What is a stainless steel Taurus .44 Special (two inch bbl) worth these
days?

I hear that Taurus discontined this model.

I believe the Taurus 455 is a 45 acp, with
moon clips. I had one a year ago or so. Nice gun but it just
didnt fit my hand well. One other downside is the cylinder
is not held rigidly on the crane. If you shoot hot .45 ammo
and go to eject the spent casings the cylinder will pop out
of its detent they used to hold it in place, making ejection
problematic. At first I thought the gun was defective but
after I took it apart it looks like it was made that way.
Normal velocity ammo ejected perfectly, but the +P
stuff stuck a little. Mine was the Titanium version, I
sold it on GB for about 475 or so. Apparently the guy
that bought it had been looking for one for a long time.
Mine was the 4".
