It was not the registration certificates of the firearms that had expired
prompting the confiscation as your post states. It was the expiry of the
Possession and Acquisition licence that had expired.

It's also illegal to have a ceiling height of less than 6'- 3" so
does that mean they can kick you out of your house of that???....sometimes.!
There are a lot of "illegal" basement suites, based on mere trivia of no
concern, just like a lot of PALs that get delayed because of mail strikes or
simple irrelevant technicalities that the CAFC can't keep up with...that is
also a reason for a delayed PAL, which gives the gestappes a loop-hole to
use and abuse from.

That happens, it happened to ME, hell,...that's how I know that
(registration leads to confiscation!).....because of personal and tons of
observed similes.
Trips like NOLA New Orleans confiscation comes to mind, with Mayor
Nagin having to swallow that one when he was ordered to give the back after
NRA/etc. 3 year+ court battle....AFAIK none were sold yet or filtered
through Guvmint escrow accounts.
They made the mistake of confiscating everybody, even those not
involved in the effects of the Tsunami..........

That can be a problem in a gun store sale, or a reluctant seller who
doesn't want his Sold "Registered" gun and "serial number" to return to him
with a homicide rap on it at a later date.
Since guns are registered just like a new vehicle, upon purchase at
least in Canada, the gun registration system, almost equals a new vehicle
purchase...REGISTERED to the wazoo.
There is a good chance that gun with a serial filed off on a dead
case would be discarded faster than a gun with a registered history....like

No it cant be a problem. Gun stores sales are all registered. And
private owners get a bill of sale. problems resolved.

Whats interesting is you get an almost expired letter for your
registration on your car, but you dont get one for your gun. You get it
confiscated.
